About: My husband and I have always cared for and owned dogs, but we currently don’t have one and are missing our fur friends! I recently moved from England to Hawaii to join my husband here for work, and before welcoming a dog of our own, we’d love to spend time caring for yours! I will be the primary caregiver, as I work fully from home. Back in England, I looked after my mom’s dog almost every day for the past six years whenever I wasn’t working at the hospital, as I worked from home a lot too. I also regularly cared for friends’ and family’s dogs for overnight stays, weekends and holidays. In fact, I became the go-to dog sitter in our little English village! As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and I bring that same level of patience, compassion, and commitment to every dog I care for. We know that every dog has their own unique personality and routine, and we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and so very loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, we’ll care for them as if they were our own! I (Carmen) will be the primary caregiver, with Cam (husband) home in the evenings for cuddles and post-dinner beach walks with us. I currently work from home, part-time as a UK-registered Dietitian. I’d love a fur colleague to keep me company! I walk, run or swim at the beach every morning or lunchtime and evenings too, and Kalama Beach is only a 10 minute walk from our house. My husband works with the military (he’s a ex-marine officer) so he’s not around as much but he would absolutely love doggy kisses to welcome him home after work. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We have a large shared yard that is fully enclosed, with two access points that we securely block off whenever a dog is outside, so they can enjoy the space safely under our supervision. We share the yard with three lovely neighboring couples who are also dog lovers, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Our home is a spacious two-story, three-bedroom house with plenty of room for your pup to relax. After beach adventures or muddy walks, we even have two bathtub showers ready for rinsing off sandy paws and giving your dog a little spa treatment! We’ll follow your dog’s usual routine, provide lots of love and attention, and ensure they’re always supervised and cared for as if they were our own.

“Maple was great, we’d definitely love for her to watch our pup Lovely again. Maple accepted our last-minute request, and responded quickly. Then, during Lovely’s day with Maple, Maple sent lots of updates, with pictures and videos. Lovely is shy around new people, but Maple was patient with her and let her take the lead on what she was comfortable with. For example, Lovely was shy to go in the house at first, so Maple set her up on a long-line on the deck and kept the door open so Lovely could go inside whenever she was ready. This was our first time using Rover, and we’re so grateful to have found Maple!”

I would love to watch your furbaby and take great care of her/him! I’m experienced with caring for dogs of all stages, big or small. I like to exercise, so your dog will get plenty of exercise (walk or run) with me:) I also speak Japanese and Spanish! I do not work, but do travel often to mainland as I have elderly parents. So when I’m on island I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. My husband works from home, and we recently bought a spacious single-family home with a yard and large lanai, so your dogs can enjoy hanging out inside or outside.

“Taylor is an absolute godsend! As well as her husband Kevin. She takes care of Kahlo weekly when I go to work and I am able to relax knowing Kahlo is in the best hands. I went on my first trip recently and Kahlo stayed with Taylor and Kevin for several days. Being a new dog mom, meant I had overwhelming anxiety leaving on my first trip and was so worried about leaving my dog convinced she would have serious separation anxiety. Well, I was totally wrong. LOL. I am honestly not sure that Kahlo wanted to leave. She had the best time and enjoyed all the attention she was spoiled with during her stay. Taylor was so sweet and sent me so many updates and pictures throughout her stay. She even printed a keepsake of pictures from her stay that I now have in my home. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away. It has been a true blessing finding Taylor. She is kind, communicative, and treats your dog as her own. Thank you Taylor and Kevin for being so awesome ❤️! About: After the death of our beloved dog, our family decided to take a break from dog ownership to heal and rest a bit. I have had dogs (usually more than 1 at a time) my whole life! Pet sitting is my way of loving on dogs during this busy stage of life when I cannot have my own. I would love to shower your dog with lots of love and attention! We do have a kitten in our home. She has adjusted very well to having dogs around. We are a homeschool family and are at home or near home most every day. I would never have to leave your pet for any extended period of time. Not only do we have a fenced in yard, but also live walking distance to a couple of beautiful parks, beaches, and a small dog park. Please be aware that I do have small children. Ages 3, 6, 10, & 12. I will love your pet like my own! Your beloved pet will have snuggles and pets and enjoy walks outside to our local park and dog park if you approve. I live in a beautiful area and love to be outside with furry friends.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of every breed and size my whole life. My household growing up has always had at least 1 extra fluffy family member making our lives better. I have always had a way with dogs, and have been one to call on to take care for the likes of family, friends, and strangers alike. I work 12 hour days on the weekend and love to fill the rest of my time with taking care of your extra loved one. I spend most of my time in nature, working out (outdoors and indoors), surfing, martial arts, and studying / learning new things everyday. Care has to do with reading what the dog is trying to communicate. I want to make sure he/she is on their proper eating schedule, rest when they are tired, walked and played with when they have energy and the zoomies. Making sure he/she doesn’t run out into the middle of the street or gets aggression from other dogs is vital. I have a semi-fenced yard with an open driveway. There’s a dog park very close by. When taking care of dogs at your property, I make it my mission to follow the house rules to a tee when it comes to furniture and indoor/outdoor rules.
