Availability
I am a full-time PhD student, but I can do a lot of my work from home (besides classes), so I will have a lot of availability to watch your pets. I am free weekends (Friday (night), Saturday (night), and Sunday (night). I also am free on Mondays before 1pm and after 3pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 4pm, and Wednesdays after 5pm.

As I live in a no-pet apartment (sadly), I offer house sitting and other services that involve me coming to your home. I am very willing to arrange a meet-up before services so that I can meet you and your pet(s). I have experience doing multiple overnight sitting visits, and I am willing to discuss any safety measures you would feel comfortable with!

I would like to be informed of any special accommodations the dog(s) will require ahead of time, so that I can make sure I have all the information needed to provide the best care. Also, I would prefer to know the dog(s) play style and activity level so I can cater to them expertly.
A typical day
I love to take long walks by myself, but taking them with a pet is so much more enjoyable. As someone with experience caring for senior dogs and youthful energetic dogs, I can cater to the needs of each individual pet. Play time is so important for all dogs, but a cuddle session with an extra friendly dog holds a soft spot in my heart.

From watching my neighbors dogs for their vacations, to watching cats and dogs for clients, I have loved every second. People have relied on me for years to provide good quality care (and snuggles) to their four-legged family members. I have experience doing short day visits as well as multi-day overnight visits. I also have experience caring for multiple animals at one time (ex: two dogs and a cat).

Amanda took such amazing care of my two dogs and cat! I have always been apprehensive about traveling, but knowing they were in Amanda's care, I was able to leave without stress . Amanda had to administer meds to my 15 year old dog who suffered from heart issues, and manage his symptoms. We were so thankful for the exceptional care, and ability to get away without worries!
