“Meagan is great, communicates well, is flexible and most of all, she cares for our fur babies with lots of love and respect. It’s can be stressful when letting someone stay in your home but Meagan has been a joy 🤩”

About: I have been a dedicated pet owner for several years and have hands-on experience caring for my own pets every day. My responsibilities include feeding, walking, exercising, grooming, cleaning up after them, and making sure they receive plenty of love and attention. I understand every pet has unique needs and will care for yours with the same patience, attention, and compassion that I give my own. The services I will be able to provide include any pet sitting except boarding. I have open availability. Pet care is currently my full-time focus, which means I have open availability and the flexibility to provide your pets with the attention and care they deserve. I currently have 2 cats in my home. Due to space and comfortability of all furry friends involved, I will only be offering house/pet-sitting and walking.
About: I have grown up with dogs and had them in and out of my life. I am pretty experienced with young puppies and adult dogs. Although I am not experienced with senior care or giving medication. I am currently a part time college student that will be taking classes online. I have an incredibly flexible schedule. I will do my best to work with so that it works out for everyone. I cannot board any animals in my home however I would be happy to spend the night with your furry family members in your home. I take pet safety very serious and I’ll care for your pet like they’re my own pet. I’ll also follow any instructions, rules and dietary needs that you have for your pet. Further more I won’t leave your pet unsupervised unless in a safe or secure place and with your knowledge and permission.
“Alexis has a simply wonderful! She has the experience and heart for putting our pups and us at ease while being apart! We received pictures and the cutest video. We’re so thankful to her because now we have the ability to take family vacations without stressing our fur kids in unfamiliar environments. We’ll be working with Alexis, again, very soon!”

“Very very happy with Bridget. She really took the time to learn the situation of my dog, he just lost his sister/litter mate and had been really down. She did amazing with him and I know he was treated very well because when I got home he was so mellow and looked so comfortable. Thank you so much Bridget, truly appreciate you.”

“Jessica was wonderful. My dogs were well cared for and my house was well kept. I have one dog that takes a while to warm up to people and just in the matter of one night she already had him cuddling up to her like he does to us. So grateful! We will definitely be booking her in the future!”

“Robert is good with communication, & we always come home to happy dogs when he stays with them. So glad we found Robert as a trusted sitter for our dogs when we’re away.”
“Madalyn G is amazing! She kept my constantly updated and sent so many photos of my babies while I was gone! This was the first trip I’ve taken where I felt at peace and knew all my babies were being taken care of! She’s my new go to girl! I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Madalyn!”

About: I had a dog for 7 years until he passed away while I was in college. He was the best companion and I really miss having a dog. This past year have been taking care of my cousin's puppy since she was 3 months old. She is a sassy Australian Shepherd Golden Retriever mix who loves playing with bubbles and going to the beach. She is getting more independent and no longer needs constant care, so I would love to help take care of more pets! I have a job in the evenings, but am flexible during the day. I spending time outside with pets and having a companion for walks and runs! I can fit a large crate in my car if you need help with pick-up/ drop-off of your pet! I can also care for your pup at your house and take them out for walks, or take them to the beach or park.

About: I love animals all shapes, sizes, and ages! I’ve taken care of many animals in other’s homes— but back home (on the mainland), I have a rescue rottie who’s 4 and a sweet kitty! I can handle big dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special meds or dietary restrictions. Let me care for your babies! I currently work in the morning, usually about 5a-12/1p, but I can drop in or walk anytime after that! I usually go on an evening walk everyday anyways, so your baby will definitely get some exercise with me! I’ll come to your home throughout the day as many times as your pets may need! I’ll be sure to play with them, give them food/water, let them out to potty, and make sure all of their needs are taken care of so you won’t have to worry!
“Rebecca is very patient and loving with our Bella Girl. She follows our instructions and our Bella is comfortable around her. She also has Tibbies so she knows the special care they need. She is definitely our regular sitter now if we ever need besides New Year’s eve. Love that she also takes pics and videos of her 😊”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, I have experience training 4 dogs from puppy age through middle age and up until senior age! The dogs I have taken care of range from big dogs (german shepherds) to tiny dogs (teacup chihuahuas). I have a very active lifestyle that allows me to have fun with the dogs and get them active. I have experienced working with shelter dogs, I actively walked them and fed them. I HAVE BASE ACCESS :) !! My schedule has my days ending early afternoons so I would be available to stop in for walks/check-ins after. My nights are flexible for night visits. I currently live in dorm housing where animals are not allowed but for care inside client homes I will keep a watchful eye when letting your pet out and pay close attention to instructions.
“Argentina was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our pup, gave him multiple walks, and sent us several updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was respectful of our home, took great care of my plants, and even washed our bedsheets without being asked. She truly went above and beyond. We were so impressed that we rebooked her on the spot for our next vacation. It feels amazing knowing that our pup and home will be in the hands of someone we trust completely. We cannot recommend Argentina enough!”

