Not good from start to finish. Arriving hours late for dog pickup, loosing special medication for my pet that had to be refrigerated and required to be administered the day she got her. Poor communication not telling us anything until we inquire like noticing on our security cameras our dog was left alone hours after the agreed and paid start time. Aimee had been walking my dogs for a few weeks prior off of the Rover platform and did fine. She was very comfortable using the restroom flipping the toilet lid up and leaving it that way like she was in her own home. Sadly one of my two girls of 11 years just passed unexpectedly days prior to travel and was in utter shock as she had been in perfect health prior. It was devastating so I was concerned and sensitive to how the other pet, Luna. would take it as dogs can deal with loss physically. Sadly she was already dealing with some new uncertain health issues that began a month prior. I received only one photo and short text the next morning and beyond that no real daily updates; videos, photos detailed sharing given my concern about her mental and physical health. Unbelievable given her knowledge of what just occurred days prior and the importance of doing so was clearly verbalized. I find out after I fly out she decided to engage in Doggy Daycare in her home (sharing after the fact verses get our feedback much earlier prior to payment if we were ok with that). This would have been at the same time watching what was supposed to be two big senior dogs for 5 days at her small place. I would have NOT agreed to it. Like other areas she wasn't transparent about what she does and assumes its always ok without sharing. Now the Rover In-home sitting is down to just Luna, with loss of Maile her companion of many years, it would seem more than sensible if she was engaging in what any official doggie daycare facility would do, be present at all times for their needs and safety. iInteract and maybe even try to play with them would not be unexpected. I can comfortably believe Aimee most certainly was not doing any of these normal details. As it gets worse. Luna gets bit by another of her guest canines on the ear. Her reply is “I don't know what happened, maybe it got caught on something but I've been taking care of it.” WTF. That almost made my head do a 360. I cant believe she didn't take responsibility for it first and foremost, but complete deflection and/or an outright lie. Matters not. Both terrible shares and unacceptable. Doesn’t stop there. I arrive home from my trip and need to unpack and then quickly drive over to get Luna. There is no key for us to get in our home after arriving that evening. Stranded outside our own home. We learn Aimee decided to take the key home with her. Aimee chose to take our one backup interior access key that we leave for times just like this. Aimee is allowed ONLY to use said key to open the interior door after getting thru our security gate that has a punch number code for access we extended to her for dog walks ONLY. No dogs to walk as you are watching the one and only dog at your home. Why? I feel it is obvious, she was rushing (she told us) not paying attention (lost pets medication) and forgot. Just like she decided to not tell us about the injury or anything when it actually occurred. I got back from my trip to pick her up even though Aimee was paid to drop her off. Terrible. There are so many more holes that occurred, like rushing in hours an hours late to get her when it shoudl have been before 12p all while leaving my remaining dog alone in a warm place for hours and hours after she had just lost her companion days ago. I can summarize Aimee is not reliable with the overall safety of your animal. It is obvious she is overdoing it and taking on way way too many jobs for money, and your pet will suffer as mine did. I have cancelled all future dog walking services with her and blocked her from access to our home while we discover at a vet appointment upcoming, at our own cost to boot, if the health of our pet is now a concern due to the dog bite injury, and not intervening when our dog is eating grass and weeds that she will vomit up alongside all her food later (yep! that happened 1 hour after we got her back). Please note, if you appreciate affection extended to your animals and a genuine connection by your walker and pet caregiver, that is not Aimee at all. Never seen this before from a dog caregiver. She makes herself too busy doing too much and she admits to this, yet that is unacceptable when caring for someone's family pet or service animal. They are our children, companions and part of our lives. Don't think she comprehends this as she has none of her own. When it comes to Aimee, hard pass!

Leaving a big German Shepherd who has medical requirements for the weekend can be nerve-wracking, but Aimee gave me complete peace of mind. She seamlessly managed Rex’s medical needs and had no problem handling his energy. Rex had an absolute blast playing with the other dogs under her watch and was so happy when I picked him up.
