“Christine provided great care to my pampered pet. He bonded with her husband (rather than her dogs) and was his constant shadow. Sending me photos and updates during my trip eased my concerns. When we dropped Bailey off, it was raining and he whimpered as if we were abandoning him. The updates proved my worries were needless.”

“Another wonderful stay with Yiye & Ta. Bella felt at home. They kept us informed and updated with pictures and videos of Bella. She looked so happy. We can tell how much love she received from Yiye & Ta.”

“Second booking with Tracey and this time it was a last minute booking. Tracey was very flexible and took care of Wally. Got updates multiple times a day. Thank you and will book again!”

“Angela was a life saver, she agreed to take in my dog Tank for a couple of weeks on short notice. We did a meet and greet and Tank was cool and comfortable at her place. She sent pictures and let me know how he was doing. Taking him on walks and just keeping him busy. So, if you need a sitter, give her a call. (Probably best to get in touch with her sooner than later.) lol Thanks again, Angela.”

“Miho walked our pup every morning and evening. She sent pictures and updates daily. I know that our fur baby was in good hands while we were away! I would highly recommend Miho!”

“It’s never easy leaving your fur baby with someone new but, Maddy made Bella feel like family which made this transition so much easier. Maddy is a wonderful dog whisperer and a great fur babysitter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND thank you so much for a wonderful experience.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My first furry friend was a rescue puppy that needed to be nursed back to health, which sparked my passion for caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve fostered many dogs and gained hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, medical needs, and behavioral challenges. I’ve trained both puppies and older dogs alike, understanding that patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are key at any age. I’m confident, calm, and prepared to handle most situations with care and attentiveness I’m currently a stay-at-home dog mom, which allows me to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. I occasionally take on side work, but I’m home the majority of the time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. We are a crate-trained household, and I do ask that owners provide their dog’s crate for their stay. If I need to step out briefly, your pup will be safely and comfortably crated in their own familiar space. Otherwise, they’ll enjoy plenty of companionship, supervision, and engagement throughout the day. We also have a spacious yard that offers safe outdoor time and plenty of room to play and burn off energy. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in yours. In my home, we provide a secure and structured environment designed to help dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. Our yard is fully fenced, and I supervise all outdoor time. I go outside multiple times throughout the day with the dogs — whether it’s for potty breaks, play sessions, or simply relaxing outdoors. Depending on the weather and your dog’s energy level, we may spend anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour outside playing games like tug-of-war or fetch. After playtime, dogs can cooloff comfortably inside with air conditioning. My dog is gentle, especially with smaller dogs, and stays close to me outdoors. I carefully monitor all interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. When it comes to feeding, I follow each pet’s established routine. While my dog free-feeds when alone, I understand that many dogs do best on a schedule, and I am happy to follow your specific feeding instructions. Clear communication, supervision, and consistency are the foundation of the care I provide. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own
“First time using Rover and so glad we found Joel! He took great care of our dog Naia, even while she had an unexpected injury. It meant a lot to know that she was in good hands while we were gone, and seems like she had a great time. Mahalo Joel!”

“Scarlett had a great time & did not want to leave her! She was able to adjust her schedule with short notice and would send photos periodically as an update ! Definitely a repeat customer here ! Thanks again !”

“Rosalinda was the perfect choice for my Bailey, I was nervous leaving her for that amount of time, but I was sent pictures and videos to put my mind at ease. My Bailey was happy and loved!! Thanks a ton once more.”

“My Cinnamon was in great hands with Simeon. This was our first time leaving my fur baby with anyone but Simeon was a great fit and available during the time I needed especially for the holiday. He communicated everyday and was very open to doing a meet and greet a few days before I travel. Upon coming back , I ran into an issue with my car therefore he was very understanding , patient and helpful, so I really appreciate this. Cinnamon enjoyed his time with his friends at Simeon’s place. I saw the small improvement in my fur baby like just going into his crate on his own. I felt assured with Simeon and will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful! In fact, she's such a great sitter that I almost hesitate to write this review because selfishly, I'd love to keep her availability to myself! This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise! Samantha is truly a sweetheart, and it's obvious that she has a genuine love for animals and a heart for what she does. The care, attention, and affection she showed our puppy exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful we came across Samantha and couldn't recommend her more highly. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Kuromi had a great time with Rieko and her family! Rieko provided constant updates and lots of pictures. Although this was our first time with this sitter (and using Rover), we felt very comfortable and knew that Kuromi was bring well cared for. Mahalo Rieko!”

“Kate was absolutely amazing. This was my first time leaving my dog with a pet sitter. I had a sitter that cancelled st the last minute and then I found Kate (I could not be happier.) Even though this was last minute Kate took the time to come meet me and my dog. She was wonderful with my dog. I was gone for eight days and I came home to a happy and healthy dog. I would highly recommend. Thank you again. Kate.”

“Excellent sitter. I was a little worried because our puppy has never had someone else watch her and can be quite guarded with other pets & people but she was an excellent sitter and even got our dog to open up to her after a little bit. Would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you.”

“Emma is an excellent doggie sitter! She's caring - to the dog owners and doggies, great at sharing how the doggies are doing - pictures and videos, and very patient. Definitely will be our regular sitter and highly recommend.”

“Kaia stay with Ciara and her dog, Chanel was great! The dogs played really well and Ciara was always providing updates and pictures. Kaia came home very tired and happy.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
