About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. I currently live in dorm housing where animals are not allowed but for care inside client homes I will keep a watchful eye when letting your pet out and pay close attention to instructions.

“It’s always hard to leave a family member home with a sitter. Janey is different. She cares for your pet as a member of her family. I’ve met Janey a few times before leaving on my 4 night trip. I started with a meet and greet. Then I scheduled a 4 hour house visit. So by my scheduled trip I knew that Colbie would be comfortable with her. I had a few “asks” of her during the stay and she fulfilled them up to my expectations. I knew after the first night that I didn’t need to get pictures and updates from her. About: I’ve been helping take care of friends’ and neighbors’ dogs for years. For the past 6 years, I have also had a labradoodle of my own. Taking care of him has provided me with a lot of learning opportunities. As a result, I am great with puppies, training, administering medicine, and anything else your dog might need! I have a part time job, but I only work three hours a day from 5 am-8 am, and not at all on weekends. Other than that, I am completely free. In September I will begin University classes but they are interspersed throughout the day, leaving me fully able to walk, feed, and play with your dog multiple times a day, all throughout the day! We had such a wonderful experience with Shalyn! She took amazing care of our two dogs and our cat while we were traveling off island, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. One of our dogs is very anxious around new people and can sometimes be reactive toward both people and other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving him. From the initial meet and greet, though, Shalyn was patient, calm, and wonderful with him. He warmed up to her right away, which is incredibly rare and gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout our trip, Shalyn was incredibly communicative and sent us lots of photos and videos, which we always looked forward to. It was obvious from all the updates how comfortable our pets were with her. Seeing how much the dogs played with her, sought her out, and interacted with her made it clear they genuinely enjoyed having her there. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets, and we’re so grateful for the excellent care she provided. Andrés is the best sitter, hands down! While I've had Andrés housesit before, it was only for a night, but this time, he housesat for 5 nights. Pawson is so comfortable with Andrés because he takes such good care of him. Andrés followed all instructions to a tee, and he left things tidy.
