“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I have been a pet sitter on here before but I was unfortunately locked out of my account. I was a 5 star sitter with 7 repeat clients, I kept pet sitting until I started my job at a pet store in 2024. Here, I worked with guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets, cats, small birds, and small lizards. I am also a level one certified veterinary assistant and trained in basic pet first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. In addition, I have two miniature dachshunds, two cats, a leopard gecko, and three crested geckos! After nearly two years, I am no longer at my job and am looking to get back into pet sitting. I am home most of the day and week getting things ready for my husband and I’s move. My pups are on a schedule where they eat twice a day; morning and evening. They are also crate trained, so leaving them to attend to your pets is not hard for me to do. I am always very careful to memorize any details anybody gives me. I always make sure to ask the right questions in the case that you may forget to tell me. I love sending pictures of your pets to you and just overall providing love and attention to them when you aren’t able to.

McKenzie was able to help us out on very short notice due to our cat needing to be on antibiotics just two days before our trip out of state.
