About: I’ve always loved dogs. And since I was young I’ve always taken care of them to earn a living and build a hobby. And grew to love it more and more. I am definitely open all day Saturday and sundays and I’m free every other weekday after 5. So my schedule revolved around that work flow. If you have a fenced back yard or area for the pets to be in which is safe I usually ensure they’re not in harms way.

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I have been a pet sitter on here before but I was unfortunately locked out of my account. I was a 5 star sitter with 7 repeat clients, I kept pet sitting until I started my job at a pet store in 2024. Here, I worked with guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets, cats, small birds, and small lizards. I am also a level one certified veterinary assistant and trained in basic pet first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. In addition, I have two miniature dachshunds, two cats, a leopard gecko, and three crested geckos! After nearly two years, I am no longer at my job and am looking to get back into pet sitting. I am home most of the day and week getting things ready for my husband and I’s move. My pups are on a schedule where they eat twice a day; morning and evening. They are also crate trained, so leaving them to attend to your pets is not hard for me to do. I am always very careful to memorize any details anybody gives me. I love sending pictures of your pets to you and just overall providing love and attention to them when you aren’t able to.

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur baby behind to enjoy a vacation or for work. I will provide love and care the same as I'd want for my own. I currently have 3 indoor cats and an older long term foster pug. We are a pretty laid back, go with the flow type family so our schedule is flexible. We do go on daily walks and sometimes well jump in the car for a random car ride. Your fur pup will be added to the pack and, unless you say otherwise, will be included in any activities we do. I have 2 special needs cats that require a special diet, 1 cat that begs for treats and an older pug that just cant seem to get enough kibble. They all get love and attention on demand. I do have a room I typically keep kitties in away from my own to help keep their stress levels down from a new, unfamiliar environment. This also helps keep them safe and ensures they cant slip out the front door - which is always one of my fears.

I grew up always having dogs around, so it is very easy making pets feel loved and safe. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always care for them like they’re my own. I had a childhood black lab named Spunky for over 10 years, so I have a lot of experience and love in the dog department . However, I am open to all animals! I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! If you value peace of mind and knowing your dog is being taken care of the way you hope then you should look no further and book Kara to take care of your furry friend.”