“I would highly recommend Ky for all of your pet sitting needs! She took care of our high maintenance pups while we were out of town for over a week. Both of our pups come with their own unique behavioral issues and Ky handled them like a pro. She sent us daily updates and left our place nice and clean. We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have had multiple pets throughout my life so I’m very knowledgeable about different breeds and their different needs! About: I have taken care of from big dogs to small dogs, cats and birds from babies to senior! Most recent care is for a lady who owns 7 cats for 2 months :D It was drop in visit twice a day. One of the cats was 17 years old, so I had to make sure to give him medicines, clean up some oops accidents, hairball throw ups. I will spoil and take a great care of your fur family as I know they miss you guys when you are away. Your babies will have the best care like vacation because they deserve it! I will keep sending pictures to you but you don't have to respond (●'◡'●) I will call you or I will send you message if I need a response:) I will communicate with pet parents regularly by sending pictures, updates, and asking questions whenever needed. I would rather overcommunicate than undercommunicate to ensure pet owners feel comfortable, informed, and confident that their pets are receiving the best possible care. I will follow all care instructions closely and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have a big back yard, 3bed rooms, living room and dining room. There will be a plenty space for your lovely pets. Also, I do not mind cameras at all at your home when I do drop ins.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. 🐾 I’ve loved and cared for dogs with very different personalities, breeds, energy levels, and needs from curious puppies learning their way in the world to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra attention. What sets me apart is the patience and attentiveness I bring from my background as an educator. I’m observant, dependable, and genuinely enjoy figuring out what helps an individual animal feel happy and secure. I’m comfortable gently and consistently reinforcing puppy manners and established training, maintaining familiar routines, administering medications as directed, and providing the extra patience and care older pets may need. I’m also a lifelong animal lover beyond dogs and have cared for rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish. I understand that trusting someone with a beloved pet is a big deal. I want you to feel confident that while you’re away, your pet is with someone who will notice the little things, respect the way you care for them, and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. ❤️ My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week. 🐾 I’m an educator with a hybrid schedule, so I’m home for portions of the workweek and have availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pup. I’m also available on weekends and most holidays. I already plan my days around my own two dogs, so morning and evening walks, outdoor time, play, and plenty of attention are a natural part of my routine. I love being active and outdoors, and I’m happy to adjust walks and activities to your pup’s age, energy level, and usual routine. Whether your dog needs a midday check-in, a good walk while you’re at work, or some extra love and attention while you’re away, 🫶🐶 Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. 🐾 I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty and crate routines, and the household rules your pet already knows. I’m attentive on walks and especially mindful of leashes, doors, gates, other animals, weather, and each dog’s individual needs and cues. My background as a Montessori educator also influences the way I care for animals. I believe dogs are incredibly smart and benefit from many of the same things that help us learn and feel secure: patience, consistency, clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and an environment where they can safely explore and be themselves. I use calm, kind direction and redirection rather than harsh correction, and I give each pup time to build trust with me at their own pace. I’ll adjust activities to your dog’s age, personality, energy level, and normal routine and keep you connected with photos and updates along the way. My goal is for you to have peace of mind and for your pup to feel safe, understood, and cared for. 🌺❤️
About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy getting outside for walks, so dog walking is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers a calm stroll, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m also happy to provide updates so you know your dog is doing well while you’re away. I’m happy to accept last-minute requests whenever my schedule allows. Feel free to message me anytime to check availability i’ll always respond promptly. This is currently my only and main job. So my schedule is pretty open. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I provide walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and litter box or yard clean up as needed, and I always make sure pets get attention and interaction based on their personality and energy level. For drop in visits, I check on their wel being, handle basic care tasks, and spend time with them so they aren’t left feeling lonely. I’m also available for overnight stays, which allows pets to stay relaxed in their familiar environment while receiving consistent care and supervision. I treat every home respectfully and provide updates so you know your pet is safe and doing well.
“Brookette was great to book with! My dog loved her and I never once worried about him. She provided lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely book with her again!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Mililani walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Mililani maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mililani choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mililani. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
