Pets deserve our empathy and energy, and I treat them like family. I've cared for multiple dogs and cats over the years, and even a few guinea pigs and hamsters along the way. From energetic young puppies, to overweight cats, to an elderly dog crippled by a degenerative spinal condition, each pet is different and deserves special attention. I'm happy to go on walks or jogs of the animal's preference with regularity, and never tire of playing fetch or catch, or just being a playful goof. In the past, I've also helped rehab my sheltie from two knee surgeries, gingerly assisting as it re-learned how to walk (twice) and gently holding it up it for every bathroom break. Through it all, pets of all stripes always bring a smile to my face and make my day better.
