“I really appreciated how understanding Haily was with my pup meeting her pups. After a little communication here and there, she was eager to have a meet and greet with my pup and hers. My bigger pup was a little shy and unsure about it at first meet. After he arrived for his week long stay, he started getting along better. She'd sent me evening updates about my pups wellbeing with text and pictures. With thise notifications, I was able to give some helpful ideas on how to get him to eat since he was feeling homesick. He did hurt his leg while he was there, but with him being very active, he just over extended his leg while playing, and she notified me and helped him out as best as possible. He's doing well now and glad his overall experience was a great one! I'm gonna choose Haily for our next pup-sitter, when the time comes!”

“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

About: I live on base, so base access required. Or I can pick up and drop off up with small fee. My meeting place for those who don't have base access is Holy Family Catholic Church 830 Main St Honolulu. A cancellation fee is applied if cancellation is within 72hrs. I have raised and cared for many pets. I have walked, and given pets needed exercise, and have always made sure they have fresh water to stay healthy and hydrated. I have a lot of experience with caring for pets and given them needed medication as well. Also I can accept longer boardings or boardings needed on short notice. Currently a stay at home mom to school kids so I have quality time to devote to pet care. I wake up at 6am daily and walk 1 mile for my health and your pet is welcome to accompany me. I provide care in my home only. I provide walks when possible. I do conduct meet and greets to ensure proper fit and I have a fenced yard for safety.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and have watched neighbors animals for the last 5-7 years. I have an almost 2 year old male German Shepard. I also have a 1 year old female schnoodle puppy, I have had both dogs since they were puppies and have crate trained and potty trained both dogs. I have base access. I work full time but am wanting to spend time with dogs. I have full weekends to spend time with dogs and be able to give them attention they may need I love to play fetch and other games as well as take walks with dogs and also give the dogs lots of love and attention
“Malia is awesome! Rooty needs to be boarded for almost 2 weeks for an upcoming trip. To help prepare him for it, we had Malia watch him for about 6 hours. By the looks and sounds of it, he had a great time! We loved her updates and pictures that captured every phase of his visit - from playing in the yard, to walking, to chilling on the couch. She treated him like one of her own, and we're excited to see how he does on his one night overnight stay!”
