About: Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a full-time teacher and part-time pet whisperer 🐾 I have three spoiled & hilarious adopted cats (Tubby, Princess, and Gnocchi), and I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. Whether your pet needs a buddy while you’re at work, a trustworthy sitter while you travel, or just someone to pop in and give belly rubs, I’m your girl! I’m reliable, experienced, and know how to keep pets safe, calm, and happy. I can administer medication, send photo updates, and follow detailed routines (teacher life = master of structure 😅). Located in Ma’ili but happy to travel nearby. Let’s chat and see if I’m a good match for your fur baby! 💕 Weekends + weekdays late afternoons/evenings I’m a full-time teacher, so I’m available: • Weekdays after 3:30 PM • Evenings for drop-ins or overnight stays • Most weekends—flexible hours! I treat every pet like my own—with love, patience, and close attention to their routine. Whether it’s a cat, dog, bunny, or bearded dragon, I do my best to make them feel safe, calm, and cared for. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to your instructions and routines—feeding, water, walks or playtime, litter or potty cleanup, and making sure everything is secure before I leave. I always double-check doors, gates, and anything that could pose a risk. I send daily updates and cute photos so you’re never left wondering how things are going. As a full-time teacher and lifelong animal lover, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone—and I take that responsibility seriously 💕
“Moana was very content when we arrived home last night. I was so glad the photos Bridget sent us and Moana looked like two connected together 😃🤙🏻 When we planned another trip we will definitely contact Bridget to watch Moana 😃🤙🏻”

“Tatianna is great! She communicates with every visit and sends photos. I trust her fully to take good care of my animals when I’m away. I’d give her 11 stars if I could! She’s the best!”

“Dagmar was amazing! She was patient, and loving towards our little special needs kitty ?? I was nervous about going on a trip and being so far away from her while we were at a wedding on the mainland, but after our meet and greet I knew Thumper was in great hands! Dagmar sent multiple photos and videos each drop-in, and wrote detailed summaries as well. It eased my nerves tremendously. Based off her videos I know our shy and picky cat liked her ☺️ I will 100% rebook with Dagmar the next time we need a sitter! Thank you, thank you!!”

“We’d like to Thank Naomi for the excellent care she provided to our 2 dogs. Our pups are 15 years old, senior dogs with particular habits and tendencies. They have never been boarded or been cared for by anyone other than family, and this was the first time we’ve needed to use a service. It was important that we had confident in the person we selected to watch our pups. Upon meeting Naomi, she greeted our pups, took time to get to know each of them and asked insightful questions. She also endured my endless bather about the pups. She was patience and set our mind at ease. Naomi was wonderful and we’re so pleased, we received daily photos and updates. We returned home to happy and healthy pups. Having never used a pet sitting service, we are please with Rover, and more so, incredibly happy with Naomi service. We’d love to have Naomi back for future dog sitting services. On behalf of our furry family members, Albus and Zoey, Thank you Naomi for your excellent care.”

“Arianna was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond by sending many updates, checking in on me and my new puppy even when she wasn’t here for a visit, she was extremely patient with my new puppy, even helped clean up a mess in the crate a couple different times. I will definitely be re-booking! I highly-recommend her care!”

“Kenzie did drop in visits and walks while I was away. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and professional that I felt assured about the care of my pups. Highly recommend Kenzie to watch after your pups. Thank you Kenzie!”

“Yasmeen did an excellent job with my cat while I was away. She kept me well informed of how she was doing with pictures, and updates everyday. She even accepted a booking for an extra day, when I realized I had misbooked my dates. I will definitely try to use her for future needs.”

“What can I say, Leonard was clutch when I was in a holiday bind. I needed short-notice care for my diabetic dog and two others I was temporarily caring for. Leonard stepped in and cared for them as if they were his own fur babies. Truly appreciate his professionalism, care, and concern. He will be number one on my list should I need assistance again.”
About: I’ve owned a variety of pets since I was a child and have always been passionate about animals! I’ve also worked a few jobs in the animal care industry and am confident in caring for dogs in a wide range of environments and situations. I mostly have availability in the afternoons after 3pm but can also be available in the morning occasionally. I work part time and can be flexible. I’ve owned and cared for a variety of dogs and know that every dog is a unique individual. I am comfortable handling young, old, anxious, or difficult dogs and am dedicated to keeping your fur babies happy and safe
About: I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs and have spent over 20 hours volunteering with the Humane Society, gaining experience with different breeds, behaviors, and needs. I’ve trained a deaf dog using visual cues and consistency, and I’ve also trained my own Border Collie, both of whom were able to be safely off leash. I focus on clear communication, confidence-building, and creating a calm environment. And yes, dogs in my care are welcome to cuddle in bed if that’s what they’re used to and what makes them feel secure. Available daily after 4pm for walks or pet sitting. Available to pet sit/house sit on weekends Friday 1pm -Sunday 10pm. I can care for dogs who are okay with cats! I have a completely walled in property, although i do prefer the animals to be cared for in their own home to make them more comfortable, considering they will already be meeting a new person, this makes them much more trusting.
About: I have grown up around dogs, both big and small which has taught me so much about how to care for an animal. My dog Benny has become my best friend and I have gotten to learn so much while training and taking care of him. I have been dog sitting and puppy sitting for neighbors and friends the past couple of years, and I quickly learned I love it! I love going on long walks and hikes with Benny and would love to do the same with you dogs! I a just graduated high school and moved in with my aunt for the summer. I am currently available all day for dog walking and drop in visits. I have a fenced-in yard and a 3 year old golden retriever, Benny, who loves playing with dogs of all ages and sizes. I live close to a couple grassy fields, a dog park on the lake, and a dog park for little/older dogs.

About: Currently an owner of a 6-year-old Golden Retriever. Pet sitter in Portland, Oregon, and have previously owned bunnies and cats. Open to playing fetch and going on long walks all day, or cuddling! I am a college student home for the summer, so I am currently available every day. I work from home, so I am flexible with my time. I provide care in my clients' homes, as I am unable to care for pets in my own home. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention to help them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 16 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Waianae. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
