“I was in a bind looking for a sitter for my boy Max. On short notice Andrea was able to watch Max. She came over each day to take care of Max and provided pictures. We were missing Max and those pictures meant a lot!”

“We have a pug who requires eye drops and a little extra care & patience due to his partial vision impairment, and Colby did a wonderful job in taking care of Totoro. She was kind enough to come meet our pug prior to the drop-in visit, and to ensure she knew how best to take care of all his needs & our expectations for her service. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Colby & will continue to use her services. We absolutely love her! Highly recommend!”

“Josie is amazing! She takes great care of our puppy Oscar during their 30 minute play sessions, always posts super detailed visit summaries, and takes loads of cute pics of Oscar. I’ll definitely request her again!”

“So so so nice! She was super quick to respond and came in clutch when someone else canceled. She communicated a lot and went above and beyond to make sure my pup was taken care of! I would definitely book with her again!”

“Lily is great with my girls! Great communication, and she even did a mini photo shoot with them for Christmas which was so sweet. You can tell she really cares about the pets she watches. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: **All walks/check-ins will be done with my 7 month old baby! Please ensure you do not book unless your pets are child friendly. Meet & greet required beforehand** Hi there! I have a husky mix of my own named Kira, so I'm very familiar with the love and care dogs deserve and need. We have an active lifestyle, so helping to walk/check in on your pup or cat is a great way to get fresh air and help out families who are away for travel or work! I've grown up around both cats and dogs and know how they are considered family and deserve to be treated as such. I strive to give pet owners a peace of mind while they're away and to ensure their dogs feel safe and comfortable. Plenty of photos and updates will be provided when your pet is in my care. I look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to meet your little one! I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I’m super flexible to be able to do walks or checkins! This makes it easy to ensure your pet is given the love and attention they deserve. We have a yard that isn’t fenced, but live in an area with plenty of sidewalks for multiple walks each day! My dog will also help keep yours company while we’re all at home (if boarding), giving them a friend to play with. If you prefer your dog be crated at certain points during their stay we can do that also (for sleeping, while I step out to run an errand, etc.). For caring at other's homes I ensure their food and water is filled as needed and that their environment is safe and clean until their owner returns.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been helping care for friends, neighbors, and family members pets. I grew up always having dogs around, so it is very easy making pets feel loved and safe. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always care for them like they’re my own. I am currently not working and home a lot of the time, so your pet will have unlimited amount of potty breaks, play time, and whatever it may need. I have a 7yr old friendly dog who’s name is spooky and would love have other dog friend’s over. I’m respectful, clean, and communicative, and I love sending photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well and that their homes are being properly taken care of. I also have a fenced in yard for dogs to have potty breaks.
“Caroline was absolutely amazing with our fur baby Cheeb! 🐾 From the very beginning she was responsive, reliable, and so kind. She took great care of him making sure he was well-fed, had fresh water, and got plenty of love and attention. I felt so comfortable knowing he was in her hands while we were away. She even went above and beyond helping with little things around the house, which we really appreciated. We came home to a happy and relaxed kitty, which says it all! I would 100% recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

“I utilized Theresa service once again and she did not disappoint. I really appreciate her being diligent with the care and service she provides. I love reading the Rover card as well as viewing the photos. Theresa is very detailed and I like that. Thank you again for the care you provided for my cat. It's certainly appreciated.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover and proud pet mom to my own fur babies, I understand that pets are family, not just animals. What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and communication I provide. I don’t just “check in” on your pet, I truly engage with them, learn their personality, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m extremely detail-oriented, reliable, and respectful of your home and routines. Whether it’s administering medication, sticking to specific feeding schedules, or sending regular photo updates for peace of mind, I go above and beyond to make sure both you and your pet feel secure. As a military spouse, integrity and trust mean everything to me. When you book with me, you’re choosing someone who treats your pet like their own with patience, love, and genuine care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine because I already structure my days around responsibility and consistency. As a military spouse and student, I maintain a well-organized schedule that allows me to dedicate focused time to pet visits, walks, and quality care without feeling rushed. I build my day intentionally, whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening drop-ins. So your pet receives calm, attentive, and unrushed care. Since I’m used to balancing school, home life, and my own pets, I understand the importance of sticking to routines, feeding schedules, and special instructions. Pet sitting isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I plan for and prioritize. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness become part of my structured weekly routine. I provide attentive, structured, and personalized care whether pets are in my home or in their own familiar environment. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly space where animals are supervised, comfortable, and never left unattended for long periods. I follow each pet’s specific routine closely including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, crate preferences, and any special instructions. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities, and I make sure pets feel secure and welcomed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the animal’s routine and the owner’s space. I maintain their normal feeding, walking, and play schedule to minimize stress while their family is away. I also provide regular updates with photos so owners feel connected and reassured. I treat every home with professionalism, integrity, and care. No matter the setting, I focus on consistency, communication, and genuine affection because pets deserve to feel safe and loved wherever they are.

About: I’m new to dogs but would love to learn! I can guarantee that each and every animal will receive the love, care and attention they deserve! I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Booking with me entails; nonstop attention and love, especially since I work from home. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

About: I’ve always gravitated towards cats and dogs specifically because of how much love they want and give. All I want is to provide safe and positive care for animals. I’m going to have full availability to take care of your pets! I’m very excited to start this experience and enjoy your fur babies! Animals should be treated as kids and I fully accept the responsibility of that! I am willing to go above and beyond to make sure your pet stays happy and well cared for. I’m very flexible and understanding when it comes to what you expect for your pets daily activities and needs.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam
Kristina has helped take care of my senior cat twice and has been great both times! She was available even on short notice the second time. I have a hard time leaving my cat and worry a lot, but Kristina’s photos and updates during each visit make me feel much better. Very communicative throughout as well. I know my kitty is in good hands as her knowledge and care for animals is evident - she was even able to administer my cat’s medications while we were gone. I am so happy to have found someone I can trust and would recommend Kristina to anyone looking for care!

I had The greatest Rover experience ever with Rebecca and the quality of care she showed for my 4 kitties! I had never left my kitties before so I was very nervous about the whole process but Rebecca made sure my kitties were all loved, taken care of, and most of all I felt so relaxed on my vacation knowing my cats were all in the best hands! I even have a very shy timid kitty that never comes out when people are over and by the 4th day she was out of hiding and accepting pets! 100% will be using Rebecca again for all my pet sitting needs! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Rebecca for loving my babies as much as I do!

Tamah went above and beyond for our cats. One of our pets was put on emergency antibiotics days before our trip was scheduled. Tamah did an amazing job making sure she was given her medicine daily and sent us lots of updates. I would absolutely have her back! 10/10!

Taylor was so amazing with our boys! They welcomed her from the get-go, including our shy boy. I didn't have to worry at all. She provided pics for updates, which was a plus! She went above and beyond for what I expected. I would have her pet-sit in a heartbeat again. 🤗 thank you so much, Taylor. 😄

I’ve booked Megan multiple times for longer trips and couldn’t recommend her more. She’s incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond. She did an amazing job caring for my cats, including managing their medical needs, and I always felt confident they were in great hands. I truly trust her with my fur babies and am so grateful for the care she provides.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
