About: My husband and I have always cared for and owned dogs, but we currently don’t have one and are missing our fur friends! I recently moved from England to Hawaii to join my husband here for work, and before welcoming a dog of our own, we’d love to spend time caring for yours! I will be the primary caregiver, as I work fully from home. Back in England, I looked after my mom’s dog almost every day for the past six years whenever I wasn’t working at the hospital, as I worked from home a lot too. I also regularly cared for friends’ and family’s dogs for overnight stays, weekends and holidays. In fact, I became the go-to dog sitter in our little English village! As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and I bring that same level of patience, compassion, and commitment to every dog I care for. We know that every dog has their own unique personality and routine, and we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and so very loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, we’ll care for them as if they were our own! I (Carmen) will be the primary caregiver, with Cam (husband) home in the evenings for cuddles and post-dinner beach walks with us. I currently work from home, part-time as a UK-registered Dietitian. I’d love a fur colleague to keep me company! I walk, run or swim at the beach every morning or lunchtime and evenings too, and Kalama Beach is only a 10 minute walk from our house. My husband works with the military (he’s a ex-marine officer) so he’s not around as much but he would absolutely love doggy kisses to welcome him home after work. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We have a large shared yard that is fully enclosed, with two access points that we securely block off whenever a dog is outside, so they can enjoy the space safely under our supervision. We share the yard with three lovely neighboring couples who are also dog lovers, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Our home is a spacious two-story, three-bedroom house with plenty of room for your pup to relax. After beach adventures or muddy walks, we even have two bathtub showers ready for rinsing off sandy paws and giving your dog a little spa treatment! We’ll follow your dog’s usual routine, provide lots of love and attention, and ensure they’re always supervised and cared for as if they were our own.

About: I've had dogs around me since I was born. I love animals and am great at caring for them. By nature I'm a patient and gentle person, although I can also take control when necessary. Feeding, bathing, and protecting are all in my wheelhouse. I'm currently writing a book and I have lots of down time to get to know your pet and care for him/her. It would be easy for me to take your pet out for walks, play with them, and supervise them between writing sessions. Here on the island I only offer sits that are inside your home. I'll be very respectful of your space, and leave it clean when I go.

About: Proud stay-at-home dog dad. Experience with large and small and in between. Always happy to have new dog friends come and stay. Fun is important to us, but safety comes first. Always looking for study breaks to walk some beautiful pups! Studying full time for now, at home. Partner works full time. Primary caretaker for our two dogs - food, meds, walks. I am home all day, with transportation. For boarding, I will be in the house almost constantly. For my own dogs, I manage their medication and feeding. We walk several times a day and get out to the dog park or the beach every day.

About: I lost my childhood dog a few years ago and it’s been too hard to get another one. I’ve come to love caring for other people’s dogs and find it gives me that companionship without the heartbreak! I’ve had a range of experience from training puppies to administering medication to elderly dogs. Whether your dog enjoys lounging around or playing at the beach, I’ll adjust myself to match their energy! I work primarily swing shift so I have all morning (until about 2pm) open to spend with your pup, take them for walks, or check in on them. I have no other pets so I can give my undivided attention to your pets and their needs! You tell me what you need and I’ll do my absolute best to make it happen! This is just as much for me as it is for your pet, so I’ll do whatever makes your pet comfortable, ranging from going outside to expend that energy or me just being present as their companion. I have a really large wrap around yard. It’s not fenced, but we have a long rope set up to clip your pet to, if necessary.

About: I (Lauren) am a stay at home mom. I love animals and have experience with many different breeds of dogs. In my experience I've worked to foster dogs, secure donations to foster, and helped find them new furever homes. I will be attentive to you pups needs and will give lots of belly rubs! I (Dale) have worked as a dog handler by trade, i love all dogs, and so do my kids. I would love to share my home with your fur babies! I (Lauren) have a few appointments for the kids here and there, school drop off and pickup and kid related activities. I am flexible and have great availability! I (Dale) work in the morning most days and and home between 8-10am so I have a ton of time to dedicate to our animal care Im available to pick up and drop off between 8am and 630pm. Rates will vary with distance and time of day. We live in a 4 bedroom, air conditioned home, with a gated fenced back yard and a spacious front yard for pets to play! We have a doggy door so there's easy access for the dogs to go out back and potty or play. If your dog is unfamiliar with doggy doors of course we will let them out and try and teach them how it works. Fetch and play are never ending with the pups that visit us! If we were to come to your home to care for your pet, we would respect the environment and take care that your pet feels safe. We take multiple dogs at a time! We do meet and greets to make sure they are a good fit around our family and will do well with other dogs.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve grown up caring for Labs, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, Border Collies, Huskies, and a Mini Goldendoodle — so I understand everything from high-energy working breeds to small companion dogs. When I was 14 years old, I became the primary caregiver for my Chihuahua, who was under a year old when we brought her home. I cared for her throughout her entire life, including providing attentive, compassionate senior care as her needs changed in her later years. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to adjust care as dogs age. I’ve also cared for an energetic Husky, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs who need structured exercise and mental stimulation. I raised my Mini Goldendoodle from 6 weeks old and handled all of her training, so I’m confident working with puppies and reinforcing good habits. I truly believe dogs deserve an enriching life beyond the home. I love beach walks and hikes, and I tailor each outing to match a dog’s energy level and personality. While dogs may be part of our world, to them we are their whole world — and I care for every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work remotely from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Being home throughout the day allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention for dogs in my care. During working hours, I’m available for shorter walks (up to 30 minutes), drop-ins, and in-home care. My meeting schedule varies day to day, so timing during work hours will need flexibility, but I always communicate clearly to coordinate a time that works best. After 3:00 PM, I have full availability for longer walks, outings, and dedicated time with your dog. In My Home: Dogs staying with me have access to my office/guest room, the main living areas, and a fully fenced backyard at all times. Because I work remotely from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, I’m home throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. Dogs are never isolated and can stay near me while I work, helping them feel comfortable and secure. They’ll also have the opportunity to play with my docile and friendly Mini Goldendoodle, Nova, who loves having company. Of course, I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and will separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I provide regular walks, playtime, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level — whether that’s relaxed outdoor time or more active exercise. I follow feeding schedules, routines, and any specific care instructions closely to make the transition from your home to mine as smooth as possible. Drop-In Visits (Client’s Home): For drop-ins, I focus on keeping your dog’s routine consistent in their familiar environment. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I always respect your home and leave it exactly as I found it, and I provide updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.
