I love all animals and I have been around animals all my life and I'm excited to meet everyone's furry friends. I currently work part-time in a restaurant, so my weekday hours can vary. However, I always work Friday and Saturday nights (typically 3:30–8:30 PM or 5–11 PM). Outside of those shifts, I’m very flexible and available whenever I’m not working. I make sure to keep my schedule updated so you always know when I’m free. When caring for dogs whether in my home or my client’s home I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I always follow the dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. “Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: I offer dog sitting in the comfort of your own home. I was near finishing my certification for being a veterinarian assistant, though circumstances changed due to COVID. Furthermore, I was a dog sitter/dog walker/provided boarding for 6 months via the website Rover, as you can see on on my profile of previous clients I've had. One of my dogs, named Kylo, has aggression issues towards other dogs, thus I have basic knowledge of behavioral training. I've also have had to administer weekly allergy shots to Kylo for the last 2 years. I’m currently a junior at UH Mānoa with there hopes of receiving my Masters in Social Sciences— Communication. During Fall and Winter seasons, I’m normally a Holiday Event Producer and Coordinator for E Noa Corp., also known as the Waikiki Trolley. However during my off-seasons I'm looking for a way to earn a little extra money. I've had to dog sit up to 5 dogs at a time, though growing up I've owned a total of 4 dogs, and I currently have 3 large dogs. While I unfortunately can't have any further pets at my house, I promise to walk your dog(s) however many times they may need in order to ensure their daily exercise. I also promise to play tug-o-war with them during their stay, or if they have a calmer demeanor I've love to cuddle or turn on the dog TV for them. I'm more than excited to meet you and your dog(s)!

About: We have always had animals of all sorts in my home growing up till now. I have two cats and a dog so ensuring care for your babies is a breeze. I’ve helped birth puppies and taken care of geriatric babies.
