“Jamie is awesome.. She takes excellent care of my cats and always provides sweet notes and pictures from her visits. I am grateful to have found such a caring cat auntie. Highly recommend.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I had a really good experience. Ryan was great with putting me at ease by posting photos and updates from each visit. The one time I needed to contact him, he responded immediately. I will definitely use his services again. Thanks, Ryan!”

“Brandi is great! She is very communicative and is always on time. My two pups absolutely love her! She brightens their day when she comes over to give them a potty break during our long work hours. Our older dog has some health problems and she gives him his mid-day mediation. Their quality of life is so much better now that she’s a part of it!”
“We came back from our trip yesterday morning and both of the kitties are waiting by the front door for Janey to come back. I’m so glad she accepted our request because the care and love that Vasquez and Hicks received was phenomenal. Hicks can be pretty temperamental and I’m pretty sure he’s in love with her forever! I highly, highly recommend Janey and we’re already planning to book with again! <3”

About: Born & raised around dogs and cats. I understand how important they are & how they’re family more than anything. I’ve taken care of dogs from German Shepard’s to Labradors to Miniature Poodles etc. I’ve taken care of older dogs who need to take medicine and younger dogs who need to be house trained. Seen it all! I go on walks throughout the day & make sure food & water & temperature is all good. I work very close to home, so I am able to come home for lunch if necessary. Activity outside is just as important for animals as it is for humans. I live close to a fenced dog park & take toys with me for playtime!!

About: Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s what I love. I’ve spent years working hands-on with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I truly believe every animal deserves patience, respect, and individualized care. From energetic puppies and shy rescues to senior pets who need a gentler touch, I’m experienced in adapting my care to each pet’s unique needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of reliable care. I’m primarily available during the morning and early afternoon, which allows me to provide attentive, unrushed visits that fit well with pets’ daily routines. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and relaxed. I follow your pet’s established routine closely—feeding, playtime, litter or potty care, medications, and quiet companionship—so their day feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I treat your home with respect, keep spaces clean and tidy, and take time to make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for. Thoughtful attention and reliable updates are always part of my in‑home care.
“We’ve been using Lyndi for a couple years now — always super reliable and takes such good care of our “old lady” (almost 18YO cat). Highly recommended if you need someone to watch your fur babies!”

“Sarai is amazing! She took such great care of Stitch while I was away. I love that she sent daily updates with photos of my lil guy! I highly recommend her and I will definitely be using her for future bookings!”

I am a master's student at UH so I am on campus during most of the day on weekdays for class and research but I am typically available in evenings and on the weekends with notice. I am happy to take care of your pets however you prefer. It's your pet and your home so the ball is in your court!
“Malia was great! We felt very comfortable having her drop in for a visit with our dog for an hour to walk feed and play with him. We will for sure use Malia again! Thank you!”

“Sydney is amazing with my little princess. In addition to being a natural with animals, she's very responsive, proactively communicating with me from start to finish. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.”

“Amalia continues to be the best dog sitter in Aspen for our fur babies. She is always quick to respond to our care requests and stays in great communication throughout the visits too. We are so grateful to have Amalia’s help.”

About: Growing up I helped take care of my family and friends dogs and cats, and I started with rover a little over a year ago. I am currently taking classes at Hawai’i Pacific University and have a lot of down time between classes and on weekends and I am looking for a part-time job to make some money for school. I have a leash that works for all sizes of dogs. I will bring treats with me and I will provide poop bags for walks.
About: I’m a lifelong dog and cat lover with four cats of my own, and I grew up in a home filled with both dogs and cats. I’m very active and enjoy taking long walks, playing at parks, and spending quality time with pets. I understand how important it is for cats and dogs to get the attention and care they need, and I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am currently between jobs, and the government furlough has delayed the start of my new job. Because of this, I am searching for alternative income. I have a very open and accommodating schedule and am able to work when you need me to. I am a very attentive pet owner. I make sure that my pets are loved and cared for. They always have a clean-living environment with food, water, and the amenities they need. I am sensitive to animals and their needs and will make sure that your pet gets the attention and care they need.
About: Growing up, my family always had at least one dog, but there was even a time we had 4 dogs and several puppies to take care of all at once, too! (Plus my sister and I convinced our parents to get a cat!... I'm sure they felt a little out numbered..) I was in charge of making sure the pets were properly fed, had fresh water, and of course that they got to see a little more of the world on their daily walk or occasional run...I am pretty active, so if you feel your pup needs a little extra movement and would like to run, I am open to all their needs! I am here to listen to your wants and concerns for your animal and am here to help! I am open to caring for dogs of all types, size, ages, and stages. I've helped take care of everything from a few second old newborn pup to nursing momma to an old dog that has all the tricks. Here in Hawai'i, I have not been able to have a pet myself (not an optimal space, or not allowed), so I thought it would be a great opportunity to help others like you take care of their furry friends!!! :) My schedule is currently open for anytime to care for your special animals! In the near future, anytime in the mornings (great time for a cool walk while we go into the hot summer!) or late evenings will be my optimal time to assist and take care of your furry friends, but I will of course communicate and update my availability when the time comes. I am free on the weekends anytime, so if you need someone to check in on your pup while on your weekend getaway, I am there for you! :) I will care for your animals likes and needs as YOU see fit. I believe pets are family and deserve just as much of a healthy happy life as we do! And though I hope to be somewhat a part of your pets daily life, there's no one that knows them like you! I will take your guidance of their usual routine and activity, plus any notes of their personality to make sure your fur babies are getting the best routine and care suitable for them!

