All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

About: I’m new to dogs but would love to learn! I can guarantee that each and every animal will receive the love, care and attention they deserve! I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Booking with me entails; nonstop attention and love, especially since I work from home. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

About: Hi! I’m Becky, and I absolutely love animals. I’ve spent my life around both dogs and cats and have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My own dog recently passed away, and we miss her every day. While our family isn’t in a position to have a pet of our own right now, we truly love having animals around and enjoy every opportunity to care for them. I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule that allows me to be present throughout the day. If your pet is boarding with us, they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I have the autonomy in my job to take breaks for walks, playtime, potty breaks, belly rubs, fetch sessions, or simply spending quality time with your pet. When your pet stays with us, they’ll be treated like part of the family and loved as if they were our own. I have two young children who are gentle, kind, and respectful of animals. Because of this, I only accept pets that are comfortable around children. Whether your pet prefers long walks, active playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having company throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate their needs and routine. I care for both dogs and cats and will do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I have a lot of autonomy in my job, so if your dog has a certain schedule, chances are I can customize my day around them. I have a big fenced yard or a big comfy couch. Your pet will be able to choose if it wants to be outside or inside.

“Malia is awesome! Rooty needs to be boarded for almost 2 weeks for an upcoming trip. To help prepare him for it, we had Malia watch him for about 6 hours. By the looks and sounds of it, he had a great time! We loved her updates and pictures that captured every phase of his visit - from playing in the yard, to walking, to chilling on the couch. She treated him like one of her own, and we're excited to see how he does on his one night overnight stay!”
