“Josie is amazing! She takes great care of our puppy Oscar during their 30 minute play sessions, always posts super detailed visit summaries, and takes loads of cute pics of Oscar. I’ll definitely request her again!”
“Caroline was absolutely amazing with our fur baby Cheeb! 🐾 From the very beginning she was responsive, reliable, and so kind. She took great care of him making sure he was well-fed, had fresh water, and got plenty of love and attention. I felt so comfortable knowing he was in her hands while we were away. She even went above and beyond helping with little things around the house, which we really appreciated. We came home to a happy and relaxed kitty, which says it all! I would 100% recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

“I utilized Theresa service once again and she did not disappoint. I really appreciate her being diligent with the care and service she provides. I love reading the Rover card as well as viewing the photos. Theresa is very detailed and I like that. Thank you again for the care you provided for my cat. It's certainly appreciated.”

“Lily is great with my girls! Great communication, and she even did a mini photo shoot with them for Christmas which was so sweet. You can tell she really cares about the pets she watches. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: As a professional hypnotherapist specializing in emotional trauma, I bring a calm, empathetic presence to pet care. Combined with my nannying background and experience raising three dogs from puppy (2 Bullterriers & 1 Staffordshire mix) and currently caring for my recently adopted 1.5 year old female doberman, I create a balanced environment perfect for soothing anxious pets, and caring for dogs of all ages I am currently building my business and have plenty of flexible home office time, so there is lots of time and opportunity to go for walks and play time. Our home is roomy & secure and I can fit a small to medium crate if needed. We have lots of walkways and I love to go take dog for beach walks or easy hikes when I can

“So so so nice! She was super quick to respond and came in clutch when someone else canceled. She communicated a lot and went above and beyond to make sure my pup was taken care of! I would definitely book with her again!”

“Brandi is great! She is very communicative and is always on time. My two pups absolutely love her! She brightens their day when she comes over to give them a potty break during our long work hours. Our older dog has some health problems and she gives him his mid-day mediation. Their quality of life is so much better now that she’s a part of it!”

About: Plenty of love to go around in my home, so plenty of space for snuggles and friends. All sizes and ages welcome, cats and dogs! I am a retired veteran, SAHM, so plenty of time/space. My home is well equipped for animals and rather large. The cat we own also stays in my room. No one will be assisting me with care. We have a fenced in backyard. Separated upstairs and downstairs, as well as gates for important areas. We also have a car AND truck for transport.
“Jamie was so attentive to my boys, I was able to go on my trip with ease knowing my boys were well taken care of!! She provided daily updates and pictures and was always great at communicating which is huge for me. I highly recommend her!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I had a really good experience. Ryan was great with putting me at ease by posting photos and updates from each visit. The one time I needed to contact him, he responded immediately. I will definitely use his services again. Thanks, Ryan!”

“Veronica took a very good care of our 2 cats. Our pets were happy. One of them even accepted her and spent time on her lap. Veronica followed our peculiar instructions, and we are very happy with her service.”
“Rebecca is amazing! She takes such wonderful care of all our beloved pets; and always keeps us informed of all our animals with pictures, videos, and notes while we are away. It puts us at ease knowing our pets have such attentive care while we are away.”

Kristina has helped take care of my senior cat twice and has been great both times! She was available even on short notice the second time. I have a hard time leaving my cat and worry a lot, but Kristina’s photos and updates during each visit make me feel much better. Very communicative throughout as well. I know my kitty is in good hands as her knowledge and care for animals is evident - she was even able to administer my cat’s medications while we were gone. I am so happy to have found someone I can trust and would recommend Kristina to anyone looking for care!

I had The greatest Rover experience ever with Rebecca and the quality of care she showed for my 4 kitties! I had never left my kitties before so I was very nervous about the whole process but Rebecca made sure my kitties were all loved, taken care of, and most of all I felt so relaxed on my vacation knowing my cats were all in the best hands! I even have a very shy timid kitty that never comes out when people are over and by the 4th day she was out of hiding and accepting pets! 100% will be using Rebecca again for all my pet sitting needs! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Rebecca for loving my babies as much as I do!

Tamah went above and beyond for our cats. One of our pets was put on emergency antibiotics days before our trip was scheduled. Tamah did an amazing job making sure she was given her medicine daily and sent us lots of updates. I would absolutely have her back! 10/10!

Taylor was so amazing with our boys! They welcomed her from the get-go, including our shy boy. I didn't have to worry at all. She provided pics for updates, which was a plus! She went above and beyond for what I expected. I would have her pet-sit in a heartbeat again. 🤗 thank you so much, Taylor. 😄

He is absolutely awesome! This was my first time hiring a pet sitter while I was away, and he went above and beyond from the very beginning. He stopped by the day before my trip so we could go over everything in person, which immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. During my trip, he kept me updated with photos and detailed messages, which I truly appreciated. He even took the initiative to replace the battery in my smoke detector when it started making a loud noise and caused my cats to hide under the bed ... That level of care really meant a lot to me. My cats were clearly very comfortable with him and seemed happy and relaxed the entire time. If I ever need a pet sitter again, I will definitely be asking him for help. Highly recommend!

This was our first time using TK to watch our 2 cats and we were very happy with the TLC she provided them in addition to other small things like watering our plants and keeping the house tidied up. She was always on time and left pictures after her visits in addition to keeping us apprised of other issues that came up. TK was very prompt in communicating with us and I'm so glad that we found her for our recent trip. We will 100% contact her again for our next trip as our cats already miss her!
Yumna is great. We always feel at ease while we are away knowing she is checking in on our boys. She provides thorough details on how they are doing and lots of pictures. Yumna also ensures that our place isn’t in disarray after we come back since our cats tend to cause chaos in the house while we are gone.

I highly recommend hiring Shiwa to take care of your pets when you're away. She put me at ease on my trip because I knew she was taking good care of my pets while we were gone. She was fantastic at providing updates and photos multiple times a day to reassure me that they were doing well. I would absolutely trust Shiwa to watch them again! My pets loved her as well! :)

Maile did a great job, followed our instructions perfectly, and left our place super clean (just like I had left it 10 days prior). She was responsive via text and sent daily photos of our two cats. I was wishing for more text updates during the check-ins, but was happy to have the pictures. No complaints and would definitely book Maile again, thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tripler Army Medical Center. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
