“Naomi is the best kitty sitter. When Naomi first sat for my kitty, he was skidish, but after her first time with Remmy he was much calmer. When she came to visit just before I left, my kitty RAN to her. We were both shocked! He was very happy when I got home. Happy adventures Naomi.”

“Yasmeen did an excellent job with my cat while I was away. She kept me well informed of how she was doing with pictures, and updates everyday. She even accepted a booking for an extra day, when I realized I had misbooked my dates. I will definitely try to use her for future needs.”

“Annika did a great job! I came home to happy healthy fur babies. We through her for a bit of a loop as one of dogs was sick right before we left and needed medication and another is a picky eater who likes to give new sitters a tough time. She did great through it all!”

“Arianna was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond by sending many updates, checking in on me and my new puppy even when she wasn’t here for a visit, she was extremely patient with my new puppy, even helped clean up a mess in the crate a couple different times. I will definitely be re-booking! I highly-recommend her care!”

“This is the second time we have booked with Tracy and we are even happier than we could imagine with the care she gives our sweet old pup. Her and her husband Paul are so gentle and kind and truly animal lovers!”

“Hannah was amazing! We reached out to her with incredibly short notice as our other sitter had to cancel due to an emergency. We were in a pinch and Hannah responded immediately and was willing to jump in and help! She was awesome with our puppy, Cooper and treated him like her own. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of caring for both dogs and cats throughout my entire life! This has given me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. My passion for animals extends beyond ownership, as I have also rescued and cared for both puppies and adult dogs, helping them adjust to new environments with patience, consistency, and love. Whether your companion is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or requires extra patience while adjusting to new surroundings, I take the time to build trust and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care! Accidents and unexpected messes are simply part of caring for animals and I approach these situations with understanding rather than frustration. I am completely comfortable handling cleanup, administering care, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs with kindness and attention. My goal is to provide a calm, dependable, and enriching environment where your pet receives the same level of love, respect, and care that I give my own! I’m attentive during walks, feedings, and playtime, and I prioritize safe handling in all situations! I keep environments clean and organized, including prompt cleanup of accidents and maintaining sanitary food and water areas. Pets are always supervised during care and I avoid unsafe situations such as off leash exposure or unfamiliar animal interactions unless specifically approved by the owner. About: Trained with large dogs and no problems with little ones. I’ve cared for cats, birds, reptiles and more. I love taking walks and playing fetch. I also know how to give medications and care for elderly dogs as well. I love animals, especially dogs and appreciate being able to help them. I’m available daily for walks, feeding or check in’s every day of the week. I have a decently sized yard that is totally fenced in, even for little dogs. I have an attached garage as well as numerous baby gates. I have my own vehicle and I’m skilled at caring for others homes as well.
About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I treat every pet like my own. From energetic pups who need a good run to laid-back cats who just want company and cuddles, I’ve loved and cared for animals of all personalities and breeds. Your family member will always be in safe, experienced, and genuinely caring hands. I am a RN with multiple days off a week which means plenty of time for long walks and to hang out with your furry friends! About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs of every shape and size my entire life. I have experience with dogs with diabetes and am comfortable giving them their shots. I worked with horses so large animals do not scare me. I am willing to drive to any part of the island but I am located in Ewa Beach so please allow grace for traffic if you are townside. I have an elderly dog and young cat in my home so all animals must pass a flea inspection and have recent vaccines. If animal does not pass flea inspection they will not be allowed to stay in my home but I will go to yours and help treat them. I am currently unemployed due to medical conditions not letting me be able to be in large crowds. I can adapt my schedule to you and your animals needs because of this and can be available anytime outside of my appointments and treatment days. I have a larger fenced yard in Ewa Beach, I provide filtered water for all animals and treat any animal in my home as if it were my own. In my house animals are allowed on furniture and beds. I will always leave a space cleaner than found, if I am house sitting/pet sitting I will lightly clean the area. If your animal becomes muddy, or dirty under my care I will wash them.
“Leonard was great! Kept my 3 cats alive and well! Gave me great peace of mind knowing they were well cared for when I went back to the mainland to deal with my mom's care.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life as I grew up with small breeds and now have two of my own huskies. I’ve had four dogs at once before (german shepherds). I have also owned two cats. I’ve trained three of my dogs since they were puppies. I absolutely adore animals and there’s no better experience than loving your fur babies as if they were your children. That is the type of care I can provide for your fur babies. I am teacher so Monday through Friday I get home around 4pm and stay home for the rest of the day. Saturday and Sunday and I am very flexible. Feel free to message me with any questions. I have a fenced patio and two friendly dogs to play with your fur babies. If your pet needs to be crated, that can be accommodated. While I am home, all pets can hang out with me and have free roam of my house. I also live directly across from a park to go on walks and play. The beach is within 5 minutes and I would gladly take them there if requested.
“Kenzie did drop in visits and walks while I was away. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and professional that I felt assured about the care of my pups. Highly recommend Kenzie to watch after your pups. Thank you Kenzie!”

About: Currently an owner of a 6-year-old Golden Retriever. Pet sitter in Portland, Oregon, and have previously owned bunnies and cats. Open to playing fetch and going on long walks all day, or cuddling! I am a college student home for the summer, so I am currently available every day. I work from home, so I am flexible with my time. I provide care in my clients' homes, as I am unable to care for pets in my own home. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention to help them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.

About: We both love cats and dogs, and we have two cats and a dog that we adopted from the Humane Society. Hiro volunteers at the Humane Society, providing cat enrichment, as well as at a cat rescue organization in town. Chisako also volunteers at the Humane Society, taking numerous dogs out for walks, as well as taking part in their Ilio Explorer program, where she takes out dogs for a day on a little field trip, helping to promote adoption. She was also recognized as volunteer of the month in March of 2026. We would love to look after your fur babies like they were our own. I currently work from home with a highly flexible schedule, allowing me to drop in to take care of your cat on days and times that work best for you. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 674 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Honokai Hale. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Honokai Hale. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
