About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with a Maltese who was my best friend, and since then I've been the go to dog sitter for friends and family. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including Huskies, Border Collies, Poodles, Shiba Inus, and many more. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and tend to treat them like my own kids. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or keeping them company while you're away, I'll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I work from home so I'm pretty flexible. The earlier we communicate the more flexibility I have. Typically more available in the afternoons and evenings I know leaving your dog with someone else can feel a little nerve wracking, so I'll do my best to make it easy for both you and your pup! Whether I'm stopping by for a visit, taking them on a walk, or staying overnight, I'll follow their usual routine and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and getting lots of love while you're away.
“Eugene and his family took great care of my cat while I was away. My cat received lots of play time and cuddles, and seemed very happy when I arrived home. I definitely recommend Eugene!”
About: I’m a loving pet owner with a 5-year-old pug, and I’ve had years of experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to person for friends needing a trustworthy caregiver for their dogs, watching over more than 10 dogs of various breeds. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or playtime, I understand the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs and providing them with a safe, comfortable environment while their owners are away. I currently work remotely in the morning, I’m available for walks anytime after 2:30pm, but I am also home so I take work breaks to let the dogs outside, feed them and give them attention in the morning. While boarding I will take your dog on a little adventure each day whether that’s a walk, a hike, to the dog park or to the beach. Whatever you’re comfortable with me doing with them! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly pug to keep your dog company. Our home is dog friendly, and with a very food motivated pug we are always making sure there’s no food that your dog can get into by accident.
“Thank you for all your sweet attention to our buddy ColbyJack! It was comforting to know he was in good hands. We loved receiving your updates and photos. Thank you!”

“She did a great job taking care of Tiamat! Very happy with her, our dog really liked her coming to see her amd walking her! Thanks again for taking care of our dog! Will book with you again for sure if you're available the next time we go on a trip and need someone to watch our dog!”

About: Since childhood I've had pets of all shapes and sizes. Let me care for your pet as you would do. They are ohana and deserve the very best! I'm currently working part-time and am home for the majority of time most days. Occasionally I do have to go into the office for 4 hour periods. I will visit or stay with your pet in your home. I will walk them as requested. Provide multiple potty breaks throughout the day. Clean drinking water will always remain accessible, and the feeding schedule will follow your directions. Leave me with clear instructions and I will make sure that they are safe, comfortable and happy while you are away.
“I recently hired Madison from Rover for a weekend of drop-in visits for our two dogs. While Madison did a decent job overall, there were a few areas where improvement is needed. She forgot to refill the water bowl on the second day, sent minimal pictures that were often blurry, and delayed picking up the dog poop until the last day, which caused an increase in backyard flies since we're in Hawaii. Additionally, there were some discrepancies in her punctuality regarding the agreed-upon drop-in times. Despite these issues, Madison was friendly and showed genuine care for our pets, earning her a four-star rating.”

“Great service! I felt very comfortable leaving my kitty with Jamie. She was always communicating and letting me know when she would be heading over. Grateful to have hired her. I highly recommend her if your anxious leaving your pet because they will be in good hands with Jamie!!”

“If you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional person to watch your pups look no further, Jasmine will go above and beyond for them! Extremely thorough and polite, our dogs still wait at the door for her! We will definitely be booking her again!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve grown up caring for Labs, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, Border Collies, Huskies, and a Mini Goldendoodle — so I understand everything from high-energy working breeds to small companion dogs. When I was 14 years old, I became the primary caregiver for my Chihuahua, who was under a year old when we brought her home. I cared for her throughout her entire life, including providing attentive, compassionate senior care as her needs changed in her later years. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to adjust care as dogs age. I’ve also cared for an energetic Husky, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs who need structured exercise and mental stimulation. I raised my Mini Goldendoodle from 6 weeks old and handled all of her training, so I’m confident working with puppies and reinforcing good habits. I truly believe dogs deserve an enriching life beyond the home. I love beach walks and hikes, and I tailor each outing to match a dog’s energy level and personality. While dogs may be part of our world, to them we are their whole world — and I care for every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work remotely from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Being home throughout the day allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention for dogs in my care. During working hours, I’m available for shorter walks (up to 30 minutes), drop-ins, and in-home care. My meeting schedule varies day to day, so timing during work hours will need flexibility, but I always communicate clearly to coordinate a time that works best. After 3:00 PM, I have full availability for longer walks, outings, and dedicated time with your dog. In My Home: Dogs staying with me have access to my office/guest room, the main living areas, and a fully fenced backyard at all times. Because I work remotely from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, I’m home throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. Dogs are never isolated and can stay near me while I work, helping them feel comfortable and secure. They’ll also have the opportunity to play with my docile and friendly Mini Goldendoodle, Nova, who loves having company. Of course, I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and will separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I provide regular walks, playtime, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level — whether that’s relaxed outdoor time or more active exercise. I follow feeding schedules, routines, and any specific care instructions closely to make the transition from your home to mine as smooth as possible. Drop-In Visits (Client’s Home): For drop-ins, I focus on keeping your dog’s routine consistent in their familiar environment. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I always respect your home and leave it exactly as I found it, and I provide updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waimanalo
Alice was such a great sitter for our lab, Thor. She gave him the sweetest attention and kept us up to date with each visit. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. We will absolutely be re-booking her and recommending her services!

If I could give Alyssa more than 5 stars I would. I contacted her last minute to watch my dog for six days while I was gone on a work trip. The evening I was leaving I got home from work and noticed my dog showing symptoms of an ear infection but didn’t have time to get her into the vet before my flight. The next day when the symptoms remained, Alyssa took her to the vet for me and treated her ear the rest of the trip. My dog then got diarrhea the last day I was gone, and I was out of phone service, so Alyssa handled it. During her regular visits she seemed to take good care of my dog and dedicate the time towards her care and needs. I highly recommend her if you need someone to drop in to take care of your dog.

Julie went above and beyond during her hangout with our pups. They’re not the easiest dogs and since they’re so big they can be a lot. This did not bother her one bit and I know they loved every second of her visit. Would love to have her stop by again. Thank you!
