About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own, I stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society, where I help care for and socialize dogs of different temperaments and needs. I am active, reliable, and very attentive to each animal’s individual personality and routine. I enjoy providing safe, loving care, regular exercise, and meaningful companionship tailored to each dog’s needs—whether that means calm indoor time, structured walks, or active outdoor time for more energetic dogs. I work mostly remotely, so I’m home the majority of the day and can provide consistent care and attention. I do have occasional appointments, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are always checked on and cared for regularly. I’m also very active and enjoy hiking and outdoor time, so I’m happy to include pets who enjoy walks, exercise, and being out and about. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs and routine. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care or medications. In the home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and not alone for long periods, giving them consistent companionship and supervision. I keep the environment clean, calm, and stress-free, and I’m very respectful of the client’s home, treating it with care as if it were my own.

About: I'm amazing with animals. (Dogs specifically.) I can say this confidently, because I'm able to understand and reciprocate communication without a single word being used. I've been attacked before, and stayed because I understand that misbehavior probably has a deeper issue than just wanting to cause pain. - Simply put. I love seeing animals happy within a loving environment. But enough with the bragging and sob stories.😂 If you need a walker, a babysitter, or someone to love the bad behavior out of your furbaby, please reach out! I have 100% open availability. I'm currently working on breaking into the freelance lifestyle, so my flexibility allows for last-minute changes and needs! Open to all days and times! I live in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful but unfenced yard. Your place is honestly (probably) better than mine. I'm a single independent woman with both professional and personal references - can be available to sit at the owner's location with ease of mind guaranteed!
About: What makes me stand out is that my business is insured for the safety and health of all pets in my care. I stay in frequent communication with pet owners to ensure that their beloved pet is safe, comfortable and shown the same love and care as they are accustomed to. I have cared for senior dogs and pay close attention to any behaviors or signs of distress that deviate from what their owners say is their norm. I have a car and have experience with vet er for my own guineapigs and am able to take immediate steps to get pets any vet care they need. I have taken care of dogs, cats and guineapigs. Drop off Time: ** For new clients, please drop off dogs prior to 5pm to allow pet time to settle in before night time. I work from home doing basic remote accounting work while I finish my online courses to pursue my CPA. I am home most of the time aside from stepping out to grocery shop and enjoy beautiful hawaii here and there. It is important that all dogs in my care are crate trained for their safety when I must make short trips out, lasting no longer than 3 hours, averaging 2 hours. (no dog will be crated that has not been crate trained. Dogs not showing any signs of destructive separation anxiety, such as scratching at doors, will not need to be crate trained. Dogs can be expected to be walked at 6am for 30 to 45 minutes depending on how much they like to sniff around. Then another potty break at 10am, 2pm another longer walk at 5:30pm and a final potty break between 8-9pm before bed. I always make sure dogs pee and poop the amount of times is normal for them and keep taking them outside until they go successfully. Night time is usually 9pm-10pm. Dogs that need extra toy play time get to play, fresh water ready for the night. For safety, my business is insured so all pets in my care are covered in any emergencies. The main area dogs will be at is in the living room safe from all things they may be tempted to chew on, knock over or swallow. There is lots of natural light and fresh pacific breeze coming off the mountains into my apartment that dogs love to sploot out on cool tile by the screen doors. Makes for excellent photos! Leashes and harnesses: I inspect all equipment clients provide as pet safety on walks is my top priority. Please insure that you provide safe collars, harnesses and leashes that will ensure your dog will be safe on walks. This means that they cannot slip out of their harness or collar and run off. On Walks: Regardless of your dog's past experiences with other dogs, I will refrain from allowing your dog interact with any dogs unless specifically authorized. I also watch for dogs sniffing around for dangerous "treats" and keep provided treats for if a dog grabs something they are not suppose to. Dogs will never be off leash in my care for any moment of time. This is to keep my insurance on them intact and will make sure that they safe.

