“Kenzie did drop in visits and walks while I was away. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and professional that I felt assured about the care of my pups. Highly recommend Kenzie to watch after your pups. Thank you Kenzie!”

“Very thorough and professional. Made sure to find all of our troublemakers each visit, not just leave food and call it. Even cleaned up a few messes. Will definitely hire again if we need a cat sitter.”

I work a flexible shift Tuesday-Thursday and work close on base. I am able to be here for the pets most the time and also come home for lunch. About: I’ve always been a responsible pet owner since I was little and have had numerous unique pets growing up. I love pet sitting, walking, and taking care of them all as if they were my own 🩷 I am currently a substitute teacher and have some extra time and days I don’t have work so I have free time for walks and cuddles. I have always prioritized safety in my different occupations doing security and corrections most of my life. I take pride in people’s trust in me in different ways.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Ever since I was born there has not been a time where a dog was not considered part of the family. I am experienced with reptiles owning tortoises(turtles) both land and wet(swimming) kind. I have bred and raised Jackson chameleons and had one frog. For dogs I have done both group training as well as one on one personalized training for dogs passed puppy stage. After an injury and a period of hospitalization I saw how instrumental pet therapy is to patients recovering and the difference they make when going through painful treatments first hand. After re-learning and regaining my ability to walk took it upon myself to train and certify…i with my own emotional support and therapy dog,(Floyd) who i trained personally. He has gone through all basic obedience training in St. Louis, Missouri as well as defensive training. He has also achieved his k9 good citizen ship and has his “love on leashes” qualification which basically allows us to visit hospitals and meet with patients. Floyd is a 125 pound tall black floppy eared loving Doberman who couldn’t hurt a fly, infact he’s actually afraid of them. He is well traveled and the best mannered dog I have ever trained and owned. I adopted him from the St. Louis human society in Missouri where he was found wondering the hi-way. He was just under a year old and was malnourished with a stomach problem. Since then he has been all over on adventures with me, He has flown more then 5 times on a plane and was even invited to the cockpit by the pilot for a picture, Weather its riding the train to Chicago, swimming in the asabo river in Michigan or playing in the snow at Times Square Floyd is always down. To me he embodies and proves the saying that dog is truly mans best friend. He has saved my life and touched so many others while visiting patients giving back and volunteering. My schedule is very flexible, and I have full control over how I plan my days. Most of my work and obligations are scheduled ahead of time, which allows me to build my routine around each pet’s needs. When I accept a booking, I make sure I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Your pet’s routine, comfort, feeding schedule, walks, and care instructions will always be my priority I create a calm, clean, and secure environment for every pet I care for. I pay close attention to each pet’s body language, personality, and routine so I can help them feel comfortable and safe. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication needs, walks, litter box cleaning, and house rules. I’m also very mindful about doors, gates, leashes, and anything that could become a safety issue. My goal is to care for your pet with the same patience, respect, and attention I would want for my own.
“Kathy was incredible. Great communication and loving care to our two kiddos. We couldn’t be happier with her professionalism and service. Absolutely recommend Kathy if you need someone passionate about taking care of you fur babies!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Pearl Harbor
Veronica did a great job taking care of Meow Meow as usual. She gives her the needed injections and test to control her diabetes. When Meow Meow got sick, she went the extra mile to take care of her, giving her medication and even offering to take her to the vet. I feel so much better going away since I can have Meow Meow's special needs taken care of by Veronica.

I’ve booked Megan multiple times for longer trips and couldn’t recommend her more. She’s incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond. She did an amazing job caring for my cats, including managing their medical needs, and I always felt confident they were in great hands. I truly trust her with my fur babies and am so grateful for the care she provides.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
