I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: I have fostered cats through the SPCA both here on Oahu and back in California for years. They have ranged from kittens to full grown, some very sweet and some very spicy. About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

About: From the first day I was born, I was surrounded by cocker spaniel puppies of my mother's. I was raised to care of different types of animals from dogs, cats, fish, turtle, bunnies, and mice! We have a decently sized fenced backyard for your doggies to race around and play and are very easy going when it comes to "house rules". Your dog will be allowed on the furniture and the bed.

“Let me first preface with there's not enough good things to say about our experience with Ashley! She deserves more than 5 Stars! Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”

It was clear they were getting lots of attention, playtime, and genuine love. The whole process was incredibly smooth and easy. Compared to other pet sitters we’ve used, there was much less setup required, and he already had crates available for our dogs, which made drop-off and pickup simple and stress-free.
