About: I have always had a dog present since I was born. With that I have always wanted to build a strong connection with them. This includes belly rubs, giving treats, going for walks/venturing, or playing with doggy toys. I am currently working a part-time job and typically available at the beginning of the week. I do sometimes pick up shifts but I am pretty flexible with my time. During my days off I will have a plethora of time for your pets to keep company for a walk or being social. I often times like to match a pets energy. If they need some play time, I will be more than happy to give them needed attention. If they would like to have a more chill day, we can go for a nice calm walk or just relax outside on the grass.

About: I've had a dog ever since I was about 6 years old. I'm just turned 25 so that's just about 20 years of experience! I've started pet sitting and housesitting when I was 15 years old. I have taken care of all kinds of breeds from goldens, to herding dogs, and (my personal faves) bully breeds. I can work with all types of temperaments and energy levels :) I am currently serving active duty in the Marine Corps, so my days can look quite different, which is why I prefer weekends. During the week days I have PT starting at 5:30AM and don’t get off of work until 4:30. However I do have a 2 hour window during lunch from 11-1, but that is not always guaranteed. On the weekends I am completely open! I go to church on Sundays but other than that I am available. For overnights I prefer to come to the house at least a day in advance in order to see where everything is and what set up the pet(s) have. During the stay I try my best to send updates with pictures to ensure the pet owner is kept in the loop on a daily basis!

So, she missed out on the intricate details of each dog and their behavior. But, she was caring and professional and did what was required. Also left the house so clean and even vacuumed! During the stay we gave her some tips to control one of our anxious dogs. She followed the instructions and made the rest of the visit much better. I would definitely recommend her.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and other pets my entire life and currently have a husky of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with lots of energy, strong personalities, and specific routines. Having a husky has given me plenty of experience with daily exercise, long walks, basic training, grooming, and keeping an energetic dog happy and stimulated. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including both younger, high-energy dogs and older dogs who need a little more patience and attention. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and adapting to each pet’s normal routine. As a former EMT and current PA student, I’m attentive to changes in behavior or health and comfortable staying calm if something unexpected happens. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I’ll be on Oʻahu from October 18th through November 14th for one of my medical school clinical rotations in Kailua. During that time, I’ll have a fairly consistent clinical schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my mornings and evenings. I’ll be available for feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention before and after my rotation each day, as well as more flexibility on my days off. Since I’ll be staying locally for the entire month, I’m also happy to work with your pet’s usual routine as much as possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and try to keep each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and any house rules. I’m very mindful about keeping doors, gates, and yards secure, especially with pets that like to explore or make a run for it. I’ll also keep your home clean and tidy, bring in packages or mail, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how things are going. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have for your pet or home.

About: Aloha! I’m Morgana, a longtime Oʻahu local, lifelong animal lover, and someone who’s generally happiest around animals, the ocean, or both! I have a degree in Marine Science from UH Mānoa and have spent years working and volunteering with animal care and conservation organizations here in Hawaiʻi and abroad. Animals have always been a big part of my life, whether they’re furry, feathered, or swimming in the ocean. I’ve also spent time working in a veterinary setting, which has taught me to pay attention to the little things, like changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, or energy.
