About: I got my first dog when I was 4 and started dog sitting for neighbors when I was 8. I worked with a group when I lived in Kansas City that did short term in-home dog fostering for 1 day to two weeks. My puppy experience comes from a few of my friends having puppies, but adult dogs are my favorite. I work full time from home, and can schedule walks in between meetings during the day. If the dog(s) are up for it I would love to take them hiking, SUPing, kayaking, to the beach, and to hang out with my friend's dogs. I prefer to keep the dog on a similar schedule to what they are used to and not overwhelm them with new experiences while their owners are gone. She forgot to refill the water bowl on the second day, sent minimal pictures that were often blurry, and delayed picking up the dog poop until the last day, which caused an increase in backyard flies since we're in Hawaii. Additionally, there were some discrepancies in her punctuality regarding the agreed-upon drop-in times. It's hard to put into words how kind and attentive Rebecca is. My old man is 16 but still loves his walks. Rebecca was so attentive and you could tell he was happy and felt safe when she would check in on him. I will continue to book with her until I leave Hawaii. She is also attentive the your home and things happening around and in the home. She let me know my electricity was out and gave me an update to ensure I knew Cooper was and would be ok until I got home. If I coudl give her 10 stars I would. My dogs absolutely adore Nancy, and so do I! This my second time having Nancy help with my dogs. She has stayed over to house-sit and watch my dogs for three days. She also helped me with drop in visits for my dogs when I needed. I have a Golden Doodle and a Chihuahua. My dogs are my children and I had so much anxiety over leaving them for the first time. It is so hard to find someone who you trust and who will give the love and attention to your animals like you would yourself. I actually had to go away for a surgery and that made things even more nerve racking for me. Nancy put me at ease right away. She actually started with a brief meet and greet so my girls could get to meet her before the stay. She updated me morning and night with photos and updates on how they were doing with me being away. My Chihuahua is very shy and she has a really hard time getting comfortable with strangers, but within an hour she was on Nancy's lap. She even went on walks with her! My Chihuahua will not walk with anyone without me! I came back to my home looking fantastic, my dogs had fresh clean water, they looked so well taken care of and happy. Nancy went above and beyond for me and my fur-babies and I will be referring her to every pet parent I know! I am so happy and grateful for her. I look forward to having her help me in the future and I know my pups are too! 5 stars!
If I could give Alyssa more than 5 stars I would. I contacted her last minute to watch my dog for six days while I was gone on a work trip. The evening I was leaving I got home from work and noticed my dog showing symptoms of an ear infection but didn’t have time to get her into the vet before my flight. The next day when the symptoms remained, Alyssa took her to the vet for me and treated her ear the rest of the trip. My dog then got diarrhea the last day I was gone, and I was out of phone service, so Alyssa handled it. During her regular visits she seemed to take good care of my dog and dedicate the time towards her care and needs. I highly recommend her if you need someone to drop in to take care of your dog.
Sarabeth has been incredible to our pup! She’s walked our pup consistently over the past year multiple times a week and she’s super reliable! My pup loves her and gets so excited to see her for her walk! We’re sad to see her go as we trusted her greatly taking care of our pup when we needed.
Julie went above and beyond during her hangout with our pups. They’re not the easiest dogs and since they’re so big they can be a lot. This did not bother her one bit and I know they loved every second of her visit. Would love to have her stop by again. Thank you!
