“Tracey and her mom were great! This was the first time my Chihuahua stayed with anyone besides me and he is shy and generally scared of other people and animals. Due to a last minute family issue we had to fly to the mainland for a week. Tracey was kind and reassuring and sent pictures of Toby everyday. She made the process much less stressful and I know Toby was well cared for while we were gone. “I really appreciated how understanding Haily was with my pup meeting her pups. After a little communication here and there, she was eager to have a meet and greet with my pup and hers. My bigger pup was a little shy and unsure about it at first meet. After he arrived for his week long stay, he started getting along better. She'd sent me evening updates about my pups wellbeing with text and pictures. With thise notifications, I was able to give some helpful ideas on how to get him to eat since he was feeling homesick. He did hurt his leg while he was there, but with him being very active, he just over extended his leg while playing, and she notified me and helped him out as best as possible. He's doing well now and glad his overall experience was a great one! I'm gonna choose Haily for our next pup-sitter, when the time comes!”

“After my last river sister moved away, I was a apprehensive about someone else watching Thumper. Hailey and Benjamin made everything easy from the first meet and great, slowly introducing their dogs one at a time and then letting them all roam around their yard, to the first drop off. Thumper was a bit nervous when he was dropped off, but slowly calmed down and enjoyed himself there. Everything made me calm down as well. I got a check-in update and lots of pictures. I am excited for his next visit and glad I found someone that both Thumper and I are both comfortable with!!!!”

Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

I am mindful when opening and closing doors, crating your doggie securely (if that’s their routine), being attentive while their playing to make sure they aren’t ingesting anything that isn’t their kibble, and most importantly reporting back to you if I notice anything unusual with your fur baby.

About: Hi I’m Shay and I’ve been taking care of animals since I was very young from family dogs to neighbors pets (dogs, cats, iguanas, Guinea pigs, rats, bunnies). Before I joined the military I started my own dog walking/dog sitting business in Southern California that I ran for several years. We are also available most holidays as well. When your pet is in our care we will do our best to keep your pets schedule as close to how it normally is at home to ease any stress. We live in an apartment and have a dog of our own that loves playing with other dogs! Though we don’t have a yard we have lots of areas to go for nice long walks and lots of grassy spots for potty breaks. With your permission we can also take your dog to the dog park or other places for adventures.
