About: This is a very happy and loving home, and I have years of experience with animals and pet sitting. I have been part of a service dog organization for 8 years as a volunteer puppy raiser and now have a trained service dog who visits with me at Hospice, schools, etc. I also volunteered with Therapeutic horses and have been pet sitting around the world with TrustedHousesitters. I teach from home and spend all day with my dog. She is an 8-year-old Labradoodle and has amazing manners. I have a big yard and plenty of toys, and I also take at least one walk a day. I have a fenced-in, large yard with covered areas of shade. I always care for pets as if they were my own beloved family members.

“My dog is on five different types of medications to address her irritable bowel and her arthritis. The doses cannot be missed and have to be administered on a strict schedule. Over the years, my dog has learned how to hide the pills in her mouth then spit them out when you’re not looking. If she misses her medications - especially the ones for irritable bowel - she gets sick very quickly and will get diarrhea. Sometimes violent and frequent diarrhea. So I was quite nervous about leaving her with people who weren’t familiar with her issues and her tricks. But Karen and Tony handled her like pros. How do I know? Because I came home to a healthy dog who showed no signs of having missed any meds. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my Coco. Oh, and bonus, they are respectful sitters who left my home just as I had left it. They even laundered the sheets! Thank you, Karen and Tony, for caring for Coco and letting me enjoy my trip without worry. They are pros.”

“It’s always hard to leave a family member home with a sitter. Janey is different. She cares for your pet as a member of her family. I’ve met Janey a few times before leaving on my 4 night trip. I started with a meet and greet. Then I scheduled a 4 hour house visit. So by my scheduled trip I knew that Colbie would be comfortable with her. I had a few “asks” of her during the stay and she fulfilled them up to my expectations. I knew after the first night that I didn’t need to get pictures and updates from her. I was able to enjoy my vacation to its fullest. As I returned, I asked if she would do it again and she said yes. About: Since childhood I've had pets of all shapes and sizes. Let me care for your pet as you would do. They are ohana and deserve the very best! I'm currently working part-time and am home for the majority of time most days. Occasionally I do have to go into the office for 4 hour periods. I will visit or stay with your pet in your home. I will walk them as requested. Provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day. Clean drinking water will always remain accessible, and the feeding schedule will follow your directions. Leave me with clear instructions and I will make sure that they are safe, comfortable and happy while you are away.

“Ashley was great with our 4 month and 8 year old Goldendoodles while house sitting for us and even did so on short notice. Managing a puppy is never easy and she did a wonderful job. We came home to a clean house and felt the house was safe with Ashley staying in it. She kept us up to date with great photos while we were away too. “Thank you to Sulamita for watching Benjamin and Maple. We have two dogs that have very different personalities, one of them is reactive to other dogs, very guarded and cautious of strangers so we were worried about how he would do with someone new but Sulamita was able to get him to warm up to her within a few days. The other dog is a shy and nervous girl, but she is easy to win over so we weren't worried about her. She stayed with our dogs overnight for ever a week in house and she kept our house like we left it, kept up our dogs routine like picking up poop, bathroom/potty breaks, giving the dogs their daily supplements, and took out our trash bins as we requested. We very much appreciated it! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with her service as she communicated well, followed our instructions, asked questions to make sure she was doing the right thing, and treated our babies with love and respect. We would love to continue to go with her again for any future services until the next journey in her life. “Mike is AMAZING! We booked him to stay at our house with our 2 dogs. Regarding our dogs: One of our dogs is a rescue and can be overly anxious which causes him to be aggressive. In our intro meeting, our rescue dog was being problematic. However, Mike has worked with dogs like him and luckily, my dog's temper tantrums didn't deter him from watching my dogs. During his stay, my dog quickly warmed up to Mike and are now great friends. It speaks volumes to Mike's patience and experience with trouble dogs. Regarding the House Sitting: I don't think necessarily was part of the job description but I do have an older house that unfortunately decided to throw Mike some curve balls during his time watching my dogs. The wind took a window off its hinges and shattered glass all over and my refrigerator sprung a leak. Lucky again for us that Mike is very level headed, communicated the problems to us, and found solutions quickly to remedy the situation. We came back to the window mess being cleaned up, the fridge in working order, and towels used laundered and folded. Overall, I'm incredibly thankful for Mike and will certainly book him again the next time we're out of town.”
