About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since a young age, including raising guide dog puppies with my family. I’ve since owned dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, frogs, spiders, and fish so I can tackle many needs. I’m well-versed in basic pet first aid and dietary needs (having worked at a specialty pet shop that made its own healthy gourmet pet treats for several years). My own dogs have included a registered and trained therapy dog as well as my current rescue dog who I’ve trained through his struggles with anxiety and reactivity. He and I love outdoor adventures and being active! I’ve fostered over 20 dogs and cats through shelters of all shapes, sizes, and ages and can’t get enough. I’d love to get to know your pet and all their unique quirks! I’m a teacher, so my schedule is wide open during the summers and school holidays. During the school year, I’m free after 3PM weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I’m very conscious of pet health and wellbeing. I’m selective about the food and treats I give my dog and willing to adapt to the needs and expectations of other pet parents who know their pets best! I stick to a regular routine of walks and other outings with plenty of enrichment in between. My own pets get medication and supplements as well as nutritious food toppers with every meal and I’ll gladly do the same for yours.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. I received my first dog for my 7th birthday present and have always had a pet ever since. I have recently finished my contract with the United States Army. I currently have the time and experience to properly care for any pet. I’m willing to work with their daily routine. I have a fence in yard for my own two dogs. I do not offer boarding at my residence due to my current lease agreement.

About: What sets me apart is that I truly love animals and have over four years of experience caring for pets. I’m responsible, patient, and make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable. I also have experience with puppies, including basic training, feeding, walking, and giving them lots of attention and care. I am a military spouse therefore I do have BASE access! Pet care fits well into my routine, but it depends on my part-time work schedule. I usually have plenty of free time before or after work and on my days off. I’m flexible and do my best to work around your pet’s needs, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. This includes feeding them on schedule, giving them fresh water, taking dogs on walks, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time playing with and giving them attention. I also keep the home clean and make sure the pets are always supervised and cared for. I treat every pet like my own and do my best to make them feel loved while their owners are away.

“Lawrence stayed at our home to care for our two Shih Tzus while we traveled for a quick two-night trip, and we are so incredibly grateful for him. Not only did he take wonderful care of our dogs, but he did so during the intense Kona storm here in Hawaii, which made leaving home even more stressful. Knowing Lawrence was there gave us so much peace of mind. Our puppy is still young and full of energy, and our older dog needs a little extra patience and care — he handled both of them so thoughtfully. One thing we really appreciated was how communicative he was. He sent so many photos and updates, which we absolutely loved. It made it so much easier to relax on our trip knowing they were safe, happy, and being well cared for. He also went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect. When we mentioned we might be coming back earlier than planned, he even checked in when he hadn’t heard back from us just to make sure he was available to stop by and check on the dogs after he left if needed. That level of care and responsibility meant so much. To top it off, he surprised our puppy with the cutest little shrimp toy, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. When we got home, the dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable with him. It’s such a relief to find someone you can truly trust with both your pets and your home. Lawrence is kind, responsible, thoughtful, and clearly loves animals. We feel very lucky to have found him and will absolutely be reaching out to him again for future trips. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I have been a pet sitter on here before but I was unfortunately locked out of my account. I was a 5 star sitter with 7 repeat clients, I kept pet sitting until I started my job at a pet store in 2024. Here, I worked with guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets, cats, small birds, and small lizards. I am also a level one certified veterinary assistant and trained in basic pet first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. In addition, I have two miniature dachshunds, two cats, a leopard gecko, and three crested geckos! After nearly two years, I am no longer at my job and am looking to get back into pet sitting. I am home most of the day and week getting things ready for my husband and I’s move. My pups are on a schedule where they eat twice a day; morning and evening. They are also crate trained, so leaving them to attend to your pets is not hard for me to do. I am always very careful to memorize any details anybody gives me. I always make sure to ask the right questions in the case that you may forget to tell me. I love sending pictures of your pets to you and just overall providing love and attention to them when you aren’t able to.

About: A BIT ABOUT ME: I’ve been around animals literally all my life. Throughout elementary and high school, I volunteered at the Hawaiian Humane Society and the Honolulu Zoo. Growing up, some of the pets and animals I’ve taken care of were: Dogs Cats (currently I have three cats now) Smaller pets (rats,mice,birds and rabbits) Ducks Chickens A lot of fish and even a baby pig, that required nursing. I work at a dog daycare, but am currently seeking clients to transition to Rover full time and am willing to be flexible. If you are planning an extended trip and need someone to watch your pet everyday, I might be a great fit. I have worked at the pet daycare for 9 years and have experience with monitoring and working with a pack of around 40 dogs (or more) Some of the other jobs I have at the dog daycare are: -Cleaning kennels -Laundry/Dishes/General Cleaning -Cat playtime -Litter box cleaning -Rabbit Care -Preparing food bowls -Dog walking -Enrichment activities for the dogs (such as puzzle time, basic command training, arts and crafts for the dogs, bedtime stories) -Basic grooming (such as nail trims, baths, blow drying brushing and ear cleaning and teeth brushing.) -Monitoring dogs during swim classes -Administering medications to pets -Giving extra attention to animals who are seniors or have special needs PLEASE NOTE When I meet you and your fur babies I would like to spend at least an hour with them before scheduling a pet sitting or regular walking, to be sure they feel comfortable with me. Things I need to know from you: -If your pet has special needs, health problems, allergies, separation anxiety, issues with taking medications, is food/toy aggressive with humans, or other dogs. -If your pet requires medications, any tricks or treats you use. -If your pet has any anxiety at bath time, or during nail trims -If there is anything I can do to make them feel more comfortable, relaxed and happy, please let me know. What you can expect from me: -I will absolutely give your fur babies the love and care they need. Should they require extra attention, you can rely on me. -To give you peace of mind, after a walk visit is completed, or while you are away on a trip, I will update you with a fun report, via email or text. Please note that should an emergency arise, I will call immediately. All animals are special to me…with the exception of spiders. You can trust that while your fur baby is in my care, they will be well looked after. To start, I’m able to work Sunday mornings, Mondays and Wednesdays. If more time is required, I’m flexible. Currently I’m starting as a dog walker, if clients increase I will devote more time to dog walking and eventually sitting Currently, I am available for dog walking specifics on where to collect/return dog can be individualized to meet client’s needs. I would prefer not to enter the client’s home, but if it is necessary, I am willing to do so. If client requests home entry, I will need to meet with owner and dog in client’s home at least twice, to be sure the dog feels comfortable with me. If client prefers leaving the dog in an enclosed yard, one meeting with both dog and owner should suffice, but all decisions will be made case by case.
