About: I’ve been helping take care of animals since I was a little girl. I’ve had and fostered dogs of all sizes and loved cats my whole life. I have experience with exotic birds, chickens, and reptiles as well! I recently moved to Waimanalo to live with my partner, who is also a petsitter, and his family. I work part time in Waimanalo a few days a week, so I’d be staying overnight with them and spending off time making sure they’re taken care of. Being mindful is something that I think is most important in regards to caring for pets. Whether it’s of their needs, location and so on.

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own, I stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society, where I help care for and socialize dogs of different temperaments and needs. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of every breed and size my whole life. My household growing up has always had at least 1 extra fluffy family member making our lives better. I have always had a way with dogs, and have been one to call on to take care for the likes of family, friends, and strangers alike. I work 12 hour days on the weekend and love to fill the rest of my time with taking care of your extra loved one. I spend most of my time in nature, working out (outdoors and indoors), surfing, martial arts, and studying / learning new things everyday. Care has to do with reading what the dog is trying to communicate. I want to make sure he/she is on their proper eating schedule, rest when they are tired, walked and played with when they have energy and the zoomies. Making sure he/she doesn’t run out into the middle of the street or gets aggression from other dogs is vital. I have a semi-fenced yard with an open driveway. There’s a dog park very close by. When taking care of dogs at your property, I make it my mission to follow the house rules to a tee when it comes to furniture and indoor/outdoor rules.

About: I’ve had 4 long-time canine companions over the course of my life, Mutsy, Rusty, Petey & Molly. Each one still holds a very special place in my heart. After we lost Molly, I began volunteering at the Hawaii Island Humane Society. There I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, etc. The most important thing I learned is that to work with a dog effectively, you must gain its trust. By reading a dog’s body language and verbal cues you can tune into what is needed to provide the best care possible. I hope you will trust me to take great care of your dog whenever you need assistance with walks, pet sitting/visits, and/or bathing needs. I am generally available between 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday, although my schedule is flexible. Feel free to contact me if you have pet care needs that vary outside of those days & hours. I am available to provide pet care in your home as needed. That could include visits, pet sitting, baths, and/or overnight stays. I am very conscientious about taking care of any & all agreed upon responsibilities.

The result: steady, attentive care, so locals can travel and visitors can explore the island, without second-guessing where their dog is staying. I care for a blind and deaf dog for two hours daily. While I am out, your dog will be inside the home that was specifically created with your dog comfort. Each day follows a calm, structured rhythm based on the individual dog. Mornings begin with outdoor movement, followed by relaxed, unhurried meals. The day balances activity and rest, with space to move, play, and decompress, while gentle guidance is naturally integrated throughout. Evenings are calm and predictable, allowing each dog to fully settle in a safe, peaceful home with one-on-one attention..

About: I have had a dog of my own all my life. I love animals and I have taken care of my friends and family pets for a while now. I am currently working part time along with going to school but my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m willing to work around anyone’s schedule. I live in a pet-friendly apartment. The living area is extremely clean and open for your pets to roam around and has room for a kennel if necessary.
