“All I can say is I have found my PERFECT dog sitter. There was a sudden, heartbreaking death in my family. I was in a state of shock, needing to find care for our dogs while my husband and I travel to Oregon with our two kids within 48 hours. Luz was the third sitter I contacted and the first to write back. She responded quickly and was sympathetic to the situation. Her communication was thorough, letting me know she had another clients dog for a few more days and was willing to help. We messaged back and forth and I could tell her understanding of dogs was stronger than average. She spoke of prioritizing safety, boundaries, and was reassuring when I explained one of my dogs is pretty anxious and might need some space to feel safe if overwhelmed. I get nervous about my younger dog being in new spaces because she is so anxious. Luz updated me about how my dogs were settling in from the moment we dropped them off. From the start she took control of the process and was answering questions before I could ask them. I find this important to add because of how sensitive of a circumstance this was. Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life as I grew up with small breeds and now have two of my own huskies. I’ve had four dogs at once before (german shepherds). I have also owned two cats. I’ve trained three of my dogs since they were puppies. I absolutely adore animals and there’s no better experience than loving your fur babies as if they were your children. That is the type of care I can provide for your fur babies. I am teacher so Monday through Friday I get home around 4pm and stay home for the rest of the day. I am currently a preschool teacher and I usually have the weekends off. After work, I enjoy spending time with my dog by walking, playing, going on car rides, and cuddling on the couch. I always make time for my fur baby and I am willing to do the same for yours! I have a fenced yard and Emmi is super friendly. She gets along with other dogs really well and she is crate trained. She can be anxious or shy sometimes. She has been around many other dogs before and she is very playful towards them.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little. I will pet sit any type too! I could also send pictures of your pets during the day I have plenty of time to watch animals. Always at home unless I need to run somewhere. I can pet sit any day of the week I make sure they’re fed and if they have a feeding schedule. Take them on walks, also have play times and have lots of toys for them to play with!

“All I can say is I have found my PERFECT dog sitter. There was a sudden, heartbreaking death in my family. I was in a state of shock, needing to find care for our dogs while my husband and I travel to Oregon with our two kids within 48 hours. Luz was the third sitter I contacted and the first to write back. She responded quickly and was sympathetic to the situation. Her communication was thorough, letting me know she had another clients dog for a few more days and was willing to help. We messaged back and forth and I could tell her understanding of dogs was stronger than average. She spoke of prioritizing safety, boundaries, and was reassuring when I explained one of my dogs is pretty anxious and might need some space to feel safe if overwhelmed. I get nervous about my younger dog being in new spaces because she is so anxious. Luz updated me about how my dogs were settling in from the moment we dropped them off. I received multiple updates a day and a ton of adorable photos/videos. You cannot put a price tag on peace of mind. Overall, I want to include that Luz just made the entire process super easy. From the start she took control of the process and was answering questions before I could ask them. I find this important to add because of how sensitive of a circumstance this was. It was also very last minute. I didn't have time to do any meet and greet or what have you. I needed this to be taken care of and the security that I felt from Luz was priceless.”

Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”

As a pit-mix they need to be walked so they can sniff everything. Kaitlyn followed my lead on using the snacks in the puzzle toys to break up the boredom that Pit's can get if not stimulated.
