“Michelle handled my two large dogs (one with severe anxiety) like a champ! She is so loving and patient with them and excellent with communication. We will definitely be working with her again.”

“Lehua took good care of our house and dogs while we were away. She was very neat and prompt with communication. We got daily updates/pictures to put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. I currently live in dorm housing where animals are not allowed but for care inside client homes I will keep a watchful eye when letting your pet out and pay close attention to instructions.
“Josh is the best with our husky Roxy! We went away for an extended period for the first time since getting our dog and were nervous to leave her since she can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. Josh took special care to make sure Roxy was at ease. He followed all of her care instructions perfectly and sent wonderful photos of their walks along with detailed updates. His passion for working with animals enabled him to build a strong bond with Roxy quickly and we could tell she was so happy to have him as a new friend. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Roxy was so well taken care of while we were away. We highly recommend Josh :)!”

“Alessandra is the GOAT! I was naturally a bit anxious about a stranger staying in my house, but she completely blew those worries away. Her energy is 10/10!! She is sweet, genuine, and incredibly loving toward my dog Tito! We started this booking as strangers and ended it as great friends. If you can snag a spot on her calendar, DO IT. She is a total gem and an absolute professional!”

“Janey is an absolute gem! She recently cared for our beloved cat, Davey, while we were away, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her service. From the start, she was incredibly punctual and followed through on every commitment she made. Janey ensured Davey was well-groomed, kept her food and litter box impeccably clean, and maintained a consistent routine, which gave us such peace of mind. We especially appreciated the frequent updates—Janey sent us multiple photos and videos, keeping us informed and reassured. Her sincerity and honesty were evident in every interaction, and her genuine love for animals shone through. My husband and I are so grateful to have found someone as kind-hearted and reliable as Janey. We felt completely at ease knowing Davey was in her care. I wholeheartedly recommend Janey to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter. Once you meet her you will know she’s the right fit! Thank you Janey for all that you did! We love you!”

“Amazing , amazing , amazing! Liz was so sweet and wonderful with Lily and her new litter of 8! She was so accommodating and watched my babies during the night so I could get some sleep as well. 🙏Couldn’t recommend anyone else! Will be booking her again for my house sitting needs and you should too!”
“Colleen was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. She was incredibly flexible with our schedule and consistently attentive, patient, and loving toward our pups. She truly went above and beyond by taking them on hikes, giving them plenty of walks, and making sure all of their individual needs were met so they stayed happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Her attention to detail really stood out, especially since she gave one of our dogs medication and made sure it was administered correctly. What also meant so much to us was her communication. Colleen provided daily check-ins and updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away from home. It was clear how much she genuinely cared about our dogs, and we felt completely confident knowing they were in such great hands. We would absolutely recommend Colleen to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and dedicated dog sitter, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

About: 🌺 Aloha! I’m Elizabeth. If your dog could plan their own vacation, they’d probably ask for personalized attention, adventures tailored to their personality, plenty of affection, and someone who genuinely enjoys their company. That’s exactly how I approach pet care. I don’t believe every dog needs the same experience. Some want long walks and stimulation. Others want a calm companion, a cozy nap spot, and reassurance that their people are coming home. My job is to learn who your dog is and create an experience that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Raised in a dog grooming family, with pre-veterinary studies and years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. You’ll also receive the kind of photo and video updates that make you smile while you’re away. My goal isn’t simply to watch your dog. It’s for them to be genuinely excited to see me again. I run a small business and am regularly in the ocean as part of my lifestyle so I am flexible to accommodate your pets needs both physically and emotionally to give them the upmost love and attention. Your pets safety is my TOP priority. Your pet will be indoors with all doors locked and only be leashed when outside to go potty and on walks. Otherwise they will have access to their dog bed or my couch or my former Great Dane’s Temperpedic bed with a feather duvet & air conditioning with music or TV. They will be absolutely spoiled as I’m still heartbroken at the passing of my own beloved Great Dane.
“Thank you so much to Rebecca! She watches our cats with the utmost care and love. She’s sends the best updates and gets the cutest pictures of our little babies. She is quick to communicate and super flexible with our crazy schedule too! The best!”

