Pet care experience
For the past three summers, I've traveled out of state to work with clients in other states and countries. In the summer of 2024, I will continue working with my desert clients in the Coachella Valley. The desert heat isn't all that fun in the summer months for our fur-covered friends, so we must plan for morning walks, pool time, and cool indoor playtime. (More about Me) Hello – I love long walks in the park and on the beach… with dogs. I am a compassionate, experienced, and trustworthy animal caretaker and a lifelong animal advocate. My dog, cat, mouse, and fish were my best friends growing up as an only child. I started animal-sitting and house-sitting in high school and volunteered at the local animal shelter while in college. Later I worked as a kennel technician for animal control in Southern California and a humane educator and animal adoption counselor for a Southern California non-profit organization. I am very familiar with administering medication and taking special care of senior pets. I am available and experienced and have knowledgeable care for domestic animals and some farm animals, too. 🐈🐕🐩🐓🐖🐶🐱🐭🐰 Palm Springs has been my home since 2016. I am available to care for your fur baby in Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall; all you have to do is call. ☎️

Is he/she active or more sedentary? Does he/she like other dogs? Is he/she considered friendly or a challenge? How long can they be left alone? Is he/she have a free run of the house or only specific areas of the house? Is he/she allergic to anything? These are a few things that are good for me to know before we head out on our own together.
A typical day
Depending on the dog, we could take a drive, go on a hike, play fetch, or find an excellent park to sniff around. If your pup is a snuggler, there is always room for two on the couch and time to chill poolside.

Availability
I spent the summers of 2021, 2022, and 2023 as a traveling pet sitter. I have fantastic opportunities to house-sit and care for pets across the country, the United Kingdom, and France. An abundance of pandemic-adopted pups and kitties are now part of families. Folks are starting to return to the office and do business and pleasure travel again, and I am available to help calm the anxious fur babies and their humans. Many pets have become accustomed to having their humans at home due to the restrictions of the pandemic. So, if you have to head out of town for business this winter, plan to visit Palm Springs for the holidays, or are finally ready to take a vacation, I'm here to help.
