About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with a Maltese who was my best friend, and since then I've been the go to dog sitter for friends and family. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including Huskies, Border Collies, Poodles, Shiba Inus, and many more. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and tend to treat them like my own kids. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or keeping them company while you're away, I'll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I work from home so I'm pretty flexible. The earlier we communicate the more flexibility I have. Typically more available in the afternoons and evenings I know leaving your dog with someone else can feel a little nerve wracking, so I'll do my best to make it easy for both you and your pup! Whether I'm stopping by for a visit, taking them on a walk, or staying overnight, I'll follow their usual routine and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and getting lots of love while you're away.

Penny usually barks at new people but she didn’t bark once at Kaitlyn which is when I knew that Kaitlyn was perfect for Penny. She was able to get close and feel at ease. She did an amazing job at watching Penny and kept me updated with texts and pictures throughout the day which was amazing and reassured me that my dog was given love and care the whole time. “My dog is on five different types of medications to address her irritable bowel and her arthritis. The doses cannot be missed and have to be administered on a strict schedule. Over the years, my dog has learned how to hide the pills in her mouth then spit them out when you’re not looking. If she misses her medications - especially the ones for irritable bowel - she gets sick very quickly and will get diarrhea. Sometimes violent and frequent diarrhea. So I was quite nervous about leaving her with people who weren’t familiar with her issues and her tricks. But Karen and Tony handled her like pros. How do I know? Because I came home to a healthy dog who showed no signs of having missed any meds. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my Coco. Oh, and bonus, they are respectful sitters who left my home just as I had left it. They even laundered the sheets! Thank you, Karen and Tony, for caring for Coco and letting me enjoy my trip without worry. They are pros.”
About: Aloha, I’m Kawehi! I’m new to Rover, but not new to caring for animals. I’ve had 7 cats & 2 dogs of my own through the course of my life, and I’ve fostered several kitten litters from 2021-2022. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets taught me that every animal has a unique personality, needs patience, and deserves kindness and respect. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs who require extra patience, attention, and gentle care. Friends and family have also entrusted me to care for their pets while they're away, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I volunteered at a farm animal sanctuary on Oʻahu, where I helped care for a variety of rescued animals. I’ve also help to fabricate and fit animals with prosthetic legs and braces from my work experience as a Clinical Prosthetist/Orthotist at UCLA Medical Center and Shriners Children’s Hospital in Honolulu.
