About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I was around 8 years old. I helped my senior dog when he couldn’t do things himself, as well as helped my relatives with their senior dogs. I’ve always been drawn to helping out animals, and not just dogs. I love all pets, no matter what size or age. About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. About: We have two very friendly dogs for your pets to play with here at our house! We have a fenced back yard and water available 24/7. I work a flexible shift Tuesday-Thursday and work close on base. I am able to be here for the pets most the time and also come home for lunch. I have water available 24/7 for our pets, I provide frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day, plenty of toys for all the dogs, and they’re allowed in furniture.

We had such a wonderful experience with Shalyn! She took amazing care of our two dogs and our cat while we were traveling off island, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. One of our dogs is very anxious around new people and can sometimes be reactive toward both people and other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving him. From the initial meet and greet, though, Shalyn was patient, calm, and wonderful with him. He warmed up to her right away, which is incredibly rare and gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout our trip, Shalyn was incredibly communicative and sent us lots of photos and videos, which we always looked forward to. Andrés is the best sitter, hands down! While I've had Andrés housesit before, it was only for a night, but this time, he housesat for 5 nights.
