About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. I currently live in dorm housing where animals are not allowed but for care inside client homes I will keep a watchful eye when letting your pet out and pay close attention to instructions.

“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 8 years old. My family had birds, bunnies, cats, dogs, turtles & fish. Pretty much any pet you can think of, I probably owned it. We have our sweet dog Juneau. She gets along with dogs and cats so as long as your pet is friendly, we can probably board him/her. I work from home during the week and shoot photo sessions on the weekends but my wife is home if I am not so your pet is not left alone. We love to give lots of play time and go on walks. Pets are allowed on furniture and on bed. We have a fenced in yard.
About: I have years of experience caring for pets (dogs, cats, birds) including my own pets and those of friends, family, and Rover. I love animals and your pup would have my undivided attention! I am an emergency medicine physician assistant and have a fairly flexible schedule. I love animals and therefore, I will only accept requests to care for doggos on my days off to ensure that they get the attention/love that they deserve!! Pups under my care will frequent the dog park or hiking trails for some good smells and fresh air. You may notice that I have no recent reviews on Rover. I am new to Hawaii (from Massachusetts) as of May 2024 and just recently back on Rover. BUT I have no short of pet experience. Dogs will have a minimum of 5 walks per day for daycare (if wanted) and lots of snuggles. I live in a nice, calm neighborhood with a small yard. I also have a setup for my car including a dog seatbelt for trips to the park/hikes.

Anytime after or before these hours me and my children will be spending time with your fur baby however you see fit. Your dog will be fed during breakfast and dinner time, or if you have a different timing you’d prefer I can change my schedule to be able to fit your needs I work 10-230 so I’ll be any to dedicate a lot of time to your pet and provide them with whatever love and services needed I do have another dog so your per will not be lonely. My dog gets alone with both cats and dogs and is not aggressive at all

About: Growing up, I’ve always had multiple pets like hamsters, rabbits, and dogs, so I’m use to multiple species under one household. I love all animals and spend most time with dogs and cats. Since moving to Hawaii, I am unable to have pets of my own due to constantly relocating to different islands. My residency has predictable hours and allows me time to pick up shifts during the week and weekend. I am currently a full time medical resident and have weekends and evenings off. Im off most days by 4pm. My schedule is very consistent which allows me to plan far in advance. On my free time I am pretty active with hikes, beach days, volleyball, and weight lifting so for more active pets, I can accommodate an active lifestyle. Avery is fantastic. She took great care of my three very energetic labs while we were away for 2 weeks. She cleaned up behind them both outside and inside the house and was very patient with our male dog pooping and peeing inside despite knowing better. She gave them lots of play time as well. Avery let me know my dog’s med was running out so I could order a refill; she even went out of her way to pickup the medication from the vet so she wouldn’t miss a dose. I had no worries while away; Avery def gives you peace of mind if you need to leave your dogs! She took lots of pictures and left informative and entertaining notes. Will definitely book again.
Sophie was a wonderful friend to my feisty puppy and took such tender care of my 19-year-old senior cat. She was prompt, attentive, and an excellent communicator throughout. My puppy adored her from the moment they met, which is always a good sign! She carefully followed all of my instructions, respected our home and property, and consistently went above and beyond. She even left everything cleaner and tidier than she found it after every visit. Shandri took such great care of our dog while we were away for a short trip. She uploaded photos after every visit and kept me informed about her time with our sweet girl. 🐶 She went above and beyond, checking on our dog early in the mornings if she didn’t do all of her business the night before, and she even cleaned our dog’s food bowls before we got home. Our pup was clearly taken care of very well and we’d recommend Shandri to anyone!
McKenzie was able to help us out on very short notice due to our cat needing to be on antibiotics just two days before our trip out of state. She went above and beyond in making sure our cat was given her daily meds and had excellent communication with us the entire week. We are so appreciative of McKenzie!