About: I absolutely love animals and I’ve owned many animals throughout my whole life. From chickens to horses, I know how to take care of animals. Many neighbors have trusted me to take care of their houses and pets while they are away. I’m currently not working, and my schedule is pretty much entirely open. I have lots of time to spend taking care of your animals!! ❤️ I don’t have a fenced yard, however, I have a fenced dog park close by and lots of room to walk and play with any animal that needs it!! If I am taking care of your animals in your home, I would simply need instructions to follow :)

About: Hello! I am a pup lover and have been a volunteer with the Humane Society for over 10 years, fostering animals, walking dogs, helping in the vet office, among other activities. I also have walked and “nannied” dogs for 12 years. One of my past jobs include working at a pet store focused on finding the healthiest and most natural food, medicines, and toys for all pets. Here, I learned a great deal about dog health and behavior. I have been a part of 4-H and have taken classes in veterinary medicine as a pre-Vet student. I have also interned in a private vet clinic where I was able to observe patient appointments. I am a highly active DPT who loves to find fun hiking spots & will run with your dog or walk depending on their capabilities. I also love just giving them attention! I have been learning about canine rehab and am planning on obtaining my CCRT. I have been taking care of animals through Rover for over 3 years and I would love to take care of yours as I would my own while you are away! I am currently studying on weekdays and will have plenty of time to give your pup attention and exercise! I live next to two big parks that I run to often. I live in Kuli’ou’ou and am exploring the best hikes and parks! I am here for the pup but can always check on things around your home if you’d like including your plants and/or mail!

About: I’m an animal lover with a big heart and endless cuddles to give! I’ve had dogs of my own, so I understand the love, patience, walks, belly rubs, and care that pets need to feel safe and happy. I adore dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes! Since losing my sweet rescue girl (black labrador & pit bull poi dog) from the Humane Society, I’ve missed having dogs in my life and would love the chance to shower your fur baby with cuddles, walks, attention, and lots of TLC. I also regularly dogsit my boyfriend’s dog whenever the family is away on vacation because they trust me completely with his care. He (boyfriend’s dog, haha!) absolutely adores me and even though he growls at most people, he’s always gentle and loving with me 🐾 I stick with a set routine for walking and feeding. I’m in tuned with their needs and talk to them like a human being when they seem to not be feeling well (missing their owner and not eating) and try my best to cheer them up and remind them that mommy/daddy will be back soon, don’t worry! I work a regular full-time office job with the State of Hawaii in town and can step out of the office to offer potty breaks or quick check ins. I’m available anytime after 4:30pm when I get off work and I have my own car so transportation is not an issue. I’m easily reached by phone so you can always get in touch. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I understand how important trust is when welcoming someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member, so I will always treat both your pet and your space with the utmost respect, care, and professionalism. I closely follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special instructions to help pets feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to their behavior and emotions, especially if they seem anxious, lonely, or out of routine, and I make sure they receive plenty of affection, patience, reassurance, and loving companionship. Communication and trust are extremely important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins for peace of mind. Your address and personal information will always remain private and will never be shared with anyone. For your safety and comfort, absolutely no strangers or guests will ever be allowed into your home during your absence. I’m very clean, dependable, respectful, and attentive, and I’ll make sure your home stays tidy and your fur baby feels safe, loved, relaxed, and cared for until you return home!
About: I've had dogs of my own ever since I was a child that my siblings and I always took care of. As well as so many other dogs that have and are in my life. I love to keep them company while running or cuddling with them, and even giving them a good wash. I currently am available for pet care in the mornings as well as evenings, Monday throughout Friday is best along with occasional weekends same time frames. I would hope for gates throughout the halls where a pet is not allowed in a clients home. Making sure feeding schedules are kept up with, along with midday snacks if allowed. They should have a solid place to sleep and some toys if needed.
