“Nicole really took care of my doggo and cattos so well and gave them lots of love and care. :) She sent lots of photos and was always very prompt in communicating. Blazer, Choco, and Kimchi felt comfortable around her and got lots of attention! Blazer especially got nice walks and lots of play time. Would definitely book Nicole again and highly recommend her to others.”

“Tracy watched our cat Beans for a week while we were away. She was amazing at providing pictures and updates about our girl the whole week. She made it easy to communicate with her and was easily available if I had any concerns. She followed all of my instructions as to how to take care of her. I was so worried about going away and leaving my Beans, but she took such good care of her and eased my mind. We will book with Tracy again if we go away.”

“Kelsie was amazing at taking careful note of our family and our puppy’s needs! She’s trustworthy, professional, and friendly! Her top qualities are definitely kindness and attention to detail! She is so caring!”

“She was amazing! Even brought in our packages by the back door. Very thorough and considerate. I would definitely use her again and would trust her with my furry family member. We are very pleased with Rover and Gracie.”

“We needed some drop in visits for our 2 dogs after a recent surgery and I reached out to Marissa after reading her profile and reviews. She responded quickly and was ok with talking to me before booking as well. We had a quick call and I felt confident that she was the right person for my dogs. All visits went smoothly and Marissa handled my one leash reactive and super strong pup like a champ and gave my almost 15yr old the time she needed. If you are looking for someone to not only care for your dogs like she cares for her own, but listens and cares for them the way you want them cared for, look no further. My dogs LOOOOVE Marissa. Circle wags and smiles at each visit. 10/10 recommend.”

“Shane was nothing short of amazing. He went well above and beyond in every way possible. I cannot recommend having him care for your fur babies enough!”

“Whitney is great! We have booked her for walks and drop ins many times. Our dogs love their time with Whitney and we will continue to use her services! Highly recommended!”

“Moana was very content when we arrived home last night. I was so glad the photos Bridget sent us and Moana looked like two connected together 😃🤙🏻 When we planned another trip we will definitely contact Bridget to watch Moana 😃🤙🏻”

“Chisako was wonderful at caring for my cat for 3 weeks. I was updated on how my cat was doing, provided pictures and she kept the house clean while caring for my pet. Highly recommend her to care for your animal.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I previously worked as a veterinary receptionist and later as a veterinary front office manager, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with many different personalities and needs. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I will always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the week. I do have family responsibilities during parts of the day, but I carefully plan my schedule to make sure pets receive regular potty breaks, exercise, companionship, feeding, and consistent care. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I always do my best to follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medications if needed, potty schedules, walks, and each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. My goal is always to provide calm, dependable, loving care while keeping both pets and homes safe and respected.
“We've worked with Rebecca several times and she's always taken such good care of our pets. She cared for our dog for the first time today and he was so happy to see her! She's very reliable and we always feel good knowing she's taking care of our pets.”

About: I’ve cared for two amazing dogs in my life for years. I’ve walked them, bathed them, fed them and gave numerous belly rubs :). I would love the opportunity to live on your dog as well. I am currently a graduate student so my schedule is pretty flexible. Changes that need to be made will be updated as needed in a timely manner. The house sitting service would be at your house, and on walks I would always have your dog on a leash and under control at all times.
“Amber is so great. It was our first time using Rover and we had heard some not so great stories. But we gave it a try anyways and Amber made it the best experience. We now have a new dog sitter and we could not be more happier. Thanks Amber for everything:).”

“Arianna was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond by sending many updates, checking in on me and my new puppy even when she wasn’t here for a visit, she was extremely patient with my new puppy, even helped clean up a mess in the crate a couple different times. I will definitely be re-booking! I highly-recommend her care!”

“Veronica di a great job of taking care of my cat while I was gone. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who is experienced, loving and caring with your pet.”

“We have a senior cat, and decided it would be best for her to stay at home and get a daily visit. Meagan did a great job with our cat, she communicated well with us and sent pictures daily. This gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely use her services whenever I travel.”

“Thank you so much!!! She was a life-saver! Stacey answered my request promptly after a last-minute request. She came over to meet my dogs and they liked her. Stacey spent time with my dogs and made sure they had everything taken cared of while I was away. Thank you!”

Patch was well taken cared for. Loved up for us while we were gone. Calli took care of Patch like he was her own. If we go away again …. And we will ….. I’m hiring Calli again to come watch Patch. Thank You Calli for all the love and care that you provided for us while we were away. We had peace of mind while we were gone not having to worry about the cat all alone. He has a new friend and her name is Calli..! Mahalo!! Lisa Marie

Stacy was amazing! I could tell from what she wrote on the daily check-in cards that my cat got comfortable with her (mowing the whole time). She even went beyond to look for him if he wasn’t waiting her when she arrived. Thanks again Stacy for being so thorough and giving me a peace of mind.

In a word, communication--while we were away, Jayme sent clearly expressed notes about how our two cats were doing which reassured us that they were doing well. The photos accompanying these remarks reinforced this feeling. For us, the kind of trip that we were on would simply not have been possible without this support. We are grateful.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Naval Air Station Barbers Point. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
