My family got our first dog when I was 7 years old and I have always been involved in her care, from training her as a puppy to crating, walking, feeding, playing, and administering medicine when she was near the end of her life. I have housesit for neighbors to watch their pets as well as drop in visits. I have experience with a wide range of dog sizes, breeds, and ages.

I am a loving, patient, gentle person who enjoys playing with dogs and cats and going for walks. I unfortunately cannot board your pet in my home but I am respectful of other people’s homes and would be honored to help care for your pets.

Claire was outstanding in every way caring for our two large dogs and our home. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed being with them, and we couldn't ask for more than that. She was interested and enthusiastic about learning their normal routines, sent us many text, photo and video updates, and also took amazing care of our home and plants. It was such a relief to know that our dogs were so well loved while we were away. She made sure they got all the exercise they're used to, the special dietary needs met, and most of all the cuddles that they crave. We will request her again and again!
So so grateful we booked Claire! She house sat and watched our two dogs while we were traveling. From the moment I met her, I knew she'd be a great fit. My dogs took to her immediately. She was respectful to our home and kept it clean. She walked our dogs multiple times despite the rain and was mindful to one of my dog's injuries and limitations. She administered medication and sent lots of updates and pictures/videos. I know my dogs were happy under her care. I will 100% rebook with Claire and recommend her!

Claire has taken care of our dog and two cats many times over the years. She is extremely responsible, has very clear communication and such a happy demeanor. The animals adore her when she comes. She always keeps us updated on who the animals are doing. Claire has done both drop in care and house sitting. When we come home - the animals are happy, the house is spotless and everything well cared for. Claire is a terrific person, completely trustworthy and we highly recommend her!
Claire has a strong love of animals and has owned and cared for fish, cats, birds and dogs. Claire is energetic and engaging no matter the species. Animals love her. Claire was particuly involved in the training of two large breed dogs - crate training, potty training, and leash training. Claire also has eperience with senior animals that require special and tender care. Claire is a dependable choice for keeping pets on a schedule and from boredom.

Schedule
I currently work full time in Kāne`ohe as a marine biologist but am really missing pets in my life as my landlord does not allow them. I get off work at 3pm and am available for morning/afternoon drop ins or can be with them full time on the weekends.
