“Grace did an amazing job taking care of my three pets while I was gone. She kept me up to date on everything, sent lots of pictures, and made sure everything was taken care of. I will definitely be booking in the future.”

About: This is my full time job so I’m able to give your dog or doggos my full attention all day! I have experience with high energy dogs who need active attention all day to get their energy out, low energy dogs who prefer to cuddle on the couch and everything in between :) I have experience with senior dogs as well as pups that are still potty training! Just let me know what you need and I’ve got it:) This is my full time job so I am able to give your dog or doggos my full attention! My boyfriend also works from home so he is also able to help if needed :) I am able to follow any of the rules you already have for your pets as well as help add to their training if you would like! My dog is my world and I love her more than anything. I understand that you need your pet to have a blast but also stay safe!
“Kenzie did drop in visits and walks while I was away. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and professional that I felt assured about the care of my pups. Highly recommend Kenzie to watch after your pups. Thank you Kenzie!”

“Sam was very responsive and put my mind at ease while I was away for the weekend. This was my first time using Rover, so I didn’t know what to expect. I left a pretty lengthy schedule/directions and she followed them perfectly. I can tell through her updates that she’s intuitive and observant which I appreciate, since my two dogs couldn’t be more different from one another! Definitely will be using her again if our schedules line up — thank you so much, Sam!!”

“Ashley did an absolutely wonderful job caring for my three chihuahuas for a full week, and I highly recommend her. From the beginning, she was incredibly committed to making sure my boys were well taken care of, giving them plenty of walks, cuddles, and attention. She communicated with me consistently throughout the week, sending photos and updates that truly gave me peace of mind while I was far away from them. It meant so much to know they were safe, happy, and in such caring hands. Ashley was attentive, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Most importantly, my boys absolutely adore her, which says everything. I will definitely continue to have Ashley look after them on a regular basis, and I’m so grateful we found her.”

I have also help extensively in child care and special needs, so am open to that as well. My day is more enjoyable when I get to be around animals and outdoors, so I made a profile that allows me to add that to my daily routine. I then make sure to check in throughout the time to see their energy, and what else they might need.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pearl Harbor
Tawny is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about dogs. She took excellent care of my dog during daily visits while she was recovering from multiple surgeries, making sure she was well cared for and comfortable. I truly appreciate her compassion and attentiveness and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter.

Lucy was great! My cat is very scared of strangers and I mentioned he would most likely just hide the whole time, but she took the time to introduce herself to him every day and allow him to warm up to her. Within a few days he was completely comfortable with her. She completed the visits every day as planned. I would definitely book again, and Peanut would agree!

We were so lucky in having Chelsea watch Star for the last several months. I trust that Star will be in good hands! When we come back from our trips, our house was neat and tidy. She is also great at letting us know about updates and how Star is doing! We enthusiastically recommend her to furry parents out there.

Samantha was yet again an amazing sitter for our cats/apartment while we were away. She is always my top choice for good reason! Her attentiveness and the ample updates/pictures always keep me at ease knowing our little ones are safe and cared for while we’re gone.

Ruth did an exceptional job caring for Po, demonstrating a high level of focus and attentiveness throughout the stay. She truly exceeded expectations by going above and beyond her standard duties, ensuring that Po was happy and well-attended to the entire time.

Ebony was such a lifesaver! I went on a long trip and needed someone reliable and trusty. She really pulled through. She watched my chocolate lab for 2 weeks and during that time she loved him like he was her own. She sent pictures pretty much every day and sent little notes about how things were going. When I got home I found she’d left him some extra treats, and even cleaned up the floors(he sheds like crazy)! I will certainly be a repeat customer for all my trips forward. Thank you so much!

Veronica did a great job taking care of Meow Meow as usual. She gives her the needed injections and test to control her diabetes. When Meow Meow got sick, she went the extra mile to take care of her, giving her medication and even offering to take her to the vet. I feel so much better going away since I can have Meow Meow's special needs taken care of by Veronica.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
