Sierra did a wonderful job taking care of my baby girl. My dog tends to not eat when I work a lot outside the home until I get home. Sierra stood by her and helped her feel comfortable enough to eat while I was gone after a nice little walk. I really appreciated how many pics she took and her informative summaries.

About: I’ve taken care of all different types of dogs from a very young age. I grew up with big dogs, so no type of dog scares me. I also worked at a pet shipping company for a while where I handled all different types of dogs and some vet issues. I have years of experience, and love all animals. I quit my job recently to stay at home, so I will always be at home providing a safe environment for your pets. Since I love animals so much, you will probably find me giving your pets all the love I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs (a pittie and a golden retriever). I am happy to do frequent walks, am comfortable administering medication if need be, giving them a bath etc etc

About: I have taken care of my 2 dogs for the past 10 years and I have taken care of my neighbors dogs many times. I have a very needy dog so I know when a dog needs to go for a walk or needs food. My only job is pet sitting so I am extremely available as long as I have time to go on hikes or walks around the city. I walk one of my two dogs 4-5 times a day and I walk my other dog only once or twice a day because she is very old but I feed both of them 3 times a day. I only gives them baths when they get stinky.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I was around 8 years old. I helped my senior dog when he couldn’t do things himself, as well as helped my relatives with their senior dogs. I’ve always been drawn to helping out animals, and not just dogs. I love all pets, no matter what size or age. I have patience and will take my time to make sure your pet is safe and well taken care of. I can do anything! Bathe, feed, walk, play, and more. I’m a fresh high school graduate. I’m going into college for veterinary technology so I can become a vet tech! Pet care will help me stay occupied while learning more on how to handle animals and prepare for my future. In my home/area, I will be able to feed, bathe, walk, and play with your pets in or outdoors. The same thing goes for my client’s house too, as well as making sure everything stays tidy while still giving your pet the care they need.

About: Started young - I fostered a puppy in high school and pet sit for friends’ and families’ dogs. They’d rely on me to walk, feed, and be the best companion to their pets. As a cat mom, I know how it feels to not be there with your furry friend while you’re out of town or at work. I will be there to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of in those moments! I have a flexible schedule so I can help keep your pup company! Walking, at home visits for feeding/playing/bathroom breaks - Morning to afternoon is my biggest gap of availability. I am mindful when opening and closing doors, crating your doggie securely (if that’s their routine), being attentive while their playing to make sure they aren’t ingesting anything that isn’t their kibble, and most importantly reporting back to you if I notice anything unusual with your fur baby.

About: I've had animals my entire life. We grew up with multiple dogs and cats, as well as fish. I pet-sat as a child, and walked dogs. I'm that person who always says, "Can I pet your dog?". I have skills for crate training, and puppy training. I've worked with all size dogs as well as multiple breeds of cats. I currently work 6 hours a day. I have plenty of time to give your pet attention and love. I like to go for morning and evening walks and will bring your pet along! We live in a tri-plex. Our unit is very large with an entire spare room for your pet! We have a small front yard and we are not located in a busy area. We are on a back road that is great for walking. We have a pet park down the block as well.

About: Hi, I’m Yesi, a lifelong animal lover. I’ve been dog sitting for over a decade and recently started using Rover to expand my network. This platform allows my Great Pyrenees, Zeus, to enjoy temporary playmates without the commitment of adopting another dog. In addition to dogs, I’ve also worked with cats, raised bunnies and chickens, and even had a pet parrot, so I’m very comfortable caring for a variety of animals and personalities. While I welcome most breeds, I can no longer board German Shepherds in my home due to a couple past aggressive altercations with Zeus, or small male breeds, as they tend to mark territory in my home. I am, however, still available for drop-in visits and house sitting. My top priority is maintaining a clean and safe environment for all pets. Zeus is a gentle giant who loves meeting new friends, and I strive to make your pet’s stay as stress-free as possible. I also like to hold meet & greets at my home to ensure compatibility before any bookings, and it gives you an opportunity to see where your companion will be staying. Looking forward to meeting your furry friends! 🐾 Zeus never misses a walk, and we start our mornings with a refreshing stroll and end our evenings with another. If your dog isn't a walker, that’s okay! We have a large fenced yard where they can safely potty and play. With my flexible schedule from Rover and other jobs, I can stay home full-time when I have 4-legged furry guests, ensuring your pup gets plenty of quality playtime throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard where your dog can run freely and safely. My gentle Great Pyrenees will be there to keep your pup company and provide some extra comfort. If needed, I can easily crate your dog for their safety and security. I prioritize creating a trusting environment, so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well-cared for while they’re with me.

As always a dependable and stellar dogwalker experience. Our dog is older and doesn’t walk for the full time but Nessa always makes sure to make the most of the time by playing with our dog and looking for ways to enrich his mind. Our go-to sitter down in Pearl City!

KaVina is absolutely wonderful with my high-energy young dog. From day one, it's been clear she genuinely loves dogs. And my pup adores her right back! Beyond her natural warmth with animals, KaVina is consistently professional and communicative, always receptive to feedback, and thoughtfully leaves detailed Rover cards after every walk. Rebecca is awesome! She is our regular walker, walking our dog twice a week. She goes above and beyond from what we expect. Rebecca always keeps us in the know when it comes to our girl. We completely trust Rebecca and know that our dog is safe, happy, and prioritized on her walks. Although we are currently taking obedience training lessons with our own personal trainer, our putty mix can still be dog reactive to certain dogs. We appreciate the extra effort Rebecca puts into Pili’s walks by also working on her training. We love her and highly recommend using her services!

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
