About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs and have been around them my entire life. I began dog walking and dog sitting in high school and have continued caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities over the years. Going to school to be an obstetrician and gynecologist. Not too busy throughout the day besides work from 7am-3:30pm. If you’d like any service the best way to get into contact with me would be through a text message. My work schedule is 7-3:30. Anytime after or before these hours me and my children will be spending time with your fur baby however you see fit. Your dog will be fed during breakfast and dinner time, or if you have a different timing you’d prefer I can change my schedule to be able to fit your needs I work 10-230 so I’ll be any to dedicate a lot of time to your pet and provide them with whatever love and services needed I do have another dog so your per will not be lonely. My dog gets alone with both cats and dogs and is not aggressive at all

“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! If you value peace of mind and knowing your dog is being taken care of the way you hope then you should look no further and book Kara to take care of your furry friend.”
About: I've fostered cats through the SPCA for years and have had cats of my own for my whole adult life. I grew up with a high-energy, loving dog and cared for her from puppy all the way into her old age. I work around my wife's work schedule for childcare purposes. I am available most days of the week, I'm just not always sure what days those are going to be until a month in advance or so. My indoor cat is your typical lazy, Garfield-like cat. Eats, sleeps, eats again. She is very friendly, so I am very accustomed to and fine with cuddly cats. One of my free-range cats is not cuddly in the slightest, so I am also familiar with taking care of cats that aren't too fond of strangers.

Avery is fantastic. She took great care of my three very energetic labs while we were away for 2 weeks. She cleaned up behind them both outside and inside the house and was very patient with our male dog pooping and peeing inside despite knowing better. She gave them lots of play time as well. Avery let me know my dog’s med was running out so I could order a refill; she even went out of her way to pickup the medication from the vet so she wouldn’t miss a dose. I had no worries while away; Avery def gives you peace of mind if you need to leave your dogs! She took lots of pictures and left informative and entertaining notes. Will definitely book again.
Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