About: Aloha! I’m Ayla, a lifetime dog and cat lover. I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and always had the responsibility of feeding, potty breaks, walking, and grooming my fur baby’s! I’d love to help look after your pets and I will always make sure your pet is properly taken care of while providing lots of cute photos. I’m currently working part time and am a student - but I make plenty of time for furry friends! I do most school work from home so your pet will always be in good company. My schedule is flexible and can accept requests on short notice! I live in an apartment, it’s a quiet, cozy environment for your furry friend. No yard ensures constant dedicated walks and indoor play. Safe and cozy home for small/medium pups!
“Absolutely amazing. Claudia helped us with drop-in visits to feed and care for our cat, Kara. She was trustworthy, responsible, attentive, communicative, and caring. Kara is normally very shy and doesn’t like new people, but she went right up to Claudia and clearly enjoyed her company! Knowing Claudia was there to take care of our cat/home made it so much easier to enjoy our vacation. Wonderful first experience.”

Honolulu cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie did an excellent job caring for my cat while I was on vacation. She is very easy to work with, positive, adaptable, and loves caring for cats. She sent me daily photos which reassured me that my cat was doing well. I will be using her again in the future, and highly recommend her to other cat owners.

Nea made everything about going away and leaving my kitties ao much easier for me. She was attentive and responsive daily which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy time away without worry. I got daily updates and photos and I looked forward to that every day. I've booked Nea multiple times already and would not hesitate to recommend her. She is exactly what you want in a pet sitter.

I highly recommend booking Janey. She is incredible! She loves animals and will make sure your pet is well cared for. Thank you so much for taking care of my cats, Canelo and Lio (even though they were up to no good some days lol). You will definitely be my first choice if I need to find a sitter through Rover again. You made my vacation stress-free, knowing that they were being taken care of.

Liana and Wilbur are so amazing! Our cats can be very weary of new folks, yet they were able to make them feel comfortable in such a short time! They make a great effort every visit to make sure the cats get played with, fed, water, litter, and are completely taken care of and loved!

Maya did an outstanding job watching my oftentimes temperamental orange cat. She arrived at the agreed upon times, kept me updated via the Rover Cards, and even got Marmalade to drink his water from the faucet. When I returned my place was neat and tidy as well.

Victoria was a great sitter for my 2 cats! She was quick to respond and very accommodating even with a short-notice request. My female cat is very shy around strangers, but I could see from the photos that Victoria took that my girl became comfortable with her rather quickly. I am satisfied with the care that she gave them as they were in good spirits when I came back home. 😊

He is absolutely awesome! This was my first time hiring a pet sitter while I was away, and he went above and beyond from the very beginning. He stopped by the day before my trip so we could go over everything in person, which immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. During my trip, he kept me updated with photos and detailed messages, which I truly appreciated. He even took the initiative to replace the battery in my smoke detector when it started making a loud noise and caused my cats to hide under the bed ... That level of care really meant a lot to me. My cats were clearly very comfortable with him and seemed happy and relaxed the entire time. If I ever need a pet sitter again, I will definitely be asking him for help. Highly recommend!

Monica was a fantastic sitter! It was our first time using rover so naturally we were nervous but Monica went above and beyond to ensure we had peace of mind. She provided excellent care (showed up on time, played with our cats, was vigilant of potential hazards) and made sure our cats were comfortable with her (as they are usually quite anxious). Monica is obviously a natural and well experienced with animals, I would 100% trust her to oversee my pets’ care again. Thank you so much for the 10/10 service🧡
