Stay-at-home animal lover!
Growing up I helped my mom take care of dozens of foster dogs (including some with special needs) with the Hawaii Dog Foundation before deciding to adopt two of our own, Sammy and Li'i. Both were with me until the ages of 9 and 14 years old (lost due to cancer). My love of animals continued into my teenage years when I started volunteering for the Hawaiian Humane Society and later started a job as a Kennel Attendant for a local boarding facility. During this time I also had two rabbits and took care of stray cats within the community. Fast forward to now, I have one dog and three cats - all of which were adopted. Blue, a 2 year old Border Collie mix, has helped me serve as a foster home for dogs with Fur Angel Foundation and later a foster home for cats with the Hawaiian Humane Society. I (including Blue!) ended up falling in love with two of the cats fostered and they officially became foster fails in the summer of 2022. Our third cat became an official foster fail in the summer of 2023. I love all animals and have experience working with many different species, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I'm also open to working with pets with behavioral issues on a case-by-case basis. Whether you plan to board with me or are just seeking some drop-in services, I will treat every fur baby as one of my own and strive to provide them the best experience while you are away!

In a word, communication--while we were away, Jayme sent clearly expressed notes about how our two cats were doing which reassured us that they were doing well. The photos accompanying these remarks reinforced this feeling. For us, the kind of trip that we were on would simply not have been possible without this support. We are grateful.

Schedule
I am currently working remotely so am very flexible regarding scheduling. Your fur babies will be able to get lots of love, walks, and potty breaks all day! Please reach out so we can further discuss my current availability.

Safety, trust & environment
Since many of my fur babies are on daily schedules (feeding, potty, etc), I strive to follow this routine as much as possible to ensure your pet has the easiest transition possible - both in and out of my care. Please reach out so we can discuss your pet's unique needs and how we can best accommodate them. For boarding services, I have one dog and three cats who can keep your fur baby company while you are away! However, if your pets are not comfortable with cats, I can separate if needed. While all of our animals are primarily kept indoors, I do have a fenced-in yard that your dog can hang out in during the day if they wish.

Activities will be planned based on each dog's needs and wants. We can go on sniff walks, complete enrichment puzzles, play with toys, or just hang out on the couch! Please reach out so we can further discuss the best activities for your fur baby.