About: Aloha! As someone currently in school to become a veterinary technician, I’m deeply passionate about animals of all kinds and committed to providing the highest level of care. Growing up, I had the privilege of caring for a variety of pets—dogs, birds, fish, and turtles—and developed a lifelong love and respect for animals. From German Shepherds to Chihuahuas, I understand the importance of daily walks, training, and, most importantly, unconditional love. My medical experience of 4 years includes working as a veterinary assistant in Big Island, where I gained valuable skills in handling dogs, cats, and exotics, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. I’ve worked with pets who have special needs, medical conditions, injuries, and amputations, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care for dental and surgical patients. I’m skilled in administering oral medications, giving injections, and performing nail trims with care and compassion. Whether your pet requires basic care or extra medical attention, I’m here to ensure they feel loved, safe, and well-cared for in your absence. Let me be the trusted companion your pet deserves and ease your mind while you’re away! You will be In Good Paws 🐾 I have a pretty flexible schedule as a student at Windward, part time veterinary technician at a clinic, and the rest of my time is spent caring for animals. I want to make pet sitting as smooth of a transition by allowing time for your pet to feel comfortable around me in your presence first and to keep the same schedule you provide to reduce anxiety.
About: I've always considered myself a dog person all the way, but then I started pet sitting for neighbors who had both cats and dogs and I thought to myself, "well this isn't so bad". Fast forward about 7 years I am now an adult and run a small cat rescue out of my home. It started with 4 tiny kittens my boyfriend and I rescued outside of his home in Manoa and we ended up moving to be able to take them all in. It's been about 4 years since that happened and... we have a very full house now. I have experience with oral medication, bottle baby kittens, puppies, dogs, cats, some senior pets and a little experience with birds. I am always willing to learn more. I grew up in Hawaii Kai and currently reside in Kaimuki and have shared transportation. I currently work part time but have availability for drop ins and walks. I am unable to do overnight house sitting stays (in your home or mine) due to my own animals but I am available for standard care house sitting, dog walking and drop-ins. House Sitting - Standard Care - guarantees 3-6, 30 minute drop ins, including a walk(for dogs) - allows me time with other clients, while making sure your furbaby still gets the care and attention they need - I do not stay in your home overnight - must live within 10 minutes of Kaimuki **Disclaimer: John is my partner and he will sometimes drive with me to clients homes, he has experience in cat and dog care and is also my partner in animal rescue, feel free to ask more questions. I (alisha) am the primary pet sitter*** I participate in animals rescue but am currently taking a break. I have cats and dogs of my own so I understand the need for consistency, I am currently working part time from home. I understand the need for keeping your fur babies safe, I always make sure to close the door quickly behind me! I will take the time to get to know them so they can trust me and so can you!
About: Hi! My name is Tarah and I am a passionate, caring, and responsible animal lover. I have over twenty years of experience working at doggy day cares, animal shelters, and as a dog sitter/walker. Originally from Honolulu, HI, I began volunteering at dog rescues in California while in college in 2004. Since then I have worked full time at doggy day cares in Honolulu and NYC including spending overnights with over ten dogs in my care. I have also been a dog sitter and dog walker in different cities over the last twenty years. I have experience working with different dog breeds and temperaments. I have some background in dog training as well as dealing with behavioral issues. Personally I have owned dogs my whole life and at one point had three dogs and two cats! I take pride in treating all animals as if they were my own children and have rescued many loose dogs I have found and reunited them with their owners. I have worked with 5 lb chihuahuas to 100 lb mastiffs, and everything in between as well as potty training puppies and senior dogs with dementia. A true caretaker, I have also worked as an early childhood educator but am not working at the moment so would be able to give devoted attention to your fur babies. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to run around and a small park in walking distance of my home. While your pet stays with me I will be able to be with them 24/7 and take them on at least 3 walks a day. I am currently not working so would be able to devote all of my time to caring for your animals. I am also available for overnights I have a fenced in yard with lots of room for your fur baby to run around. I also live in walking distance from a dog park.
