About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since a young age, including raising guide dog puppies with my family. I’ve since owned dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, frogs, spiders, and fish so I can tackle many needs. I’m well-versed in basic pet first aid and dietary needs (having worked at a specialty pet shop that made its own healthy gourmet pet treats for several years). My own dogs have included a registered and trained therapy dog as well as my current rescue dog who I’ve trained through his struggles with anxiety and reactivity. He and I love outdoor adventures and being active! I’ve fostered over 20 dogs and cats through shelters of all shapes, sizes, and ages and can’t get enough. I’d love to get to know your pet and all their unique quirks! I’m a teacher, so my schedule is wide open during the summers and school holidays. During the school year, I’m free after 3PM weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I’m very conscious of pet health and wellbeing. About: I’ve raised my pup from 6 weeks until 3 years old. I LOVE dogs, especially pittys. I plan to get a dog in a couple of years so I would be so happy to help take care of your fur baby until I can get my own. I am working full-time and this is my typical schedule: I am out of the house Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 6am-1:30pm, Tuesday’s from 6am-5pm, and Thursday’s from 6am-3:30pm. I am available in the evenings and all day Friday until Sunday. I have a big house and a yard and currently do not have any pets in my home. My house is smoke free and child free. I am happy to provide pictures and videos throughout the time I have them; whatever will make you feel comfortable! When I’m home, your pup(s) will be with me the entire time. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

About: (I will be moving off island to the Virginia/Maryland area in August 2026.) I've had dogs my whole life and it didn't matter where the military took me, I would keep them with me. I had my previous dog for 14 years and 5 moves, he was a well traveled dog that lived a long life. I now have 2 pups, a 2 year old corgi, and a 1 year old jack russell. They keep each other company and they like to run around the back yard thats fenced in, wrestle, and play with other dogs similar to their size. I've watched friends dogs in the past, provided eye drops and medication for them. I plan on opening up my own dog boarding business when I retire from the military. I know the struggle of finding someone who can take care of pets on island and I would like to help alleviate some stress from pet owners. Recently the pups and I took a break on Rover from Nov 2025-March 2026. I fostered a mamma pup and her 7, puppies until they were all adopted out. I now have three dogs of my own because I adopted the mamma and her name is Ipo. I'm now experienced in puppies that are still nursing and everything that goes along with puppies from when their eyes are still closed until they are all grown enough to be adopted out. It was such an eye opening experience and I loved it. Which ever pet I take care of will be treated like one of my dogs. I come home for lunch everyday so the dogs go out in the morning, hang out in the house during the day. Five hours after I leave, I come home for lunch and let them out. Then another five hours go by and I come home at the end of the day and let them out again, and they run around the back yard. In my home, the dogs are safe and the back yard is fenced in. They are allowed on the couch and they can just hang out. In a clients home, I will respect the wishes of the client and do what is asked of me.

I was a bit nervous at first, but after the initial meet with their dogs, I knew they’d get alot of play time. They had so much fun doing so many activities like the beach and dog park, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice knowing your dogs are well taken care of when you’re out on vacation. We received tons of pictures which was great!”
