“Alexis is the best! She took excellent care of our cat Vinny and was constantly sending pictures and updating us! We are so grateful she was able to watch him for over 8 days! We felt very relieved our baby boy was in great hands. Thank you!!”

“Aiyana house sat for us watching our three dogs for 4 days and I am very pleased with her service. We came home to a clean house, and happy doggos. She was very responsive to any questions I had or check ins. I would recommend her, and would book with her again.”

About: 🌺 I will be on hiatus July-August for surgery and recovery🌺 I bring over 10 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including more than 5 years as a kennel assistant and 5 years as a veterinary assistant. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve developed strong skills in administering medications, including insulin and asthma treatments. My time in a veterinary hospital has also given me valuable experience working with animals of all temperaments, allowing me to stay calm, patient, and attentive in any situation. I’m a full-time pet sitter, which means your pet gets my complete time, attention, and care. I’m dedicated to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved, and that their time with me is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I have 5 years of veterinary medical experience and feel confident providing a wide range of care for pets of all needs—from those requiring more involved medical support to those who simply need extra love and cuddles. I take cleanliness and safety seriously, thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing between each client to ensure a healthy, comfortable environment for your furry friend.
“Alice provided wonderful care to my dog and 2 cats. She went above and beyond from start to finish. The regular updates gave me complete peace of mind — it was clear our animals were happy, comfortable, and in great hands. She also treated my home with total respect. Everything was exactly as I left it when I returned. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. We will absolutely book her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and caring pet sitter.”

“Sam & Solene are absolute *dream* pet/home sitters. They are so kind, communicative, and professional. We didn't worry once while we were away and we came home to very happy and calm pets. They also left our house SO clean. They really go above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found them for future pet/house sits! Thank you, Sam & Solene! 🌺”

About: Aloha! I’m an active, outdoorsy pet lover who enjoys walks, fresh air, and keeping dogs happy and engaged. I’m comfortable with high energy dogs that need exercise as well as more laid back companions who just want attention and care. Safety and consistency are my priorities, and I stick closely to your pet’s routine. Expect regular updates and lots of happy photos! My experience goes far beyond cats and dogs 😁 I’m currently dedicating my life for happiness in Hawaii with my dog (Kiba). Our day starts with a long walk on the beach in Kailua followed by lunch and studying (sailing & mixology) at a park and while the pup rests and between services i go to the gym. I meal prep most days so i have plenty of time to take care of pets! I offer dependable, in home pet care so your pets can stay comfortable in the place they know best (their home). I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and needs, from high energy dogs that need exercise to more relaxed pets that just want attention and consistency. I’m attentive to details like medications, special diets, and behavior cues, and I always prioritize safety while I’m in your home. You can expect clear communication and regular updates with photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. I also treat your home with respect clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. My goal is simple happy pets, peace of mind for you.
“Alyson was lovely!! She really took care of my baby with a bunch of walks and snuggles. She constantly sent photos and I felt like Lincoln (our pup) was in the best of hands!! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!”

“My dog is on five different types of medications to address her irritable bowel and her arthritis. The doses cannot be missed and have to be administered on a strict schedule. Over the years, my dog has learned how to hide the pills in her mouth then spit them out when you’re not looking. If she misses her medications - especially the ones for irritable bowel - she gets sick very quickly and will get diarrhea. Sometimes violent and frequent diarrhea. So I was quite nervous about leaving her with people who weren’t familiar with her issues and her tricks. But Karen and Tony handled her like pros. How do I know? Because I came home to a healthy dog who showed no signs of having missed any meds. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my Coco. Oh, and bonus, they are respectful sitters who left my home just as I had left it. They even laundered the sheets! Thank you, Karen and Tony, for caring for Coco and letting me enjoy my trip without worry. They are pros.”

About: I’m a reliable and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on care for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and multi-pet households. I’ve completed stays ranging from a few days to over two weeks, and I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once while keeping each one safe, happy, and on routine. What sets me apart is my experience across all life stages—from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior pets who require gentle care, attentiveness, and consistency. Having cared for my own senior dog as well as others, I understand the extra level of compassion and awareness older pets need. I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and treating every pet like they’re my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, but I’m available for pet care in the evenings and fully open on weekends. I build pet visits into my daily routine after work and dedicate my weekends to providing attentive, flexible care. I provide attentive, reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine at all times. I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly how you left it while maintaining clear communication and updates you can trust. My goal is to create a calm, stress-free experience where both you and your pets feel completely at ease.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds for years and would love to be of service to someone who needs help on the weekends, early mornings, or evenings. I would be happy to sit and hang out with an elderly dog or take your active pup on a hike. When I’m not with your dog, I’m working at castle hospital, at the gym or doing photography. I work 8-4pm Monday to Friday so I’m open to early morning walks or evening check ins until 10pm. Open to flexible needs on the weekends and holiday coverage. I currently live with a husky so it would be best if I came to your home. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats so I can’t be around them but dogs are okay!
“Mita was amazing with my dogs and cats. They love her and she is so communicative and easy to work with. She really took such amazing care of my babies. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Ashley was great with our 4 month and 8 year old Goldendoodles while house sitting for us and even did so on short notice. Managing a puppy is never easy and she did a wonderful job. We came home to a clean house and felt the house was safe with Ashley staying in it. She kept us up to date with great photos while we were away too. Highly recommend Ashley for any dog walking or other sitting services !”

