About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I just retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. I enjoy walking dogs. Just tell me how long or how far they need to be walked and we will try to hit that distance. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If they get along, great! If not, I’ll keep them apart. I have no kids on property. All additional fees are negotiable if you live close, puppies are well behaved, house trained, and close to 1 yr old.

“Martina is amazing! This was our 2nd booking and our babies were so happy in all of the pics she sent & when we came home. We have 3 English bulldogs and she manages them without issue!”

“Amber is so great. It was our first time using Rover and we had heard some not so great stories. But we gave it a try anyways and Amber made it the best experience. We now have a new dog sitter and we could not be more happier. Thanks Amber for everything:).”

“I can't recommend Karina highly enough—truly the best caregiver we've ever had! She was incredibly reliable, attentive, & clearly cared deeply for Frankie's well-being & curious to learn more about Frankie. We returned to a happy, healthy little bunny & a perfectly maintained home. Her communication was excellent throughout, giving a complete peace of mind while we were away. I enjoyed the meet & greet prior to the scheduled days, Karina as a person is an absolute delight. She brings warmth and professionalism to the interaction, she's enjoyable to be around. Her actions & dependability spoke louder than words—Trust is especially the most important & Karina proved to be exceptionally trustworthy to us. Frankie also took a liking to Karina very much, came out of hiding to meet her. I think she also got used to the abundance of playtime & attention. Thank you Karina! 🤍🐇”

“Sarah kept me updated throughout the entire visit. My animals loved her, and I was at ease leaving them in her care as she did her drop-in visits. No issues with the animals.”

About: Hello, my name is Rebecca. I have over 10 years experience pet sitting for friends and family and have had pets since I was nine. I love walking dogs and am happy taking care of senior and special needs animals! I am also comfortable taking care of cats, birds, and fish! I love making new pet buddies, and want to ensure they are as happy as can be. I am patient and experienced in how to interact with pets that may be a bit timid, or shy with new individuals. Pets are great companions and I look forward to meeting many new buddies! The safety of your pets will be my highest priority! Looking forward to meeting you! I have a flexible schedule and will be able to care for your pet as much as is required or preferred! I have lots of energy and availability. I have a fenced in yard, one dog and one cat. As long as your pet is friendly with others and is crate trained, having them stay in our home will be a treat!

About: I've always had a deep love and soft spot for animals, especially those in need. One of my most meaningful experiences was taking in a pregnant shelter rescue. She gave birth to 13 puppies, and I cared for her and each of the pups until I was able to rehome them with loving families. I continued to care for the mother until she passed, and that experience strengthened my passion for helping rescue animals. Over the years, I've helped care for and rehome multiple rescue dogs, giving them a second chance at a happy life. My goal after retirement is to open a rescue on my own land so I can continue making a difference in the lives of as many fur babies as possible. I’m patient, nurturing, and treat every animal like family—whether they’re energetic puppies, shy rescues, or senior companions needing extra TLC. After becoming an empty nester, I made the big move to Hawaii for a fresh start. As much as I’d love to have a pet of my own, I’m currently renting and unable to. That’s why I’ve decided to help others care for their pets—it fills the space in my heart and home that only animals can. Caring for pets gives me a sense of purpose and joy. Whether it’s walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away, I treat every pet like my own. Helping others while doing something I love is the perfect balance for me right now. As a renter, I don’t have a designated space to host pets long-term, but I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. For short-term stays, I may be able to accommodate a small dog (if crated) or a cat in my home, depending on the situation. My priority is making sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s in your home or mine temporarily.

“Christine did AMAZING! One of our dogs is super nervous about everything and she even took the time prior to our vacation to get him use to her. She took amazing care and sent us pictures and updates throughout our vacation giving us peace of mind.”

“My pup Ellis loved playing with Kaielle! I booked her to do a drop-in visit from 5:30-6:30pm since I needed to stay a little late at work, and she was great – punctual, sent great photos of my girl/made sure she had a chance to pee, and even broke out Ellis' favorite toy: the flirt pole! So sweet, would recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s had the joy of raising and caring for three amazing dogs from puppyhood into their senior years—a Boxer (still with me at 11), an American Bulldog, and a Pug/Chihuahua mix. All were indoor pets and cherished members of the family, including one runt of the litter who needed extra love and care. Growing up, I was always the one helping with feeding, walks, training, and vet visits. I’ve learned how to be attentive to each dog’s unique needs—whether they’re energetic pups or older dogs who need patience and gentleness. I’ve also dog- and house-sat for family friends, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your home and your pets. I’ll care for your fur babies like they’re my own—whether it’s for a walk, a few hours, or an extended stay. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet and see if we’re a good fit! During the school year, I work full-time as an RBT supporting K–12 students, so I’m most available for evenings, weekends, and early mornings. During school breaks and holidays, my schedule is much more flexible. I also occasionally work part-time as a receptionist at a chiropractic office, but I always make sure to plan around pet care needs. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended stays, I do my best to keep my availability consistent and communication clear. I provide pet care in the client’s home to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all pre-discussed routines and guidelines closely—whether that includes feeding schedules, medications, walk times, or play preferences. My goal is to make your pet feel as loved and well-cared for as they would be with you. I treat every pet like family and always respect your home and routines.

“Tonya is a wonderful person and we are so grateful to have had her care for our pets while we were out of town. After my last sitter moved away, I was nervous about finding a new sitter since my pets are old and have some quirks, but Tonya was amazing and treated them with the utmost care and kindness. We highly recommend her to any pet parents.”

About: Aloha! I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always had a deep love and respect for pets of all kinds. From walking energetic dogs to caring for senior pets who need extra patience. Mahalo for considering me. I’ll be glad to take care of your pets Any Monday, Wednesday, Friday From Early morning’s to Afternoon’s. I hope this can fit into your schedule. Pets are like family I wish to keep mine safe and I know you wish the same for your companions so I have a naturally protective nature over our friends.

“Much appreciated. She took the time to walk my doggies and give them the attention they needed. She is reliable and I was able to book with her on a short notice. Would book again.”

“Anela provided our two shih tzus with two visits per day at our home while we were away on the Big Island of Hawaii. I was very pleased with her and she gave me daily updates and pictures. She took excellent care of Mei Ling and Ginger with feeding, taking them walking around the block, and did follow instructions to a tee. I would gladly recommend her and will hire again should a need arises in the near future. Cindy”

“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! If you value peace of mind and knowing your dog is being taken care of the way you hope then you should look no further and book Kara to take care of your furry friend.”

Joel M.
“I've known Joel for about 20 years. We both share a love for dogs and have often cared for each other's canine companions. When we met, I had a male siberian husky named McHale and Joel had a corgi named Wally. Despite their differences in size and breed, Wally and McHale were great friends and provided hours of entertainment with their antics. If I had to go out of town, I could always count on Joel to take McHale into his home while I was away. Joel would often send me videos and funny pics of the dogs playing together. I'm pretty sure that McHale had so much fun with Joel and Wally that he was a little disappointed when I showed up to retrieve him. Siberian huskies are not an easy breed to take care of and McHale was a notorious escape artist, but Joel never had a problem with him and I would trust him today with any of my dogs without hesitation. Any dog owner who cares about their animal would be lucky to have Joel as their pet caregiver.”
