About: Trained with large dogs and no problems with little ones. I’ve cared for cats, birds, reptiles and more. I love taking walks and playing fetch. I will always leave a space cleaner than found, if I am house sitting/pet sitting I will lightly clean the area. If your animal becomes muddy, or dirty under my care I will wash them.

As a pit-mix they need to be walked so they can sniff everything. Kaitlyn followed my lead on using the snacks in the puzzle toys to break up the boredom that Pit's can get if not stimulated. She was a great dog-sitter.”

“Tanya and her family cared for our senior and special needs doggies with the utmost care and concern. We were blessed to have got her as our sitter, we did a two night trial run to see if the doggies would adapt to their new boarding environment. From all the photos and conversations with Tanya the outcome was great and most of all very positive, so positive that we will be leaving them with her next month as we plan to go on a 1 week vacation which was long time in coming (3 years). About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve personally owned and cared for several dogs over the years (including both puppies and rescues) as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a family-owned dog grooming salon as a dog bather. There, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, and nail trimming/grinding. That experience helped me become confident handling dogs safely, reading body language, and making sure each pet felt as comfortable as possible. While I’m not a certified groomer or trainer, I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience and truly enjoy working with animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or boarding, I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to give them a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine, providing plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and meals. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Samantha was absolutely wonderful! In fact, she's such a great sitter that I almost hesitate to write this review because selfishly, I'd love to keep her availability to myself! This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise! Samantha is truly a sweetheart, and it's obvious that she has a genuine love for animals and a heart for what she does. The care, attention, and affection she showed our puppy exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful we came across Samantha and couldn't recommend her more highly. “The Holidays are tough, especially when you leave the island and have to find a sitter for your 4 legged companion. Our tradgey struck when our original Rover sitter told us she could no longer watch our dog. Being 5000+ miles away...right before Christmas...I panicked...cried... enraged...all the above emotions one shouldn't feel during the holidays. Abbi messaged me, I told her our situation and she took the reigns over to insure our family member is well taken cared of. I received pictures and videos of my babe almost daily.