About: Since childhood I've had pets of all shapes and sizes. Let me care for your pet as you would do. They are ohana and deserve the very best! I'm currently working part-time and am home for the majority of time most days. Occasionally I do have to go into the office for 4 hour periods. I will visit or stay with your pet in your home. I will walk them as requested. Provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day. Clean drinking water will always remain accessible, and the feeding schedule will follow your directions. Leave me with clear instructions and I will make sure that they are safe, comfortable and happy while you are away.
“Jackie was an absolute amazing cat sitter to our girl Sushi! She immediately gave her so many great cuddles and made me feel so comfortable! I was off gird for several days when I was away, and came back to many amazing updates and photos of our kitty looking so relaxed and happy! I came back to a spotless house and really happy kitty :) will 100% work with Jackie again and highly recommended her!”

About: I’ve cared for friends and family dogs since 2020, offering boarding, sitting, and even basic training to keep pups happy and learning. I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Pup care fits easily into my daily routine since I currently have plenty of free time and love spending it with animals. I’m living on base and unemployed right now, so my schedule is very flexible — which means I can give pets my full attention for walks, playtime, and keeping them comfortable throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every walk is safe, fun and suited to their energy level. If your pup prefers staying cozy at home, I’m just as happy to play with them in their own comfort zone.
About: I have had pups my entire life. I am an absolute animal lover. We currently have 2 spoiled frenchies that love having playmates come over. We have a large fenced in yard so they get plenty of playtime outside as well. I am a personal trainer as well. I am home most of the day because my clients come to train in my home. When I do have to leave for something, someone is typically home. Our pups are rarely ever alone. We have a large fenced yard but also love to take walks if you pup likes to get out. Extremely detail oriented and responsible. I take care of our little visitors as I would someone in my family. I send plenty of updates and photos to ease your mind when away.
“Nancy did a great job taking care of our cats! She was very communicative and sent us lots of pictures/videos of them. It seemed like she treated them as her own. She was fantastic!”

About: I grew up with Great Pyrenees, Great Pyrenees/Border Collie, Australian Shepards mixes. I've walked, fed, brushed and played with these big dogs for more than a decade. The two Great Pyrenees sisters I currently help take care of have matured from 4 month old puppies to elderly ladies. I'm quite used to the typical arm jerk or pull that is often associated with walking big, enthusiastic dogs. I work during the day, but generally am up quite early and thus would be able to walk dog(s) before work. I am also quite flexible in terms of where I stay on Oahu and thus can easily incorporate dog sitting into my weekly routine. Alternatively, I have cared for large breeds in their owners homes in San Diego. I am extremely respectful of folks homes and belongings both in the context of pet care, as well as through AirBnB.
Marine Corps Base Hawaii pet parents share their Rover experiences
John was absolutely incredible with our 3 dogs (that range in age and size - 12 yr old Golden, 10 yr old Golden, 3 yr old mini-poodle)! He stayed the night while we were traveling allowing the pups to feel comfortable in their own home. He even sent pictures to us throughout the day. The pups had a blast!! He is a licensed veterinarian and an epidemiologist, which made us feel extra comfortable. He also agreed to an initial meeting with the pups before the booking. We will absolutely be using John again!
Aiyana was great with our little guy. It was our first time using Rover in Hawai’i. We saw that Aiyana lived nearby and her profile was sincere about working with pets. We only contacted her a few days before but she was able to come out quickly for a meet and greet with our dog. She was very prompt on the arrival date and was able to stay a little longer when we were delayed getting back home. We would definitely be using her again for in the future.

Ashley was great with our 4 month and 8 year old Goldendoodles while house sitting for us and even did so on short notice. Managing a puppy is never easy and she did a wonderful job. We came home to a clean house and felt the house was safe with Ashley staying in it. She kept us up to date with great photos while we were away too. Highly recommend Ashley for any dog walking or other sitting services !

Kayla was great with Choco and a very respectful guest in my home. She reassured me with photo updates and was also very prompt in responding to my request to book her services. Kayla was great at communicating which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her for caring for your fur baby!

Nicole is the best dog/house sitter we’ve ever had. We travel a fair bit and have struggled with finding someone we trust and who cares for our pups like we do. Nicole seems to GENUINELY love what she does. She has an amazing attitude, is a problem-solver, is responsible, kind, gracious, and our dogs love her. I’m impressed with her efforts to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our high energy dogs. She also cared for our home so well. Her communication is amazing! We are SO GRATEFUL. We hope Nicole is willing to come back! 🥰