About: I’ve been taking care of all types of animals since the age of twelve. I am very reliable according to all of the families I have worked for. I am very good with dogs of all kinds and can easily handle walking, bathing and feeding. As a stay-at-home mom to my 3 month old baby Kody, my days are already built around a calm and nurturing routine. We spend most of our time at home, which makes pet care a natural fit for our lifestyle. Whether it’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, or just giving pets lots of love and attention, I’m able to include them in our rhythm. Kody enjoys the presence of gentle animals, and I always ensure a peaceful, safe environment for both him and any pets I’m caring for. I treat every home and furry friend with the same care and consistency I give my own family. I’ve had experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant pre-baby and I am very comfortable providing home care. I will treat your property with respect and follow all rules, I will also do everything to make sure your fur baby is safe and well taken care of.

About: Why leave your dog with just any pet sitter when you can leave him with someone who will treat them like they're own? As a dog lover, I guarantee that your dogs would be in the best of hands. I grew up having 4 dogs at home...Now I have one small dog, Piko, who is 2 and loves to play. Piko will make sure your dog is kept active plus he loves having friends. We can take walks to the park, play fetch, roll around in the grass, or even go for a hike. I can assure you that your “baby” will be well taken cared of and have a blast. I would give your dog 100% of my attention and follow all of your specific instructions. I currently work part time. I have lots of energy and time for your pet(s). I love to go on jogs and be outdoors with my little guy. If you have exercise preference for your pet please let me know. I can take your dog for a walk/jog/hike. If they like company, I could bring my little guy to play chase in your back yard or we can play fetch at the dog park.
About: My pet care experience started back when I was roughly 12 years old. We did not have dogs in my house until I was a bit older, with the exceptions of some family friends. One particular family friend had a great, big, beautiful black lab named Fowler. He really kick-started my zeal for pet loving. They were over almost daily and Fowler began to feel like my dog. He always played with me, laid with me, and even slept on top of my feet every night. It's one of my most memorable experiences in my life - something about the nostalgia and how sweet it was has always brought back bittersweet memories. Fowler was already pretty old when he came into my life, so it wasn't much later that I had to take care of him in his old age. As a hyper kid, I had to learn to adjust to Fowler's age. This really helped me later on in life, where I feel more comfortable caring for and being around dogs of any age. I have been close to many dogs in my life, and even before having some of our own in my family, I felt capable of gauging and responding the appropriate way to many different types of dogs. A while later, after Fowler passed, my family got a few dogs. I have helped and spearheaded the majority of their care throughout the years, being that I was always so eager to do it. I would wake up early for feeding and walking, I have helped train a handful of dogs - small to large, young to old. I have given shots orally for dogs, but feel confident in performing dog CPR, though I do not have a certification for the latter. No matter the dog, I am always so so eager to meet, walk, and take care of them(this is why going to the BeltLine is so hard for me, so many dogs I want to pet). If there is anything missing in my profile, please reach out to me! I am always looking for ways to improve my puppy-loving and care-taking. I am currently seeking part- and full-time work, so my schedule is currently very open. Hopefully I can meet your needs and take the best care of your pups! I unfortunately don’t live in a place that allows pets, so boarding is not an option. I have done a lot of pet/house sitting in the past, and my policy is to leave it better than I found it. I clean while I’m there and hope to make it look like I wasn’t even there in the first place. For the pups, I aim to adjust my schedule as best I can to meet the schedule the pups are already on, since routine is so important!
About: Hi! I'm looking to supplement my income with something that brings me joy; cute, silly, friendly dogs! I work freelance in the film industry, and I’m currently between shows meaning I have plenty of free time! I grew up with Golden Retrievers so taking care of dogs comes natural. For boarding I only ask that your dog is friendly with other dogs and not one to bark excessively when their humans are away. I share outdoor space with two small neighbor dogs and I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood. When I’m between shows my schedule is very flexible. I will be home most of the time and able to provide the walks they need. Dogs will be fed, watered, walked and loved while you’re gone. I will be sure to follow the care instructions you provide along with my own intuition.
