“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. I really love animals and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Since I’m not currently working, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets my full attention. I’m home a lot, so I’m able to keep a close eye on them, stick to their routines, and make sure they get lots of care, playtime, and company throughout the day I live in a townhouse with my dog Roxy and my three kittens. Roxy is a small Chihuahua, very energetic, friendly, and used to being around other animals. My cats are also very social and comfortable in a multi-pet home. It’s a calm, pet-friendly space where animals are part of everyday life. I also love staying active with walks, trips to the dog park, and going to the beach when the weather’s nice. Pets staying with me would get lots of attention, care, and companionship in a safe, relaxed environment (with lots of cuddles)
About: Started young - I fostered a puppy in high school and pet sit for friends’ and families’ dogs. They’d rely on me to walk, feed, and be the best companion to their pets. As a cat mom, I know how it feels to not be there with your furry friend while you’re out of town or at work. I will be there to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of in those moments! I have a flexible schedule so I can help keep your pup company! Walking, at home visits for feeding/playing/bathroom breaks - Morning to afternoon is my biggest gap of availability. I am mindful when opening and closing doors, crating your doggie securely (if that’s their routine), being attentive while their playing to make sure they aren’t ingesting anything that isn’t their kibble, and most importantly reporting back to you if I notice anything unusual with your fur baby.
