“Had a great experience with Chelsie! She followed all our instructions and needs, and I could tell would provide great care for our dog on walks. Would definitely book again.”

“Joel does extremely well with Alika and his high energy and Boxer strength, which can be challenging for some. Alika comes back tired and ready to settle down for a couple hours.”

“Sam did an amazing job walking my pup! She communicated clearly and was super detail oriented. Sam is very reliable and kind! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an excellent dog walker!”

“Booked Josie 2x a day while I was away for 2 days. I felt better knowing that Alika was in good hands and would get a good exercise while I was away for 1 night and 2 days. I also trust Josie to come in our home to get Alika while we are not there.”

About: Started young - I fostered a puppy in high school and pet sit for friends’ and families’ dogs. They’d rely on me to walk, feed, and be the best companion to their pets. As a cat mom, I know how it feels to not be there with your furry friend while you’re out of town or at work. I will be there to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of in those moments! I have a flexible schedule so I can help keep your pup company! Walking, at home visits for feeding/playing/bathroom breaks - Morning to afternoon is my biggest gap of availability. I am mindful when opening and closing doors, crating your doggie securely (if that’s their routine), being attentive while their playing to make sure they aren’t ingesting anything that isn’t their kibble, and most importantly reporting back to you if I notice anything unusual with your fur baby.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life from big to small. Friends and family would trust me to care for their pets whenever needed. I have pets of my own so I’m experienced from the puppy stage to whenever needing extra care. I’m currently available weekdays and weekends whenever needed. I am available for pet walking and walk-in visits only. My time and attention will be solely towards providing care for your pets. I am currently not offering boarding or pet care in my own home. I am able to care for your pet in your own home! Whatever is needed for your pet, I will make sure to provide the care and love.
“Aimee is professional and always shows up when she says she will. She's even willing to add a day if you need it. I've been very happy with the service and the communication. My dog likes her also. I couldn't do my job if it wasn't for the reliability Aimee provides.”

“Thank you to Jayda for another great experience with Mochi! She took him on a morning walk, and he came home happy, relaxed, and ready for a nap. Jayda is very communicative, flexible with scheduling, and always makes the process easy and stress-free. I truly appreciate the care and attention she gives Mochi and would definitely continue booking with her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aiea
KaVina is absolutely wonderful with my high-energy young dog. From day one, it's been clear she genuinely loves dogs. And my pup adores her right back! Beyond her natural warmth with animals, KaVina is consistently professional and communicative, always receptive to feedback, and thoughtfully leaves detailed Rover cards after every walk. I couldn't ask for a better walker!

Josie is a gem. She has always been helpful with Alika. Josie helped me take him to the vet, it would have been so much harder for me without her there. I really appreciate all she does. Alika loves spending time with Josie, Jonah, and their dog Money when they come with her. They alway spend extra time with him and he loves that.

Simón loves Taysia so much. He gets so excited to see her and she is so sweet and a great person. He comes home exhausted and sleepy with a smile on his face. He’s 95lbs and high energy but she knows how to work with him well! She’s always my first choice for a walker.

Rebecca is awesome! She is our regular walker, walking our dog twice a week. She goes above and beyond from what we expect. Rebecca always keeps us in the know when it comes to our girl. We completely trust Rebecca and know that our dog is safe, happy, and prioritized on her walks. Although we are currently taking obedience training lessons with our own personal trainer, our putty mix can still be dog reactive to certain dogs. We appreciate the extra effort Rebecca puts into Pili’s walks by also working on her training. We love her and highly recommend using her services!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
