About: Plenty of love to go around in my home, so plenty of space for snuggles and friends. All sizes and ages welcome, cats and dogs! I am a retired veteran, SAHM, so plenty of time/space. My home is well equipped for animals and rather large. The cat we own also stays in my room. No one will be assisting me with care. We have a fenced in backyard. Separated upstairs and downstairs, as well as gates for important areas. We also have a car AND truck for transport.
“Josie is a gem. She has always been helpful with Alika. Josie helped me take him to the vet, it would have been so much harder for me without her there. I really appreciate all she does. Alika loves spending time with Josie, Jonah, and their dog Money when they come with her. They alway spend extra time with him and he loves that.”

“Alika had a great time with Hailey and Ben. He came back panting with a smile and was lying down resting after they left. That’s what he needs a really good walk and to come back tired and happy.”

About: I’ve had pets of my own for 15 + years. I am madly in love with cats and dogs but currently cannot have any of our own. This means that I have lots of love to give your fur baby! I work part-time as a yoga instructor and housekeeper, so I have lots of little pockets of time in my day that’s I’d love to fill with dog walks/playtime or Kitty care. When caring for pets in their own home i familiarize myself with the locations of their walking supplies, food and water status (fresh water always!), toys, and learn their favorite places to perch, vibe, or hide.

“Aimee is professional and always shows up when she says she will. She's even willing to add a day if you need it. I've been very happy with the service and the communication. My dog likes her also. I couldn't do my job if it wasn't for the reliability Aimee provides.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Shafter
Rockstar service as always. It's been a while since I have needed Ellie to be walked by Hayley. Ellie was so happy to see her even after such a long time of them seeing each other. Clearly Hayley has made a life time impression ❤️❤️ thanks for walking Ellie and giving her so much love!

KaVina is absolutely wonderful with my high-energy young dog. From day one, it's been clear she genuinely loves dogs. And my pup adores her right back! Beyond her natural warmth with animals, KaVina is consistently professional and communicative, always receptive to feedback, and thoughtfully leaves detailed Rover cards after every walk. I couldn't ask for a better walker!

After such a great experience the first time, I knew Sasha was the person I wanted to call when I needed a dog walker again! Penny is always so excited to see her and comes back happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such loving and capable hands. Sasha is reliable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing dog walker!

Josie is a gem. She has always been helpful with Alika. Josie helped me take him to the vet, it would have been so much harder for me without her there. I really appreciate all she does. Alika loves spending time with Josie, Jonah, and their dog Money when they come with her. They alway spend extra time with him and he loves that.

Simón loves Taysia so much. He gets so excited to see her and she is so sweet and a great person. He comes home exhausted and sleepy with a smile on his face. He’s 95lbs and high energy but she knows how to work with him well! She’s always my first choice for a walker.

Tatia and I are extremely thankful to Jazmin to accommodate us last minute request. She was very professional with Jerry and Jerry was always anxiously waiting Jazmin's arrival for his routine walk. We will absolutely consider Jazmin again for future and will strongly recommend her to any dog owner. We give Jazmin a 5 STAR rating. THANK YOU JAZMIN !

Dominique is the best! She has been walking my dog while I am at work for several weeks now and I will continue to use her in the future! She is reliable, she responds quickly, and she is always sure to let me know her availability as quickly as she can. I have really appreciated working with her and I know Louie looks forward to seeing her in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
