About: I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 years, pet owner of cats, dogs and birds all my life. I am kind, respectful, responsible and friendly to all. I love getting to know any animal and see their different characteristics and personalities! Currently I’m focusing on my art and caring for family, so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to change my schedule according to what is needed. It is easier for me to care for pets in their own home as I have multiple pets in the household. About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. About: I’ve been the primary caretaker for my dog for the past 7 years, handling everything from daily walks and feedings to baths and medication. I walk him at least four times a day and try to get in a longer mile-ish walk a few times a week so he can explore at his own pace. I’ve also cared for several friends’ dogs for multi-day stays ranging from a couple of days to over a week. Between that and growing up around pets, I’m very comfortable reading a dog’s personality and routine. My wife has lived with dogs her whole life as well, so our home is very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the couch and our own dog sleeps in bed with us. I’ve also done a fair bit of basic training with him. I taught him “wait” (stay), helped him get comfortable with paw cleaning after walks, and even set up a little “dog nest” on the bed that he now uses as his sleeping spot. I’m attentive to routines, meds, and the little details that make pets feel comfortable. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m around most of the time and able to give dogs attention, bathroom breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Our normal routine is a morning outing, one in the afternoon, another around 5–6pm, and a final one around 9pm before bed. If a dog needs to go out sooner or starts pawing at the door, I’m always happy to take them out. I try to fit in longer walks when the weather and work schedule allow, usually in the evenings. Because I’m home during the day, pets aren’t left alone for long stretches and get plenty of interaction. I work from home and have a wrap-around fenced yard, so dogs have plenty of safe space to wander and get fresh air. I keep a close eye on them when they’re outside and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax and make themselves comfortable. Our home is very dog friendly, and we’re used to having pets around. If a dog needs to be crated for sleeping or while we step out briefly, we do have a crate available. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, and any specific instructions from owners. I’m also happy to send photos or videos throughout the stay so you can see how your pet is doing.

About: Hi! My name is Tarah and I am a passionate, caring, and responsible animal lover. I have over twenty years of experience working at doggy day cares, animal shelters, and as a dog sitter/walker. Originally from Honolulu, HI, I began volunteering at dog rescues in California while in college in 2004. Since then I have worked full time at doggy day cares in Honolulu and NYC including spending overnights with over ten dogs in my care. I have also been a dog sitter and dog walker in different cities over the last twenty years. I have experience working with different dog breeds and temperaments. I have some background in dog training as well as dealing with behavioral issues. Personally I have owned dogs my whole life and at one point had three dogs and two cats! I take pride in treating all animals as if they were my own children and have rescued many loose dogs I have found and reunited them with their owners. I have worked with 5 lb chihuahuas to 100 lb mastiffs, and everything in between as well as potty training puppies and senior dogs with dementia. A true caretaker, I have also worked as an early childhood educator but am not working at the moment so would be able to give devoted attention to your fur babies. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to run around and a small park in walking distance of my home. While your pet stays with me I will be able to be with them 24/7 and take them on at least 3 walks a day. I am currently not working so would be able to devote all of my time to caring for your animals. I am also available for overnights I have a fenced in yard with lots of room for your fur baby to run around. I also live in walking distance from a dog park.

About: I grew up in the foothills of San Diego where I was raised with all kinds of animals! Cats, dogs, chickens, you name it! Animals aren’t just pets to me—they are members of the family and should be treated as such. I am a student on campus one day a week, and the other days are spent doing remote field work. Because of this I have a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and giving care to your furry loved ones. Although this is a New York City apartment, it is quite large withs a lot of open space during the colder months when long walks become a little shorter. There is a lot of room for playing fetch and such. I live on the first floor of a building which makes trips outside very easy and convenient, which is good for dogs of all ages. Additionally, there are three doors between the apartment and the street, which is helpful for the escape artist-type!
