My own dog recently passed away, and we miss her every day. “Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! I am working full-time and this is my typical schedule: I am out of the house Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 6am-1:30pm, Tuesday’s from 6am-5pm, and Thursday’s from 6am-3:30pm. I am available in the evenings and all day Friday until Sunday. I have a big house and a yard and currently do not have any pets in my home. My house is smoke free and child free. I am happy to provide pictures and videos throughout the time I have them; whatever will make you feel comfortable! When I’m home, your pup(s) will be with me the entire time. I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

About: Hi! I’m Becky, and I absolutely love animals. I’ve spent my life around both dogs and cats and have extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My own dog recently passed away, and we miss her every day. While our family isn’t in a position to have a pet of our own right now, we truly love having animals around and enjoy every opportunity to care for them. I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule that allows me to be present throughout the day. If your pet is boarding with us, they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I have the autonomy in my job to take breaks for walks, playtime, potty breaks, belly rubs, fetch sessions, or simply spending quality time with your pet. When your pet stays with us, they’ll be treated like part of the family and loved as if they were our own. I have two young children who are gentle, kind, and respectful of animals. Because of this, I only accept pets that are comfortable around children. Whether your pet prefers long walks, active playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having company throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate their needs and routine. I care for both dogs and cats and will do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I have a lot of autonomy in my job, so if your dog has a certain schedule, chances are I can customize my day around them. I have a big fenced yard or a big comfy couch. Your pet will be able to choose if it wants to be outside or inside.
“KaVina was ABSOLUTELY amazing with my l lil man (Deuce). She kept the pics & videos coming. You could see the joy in my dogs eyes in the pictures & videos, I feel like my guy was truly able to live like he was at home. She took him for walks & played tug of war with him & kept him happy. I would definitely use her services again because she made him feel at home.”
“We left Bodhi with Madara and her family when we went out west for a week. This was our first time leaving him and Madara made us feel very comfortable and confident that he would be taken care of like he was their own. She sent us pictures and updates daily on how he was doing and the fun he was having! Madara was also very responsive leading up to the stay and maintained great communication about drop off/pick up times and any other questions we had. “This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with someone in Hawaii and Trinity did an amazing job with our dogs. I was a bit nervous at first, but after the initial meet with their dogs, I knew they’d get alot of play time. They had so much fun doing so many activities like the beach and dog park, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice knowing your dogs are well taken care of when you’re out on vacation. We received tons of pictures which was great!”
