About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I previously worked as a veterinary receptionist and later as a veterinary front office manager, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with many different personalities and needs. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I will always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the week. I do have family responsibilities during parts of the day, but I carefully plan my schedule to make sure pets receive regular potty breaks, exercise, companionship, feeding, and consistent care. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I always do my best to follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medications if needed, potty schedules, walks, and each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. About: I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets (cats), including feeding, daily care, mild grooming, and nail trimming. As a veterinary technician student, I’ve also gained valuable animal handling and care experience through my studies and one year of internship experience at an animal hospital. “Rebecca knew just how to elicit kitty trust. My two kitties are opposites in some ways...one very sociable and trusting, the other cautious, wary. takes her time. Rebecca acted appropriately with both znd won their trust and friendship within a day or two...well done. She did more than feed and clean kitty boxes. She played with them, followed the routine they are used to, was patient and kind. She also sent ne daily photos and videos and obverservations. Then she left my apartment clean and organized. My kitties were calm, well fed and well socialized and ready to get back to "normal " life again on my return. Really good job, Rebecca! Couldn't ask for better.”

I currently have a Cocker Spaniel named Lupin and a Lop Bunny named Mars.🐶🐰 I have experience caring for all types of dogs, including high energy, strong breeds like Afghan Hounds, so I am very comfortable walking and caring for big dogs. Within the past decade I have cared for those types of my family and friends' pets from pet sitting them at my place to overnight sitting at theirs, as well as my own cat, Pluto, for the the past 11 years. I have also help extensively in child care and special needs, so am open to that as well. I am currently working from home and in my free time I’m outdoors playing volleyball, hiking, or doing something active. I currently do not work, rover is the only job I do full-time, so I am almost always available to dog sit. I love dogs, and would love to make yours apart of my weekly routine.
