We are truly grateful that Ms. Sierra was willing and able to walk Luna for the past nine days. We would not have been able to go on a cruise without her accepting our request on Rover and it was a pleasure to meet her. Due to our dogs black coat and the hot asphalt it was important that Luna be picked up early in the morning.

Long story short, great person, poor service. You will not get all of the items you brought to daycare, and if you do, it may end up in an unideal condition. I’ve booked with Sierra before and she was great for a last-minute booking. This was the first time I booked doggy daycare for multiple days. Sierra is a really nice person and means well, however, we were pretty dissatisfied with her services this time around. As usual, we give Sierra a bag of essentials for our pup such as a water bowl, food bowl, a toy, pee pads, and a satchel for holding our pup. The first day, I went to drop my pup off in the 1-hour window I put down in the booking, and Sierra wasn’t responsive until I was at the door. I messaged her that I was on the way, and I had to wait outside for 10 minutes. It didn’t make me feel good that she told me looked at her phone once in the morning to check if I was on my way and then went back to sleep. Later that day, my partner picked our pup up and Sierra gave back the satchel wet; she apologized for having tea spilled on it. She didn’t message me about it; I found out when my partner picked our pup up. My partner and I let it slide as we understand things happen. The second day, I have a 1-hour window to drop off my pup as I have to get to work, and Sierra tells me the same morning that she has to walk another dog in the neighborhood and asks me what time I’m planning to arrive. It was drizzling outside, and Sierra was running late even though I told her that I was on my way and I was going to drop my pup off at a certain time. Then, she tells me that if I’m running late to work, I can drop my pup off in the backyard (*without supervision), which I kindly declined and stated that I would wait in my car with the pup until she showed up. I waited another 10 minutes from when I said I would be there. The third day, we came to pick our pup up and one of the glass bowls in the bag was broken because their cat knocked the bag off of the table. We ended up going home with our pup and they gave us the bag with broken shards of glass. Lastly, we didn’t get our pup’s toy back at the end of the service. Overall, we are pretty disappointed about the service we received, and we hope that this review shows what areas can be improved.
