Aloha! I’m Keala and I love animals of all kinds. I have been around animals my entire life – dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses and more. Currently, I have one Frenchie and he loves hosting play dates and slumber parties with new friends. In our home, your pup will be surrounded all day long with lots of love and affection, responsible care and close monitoring. As a caring and attentive pet owner myself, I will make sure your pets are safe and provided for. I always follow all dietary and medical instructions, and ensure your pet gets the appropriate amount of exercise, stimulation and rest. Besides food, water and walks, I can bathe your pets, take them to their appointments (or provide a space to meet if you have a mobile vet or groomer), administer medicine, and provide some basic training. Rules and schedules are important for dogs and I would be happy to work with them to ensure they form good habits and manners. I speak to my dogs in Hawaiian, so your pup will be learning commands in the native language of their island home. One of our favorite activities is going on walks to the pond near our house to watch the ducks and meet up with some of our friends from the neighborhood. On weekends we often go to the beach or park and I am open to taking your dog too if they do well in that environment. If they are not good on a leash or are uncomfortable around other dogs, I can always find different activities to keep them separate while still giving them the individual love and attention they deserve. My policy is safety first for all pets and that includes their mental and emotional health as well. I will provide your dog with a clean, safe, caring home away from home. I always try to use the most natural and environmentally responsible products in our home and on my dogs. I follow all COVID protocols and am fully vaccinated. My dog is vaccinated as well, and all pets need to be current on their vaccinations, monthly flea and heart worm medication. I also love cats and welcome them to our home. Drop off and pick up daily (7 days a week) between 6:30 A.M. and 6:30 P.M. Daily rate is $35.00 per day, or $11.00 per hour. Overnight boarding is from 6:30 P.M. to 6:30 A.M. at $35.00 per night, though arrangements can be made for times outside those hours. No drop offs after 8:00 P.M. or pick ups before 5:00 A.M. I may also be able to pick up or drop off with prior arrangements and an additional $5.00 charge. I'm very flexible with dates and times so please feel free to ask if you have any questions. I live in a condo with a small yard, but the grounds are large and we even have a stream and small pond running through the property. Your dog will be on leash at all times near the water. I have a friendly, playful pup of my own to keep them company. I can also section off the two floors of my home or provide a crate for dogs that would feel more comfortable being alone. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty time to spend with your pup. My schedule is pretty flexible so please contact me if you have any questions. I have a friendly Frenchie to play with your pup and we do daily walks to the stream near our house. I can also crate your dog if need be.