“Ryan is excellent. He really knows how to interact with dogs. He is prompt and communicative. And we recieived great photos of our pup every day we were gone. We will continue to book Ryan as our dog sitter!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a teen. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing my own dog grow from a puppy to senior. I have experience with adapting to each dog’s individual needs and with caring for senior pets. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with dog-sitting and walking. I love getting to know each dog’s personality and learning how to keep them engaged and happy! I’m currently working part time, so I am available on weekends and some weekdays for dog sitting. Weekday afternoons are usually best, and my weekends are typically open. I take the time to get to know each dog at their pace. It’s a top priority for your pet to feel safe and comfortable!
About: Aloha and welcome to Rover! 🌺 I am animal lover that grew up with black labs and cats and I absolutely adore them. I was a former top dog walker with Wag!, winning dozens of badges and accolades. I have 8+ years of pet care experience, specializing in walks and overnight house sitting. Your pup can expect an energizing walk and a full on staycation spa treatment when I stay with them. Inclusive all the good treats and pup cups, daily walks and hikes, and car rides and beach trips if that’s your dog’s thing. Please reach out for additional information and availability. I look forward to connecting and taking care of your fur baby! I can work remotely and be available on weekdays for sittings. I am available on the weekends and for overnight house sitting. I cannot board pups at my house at this time. Following instructions and attention to detail is so important. I love to treat the dogs when I dog sit like we’re all on vacation with long morning walks, pup cup from Starbucks, snuggles, movies, music, and treats. I treat your house like my own and am an absolute clean freak!
About: I’ve always loved animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, cleaning up after pets, and following any special instructions. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their furry family members are safe, so I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and can provide dependable pet care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, overnight care, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. I always make sure pets receive plenty of exercise, playtime, love, and consistent care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and routines to help your pet feel at ease. I’ll keep your home clean and secure, provide regular updates with photos, and treat your pet with the same love and attention I would give my own.
“Thank you to Sulamita for watching Benjamin and Maple. We have two dogs that have very different personalities, one of them is reactive to other dogs, very guarded and cautious of strangers so we were worried about how he would do with someone new but Sulamita was able to get him to warm up to her within a few days. The other dog is a shy and nervous girl, but she is easy to win over so we weren't worried about her. She stayed with our dogs overnight for ever a week in house and she kept our house like we left it, kept up our dogs routine like picking up poop, bathroom/potty breaks, giving the dogs their daily supplements, and took out our trash bins as we requested. We very much appreciated it! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with her service as she communicated well, followed our instructions, asked questions to make sure she was doing the right thing, and treated our babies with love and respect. We would love to continue to go with her again for any future services until the next journey in her life. Thank you so much Sulamita for taking care of our babies, we are so happy to know that they were being cared for without any worries. Please don't hesitate to book with Sulamita, you can trust your fur babies are in good hands!”

“Sam & Solene are absolute *dream* pet/home sitters. They are so kind, communicative, and professional. We didn't worry once while we were away and we came home to very happy and calm pets. They also left our house SO clean. They really go above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found them for future pet/house sits! Thank you, Sam & Solene! 🌺”

“We used Veronica to house sit and to watch our cat and dog. Veronica communicate with us daily about our animals and sent us pictures. She was super friendly and listened to all of our needs in taking care of our animals. I would recommend Veronica and definitely will be using her again to watch our animals.”

“Motomi provided exceptional care for my 12-year-old fur baby, Sammie, during my recent trip. Given Sammie’s age and need for daily medication, I appreciated Motomi’s attentiveness and the tender love she showed. She regularly sent photo and video updates upon request and was proactive in addressing any questions or concerns. Initially hesitant to welcome a stranger into my home, I was relieved when Motomi followed my instructions and even tidied up before leaving. I will definitely reach out to her again for future pet-sitting needs.”

We had such a wonderful experience with Shalyn! She took amazing care of our two dogs and our cat while we were traveling off island, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. One of our dogs is very anxious around new people and can sometimes be reactive toward both people and other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving him. From the initial meet and greet, though, Shalyn was patient, calm, and wonderful with him. He warmed up to her right away, which is incredibly rare and gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout our trip, Shalyn was incredibly communicative and sent us lots of photos and videos, which we always looked forward to. It was obvious from all the updates how comfortable our pets were with her. Seeing how much the dogs played with her, sought her out, and interacted with her made it clear they genuinely enjoyed having her there. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets, and we’re so grateful for the excellent care she provided. We look forward to booking Shalyn again for future sittings and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter!

Andrés is the best sitter, hands down! While I've had Andrés housesit before, it was only for a night, but this time, he housesat for 5 nights. Pawson is so comfortable with Andrés because he takes such good care of him. Andrés followed all instructions to a tee, and he left things tidy. Andrés was communicative throughout my trip, sending updates regularly. Best of all, Andrés made sure that my Pawson was comfortable and active, relieving his stress. I'm so grateful for Andrés, and Pawson will definitely be seeing him regularly! Mahalo, Andrés!

Hannah and Ian were fabulous with my lil Hela while I was away for 3 days. They were very open minded and helpful from the very beginning. I highly recommend them to take care of anyone's pet. They made sure Hela was well fed and cared for and even sent me pics along the way. Thanks Hannah & Ian!

Sofiya did a long stretch of house and cat sitting for me. She is clearly a warm hearted animal lover. I appreciated her willingness to take on the care of my cat in declining health. She went out of her way to care for him and to keep me updated. The house was kept neat and clean. I would hire her again without any hesitation.

Claire was outstanding in every way caring for our two large dogs and our home. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed being with them, and we couldn't ask for more than that. She was interested and enthusiastic about learning their normal routines, sent us many text, photo and video updates, and also took amazing care of our home and plants. It was such a relief to know that our dogs were so well loved while we were away. She made sure they got all the exercise they're used to, the special dietary needs met, and most of all the cuddles that they crave. We will request her again and again!

Brian was wonderful with Romulus, my senior dog, especially while we were traveling and staying somewhere new. He arrived early, communicated clearly, and shared great updates and photos throughout the evening, which I really appreciated as a hands-on pet parent. When the power went out, Brian stayed calm, comforted Romulus, and kept me informed the entire time. His steady presence and care gave me total peace of mind. He’s reliable, kind, and clearly great with senior dogs. I would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him.

Aaron was absolutely fantastic taking care of our three pups. They all looked happy, relaxed, and very content when we came back from our trip. Aaron sent us pictures and gave us updates on how our pups were doing. He even cleaned our home and left us a tub of ice cream in the freezer, which we so appreciated after 24 hours of travel. We would definitely ask Aaron to pet-sit for us if we go on another trip.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Tripler Army Medical Center on Rover is $52.73 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 1,040 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Tripler Army Medical Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Tripler Army Medical Center walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Tripler Army Medical Center maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tripler Army Medical Center choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
