About: From the first day I was born, I was surrounded by cocker spaniel puppies of my mother's. I was raised to care of different types of animals from dogs, cats, fish, turtle, bunnies, and mice! I have a great fondness and love for animals, especially dogs. We lost our 9 year old Maltese last August and would like to take care and provide some love for other dogs. I've house-sit/dog-sit my neighbor's black lab since 2008, and occasionally dog sit my friend's Australian Shepherd-Corgi mix puppy. I've also house-sit/dog-sit my coworkers black German Shepard several nights last year. I'm sometimes described as a dog whisperer, as dogs have had a natural fondness and friendliness with me. I have a night job as assistant manager/server in DT Bellevue, but morning and afternoon are wide open to take care of your furry companion.
About: I’ve been at home with our new puppy for 8 weeks and love every part of it. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks while training them some cute commands and seeing my pup play with other dogs I only work 2 days in the week, so I have a lot of down time to hang out with my and other dogs 🐕 I live in a pet friendly apartment complex, with a dog park and hiking trails right by it. About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. I currently live in dorm housing where animals are not allowed but for care inside client homes I will keep a watchful eye when letting your pet out and pay close attention to instructions.

About: I’ve always had pets of my own and love to give them the best care of their needs, whether it’s love & affection to mental or physical stimulation, I’m ready to enjoy the day with them, Your pup will have so much fun with my dog (Oreo) & I. We hike daily and if your pup is active, they are more than welcome to join us on any hikes that we do! Or if they just like simple short walks that’s great too! I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible, as long as I know ahead of time, we can work out a schedule that works out! I have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks or for play time. If your dog is crate trained during the night and you wish to continue, I have medium size crate but you are welcome to drop off their own crate with them, if they like to rest in their own crate, otherwise they are free to roam around the house and rest anywhere! Does your dog have any allergies to food/other things? or is reactive with another dog, or around food? • please let me know in advance so I can take precautions. I love updates of what my pup is doing throughout the day, when I’m not with her, so if you love getting updates of pictures of your pup throughout the day or at the end of the day just let me know!

My animals are 5lbs up to 80 lbs so I have experience with all sized dogs! If you ever feel like you need more experience with training for your visit I can bring my other half along, He has years of experience training large dogs. Especially teaching them to walk properly on a lead if that’s something your dog struggles with. I currently have a part time job and am just looking to taking care of dogs whenever I have free, so I can use rover almost everyday. Avery is fantastic. She took great care of my three very energetic labs while we were away for 2 weeks. She cleaned up behind them both outside and inside the house and was very patient with our male dog pooping and peeing inside despite knowing better. She gave them lots of play time as well. Avery let me know my dog’s med was running out so I could order a refill; she even went out of her way to pickup the medication from the vet so she wouldn’t miss a dose. I had no worries while away; Avery def gives you peace of mind if you need to leave your dogs! She took lots of pictures and left informative and entertaining notes. Will definitely book again.
Tamah went above and beyond for our cats. One of our pets was put on emergency antibiotics days before our trip was scheduled. Tamah did an amazing job making sure she was given her medicine daily and sent us lots of updates. I would absolutely have her back! 10/10!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
