About: Animals have always been a central part of my life—there hasn't been a day where I haven’t been surrounded by them. I grew up caring for a variety of pets and now share my home with a senior dog and a cat who requires daily medication. I’m experienced in administering medications, including pills, liquids, and eye drops, for both dogs and cats. While in college, I spent three years volunteering at a cat shelter, working with cats of all ages and temperaments—from energetic kittens to sweet seniors, including those with medical needs. That experience deepened my understanding of feline behavior and care, and it came from a genuine place—being away from my pets at school was hard, so I found a way to stay close to animals through volunteering. I’ve also provided pet sitting and house sitting for friends, caring for dogs with specific routines and medical needs. Whether it’s walking, feeding, administering medication, or just providing companionship, I’m committed to treating every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and attention to detail. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I'm currently staying at home taking care of our two cats and dog so I have plenty of time to look after other peoples fur-babies! I have a large yard and live in a quiet community with a park, making it the best for long walks. I also have a dog of my own and two cats so your pet will always have company. Please let me know of any extra support your pet may require, I am pretty flexible and should be able to accommodate any special requirements.

“Malia is awesome! Rooty needs to be boarded for almost 2 weeks for an upcoming trip. To help prepare him for it, we had Malia watch him for about 6 hours. By the looks and sounds of it, he had a great time! We loved her updates and pictures that captured every phase of his visit - from playing in the yard, to walking, to chilling on the couch. She treated him like one of her own, and we're excited to see how he does on his one night overnight stay!”

“Just 4 days before this last stay with Joel, our dog had gotten severely attacked & bitten by another dog, at a local park. Bozzer (our puppy), was still in the early stages of healing. Joel was so kind to still take our dog, knowing he had to care for him a lot more than usual. Joel was AWESOME! He knew exactly what to do & reached out to us only when needed.
