About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life as I grew up with small breeds and now have two of my own huskies. I’ve had four dogs at once before (german shepherds). I have also owned two cats. I’ve trained three of my dogs since they were puppies. I absolutely adore animals and there’s no better experience than loving your fur babies as if they were your children. That is the type of care I can provide for your fur babies. I am teacher so Monday through Friday I get home around 4pm and stay home for the rest of the day. Saturday and Sunday and I am very flexible. Feel free to message me with any questions. I have a fenced patio and two friendly dogs to play with your fur babies. If your pet needs to be crated, that can be accommodated. While I am home, all pets can hang out with me and have free roam of my house. I also live directly across from a park to go on walks and play. The beach is within 5 minutes and I would gladly take them there if requested.

Been taking my dog Makana to Ines since 2023. He absolutely adores her and sometimes I think he likes her better than me lol. Shes so attentive to him, goes on walks, has play time and is so knowledgeable of dogs. She has prior experience with behavior training and has helped Makana with all types of training. He usually goes to her house and stays, the longest has been for two weeks. I even needed her once to go to my house to pick him up(needed to leave the island), I trusted her with my key and she locked up and picked him up for me. There was also a time where he wasn’t feeling well and I think had some allergies. She kept me updated and even suggested a few things to help him feel better. I know he’s in good hands! Excellent experience. I wasn't worried one bit after dropping Haukea off. Jessica was professional, sent cute pictures (not an overwhelming amount of photos) and communicated well! Haukea had a GREAT time! I highly recommend Jessica and will definately use her in the future.
Miho was amazing! She took great care of our dog Apollo and sent lots of pictures with updates. She was very flexible when we had to extend our out of town visit twice and she was able to watch Apollo for longer. She was very communicative and responsive and our baby boy was very well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Miho!
Rachel watched my Husky pup Koda for two weeks, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She was absolutely amazing with Koda the entire time — incredibly sweet, dependable, and clearly treated him like one of her own. Koda was happy, comfortable, and well cared for, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated, was easy to communicate with, and handled all of his puppy energy wonderfully. Our dog Mochi had her first sleepover and we are grateful that it went wonderfully! My family needed a quick staycation for the weekend and Rover was so easy and convenient to set up for the help that we were seeking! Finding Shane was truly a blessing! My Husband and I feel quite lucky to have found this opportunity and Shane and his lovely partner were the best for us and so trustworthy! Absolutely attentive to our Dog’s care which is a big relief and just simply awesome and kind dog sitters!! Our dog was able to go on long walks, even a car ride and she got a lot of cuddles and playtime which is her favorite! Shane followed through with all instructions and Mochi so well cared for! We even received some awesome updates which made us feel extra comfortable while we were away from her! We look forward to working with Shane again! - Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Akupu.

You and your Akupu sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
