About: I have always been an animal lover but am waiting for the right time to get a dog of my own. Through my busy schedule, I have always made time to volunteer at local animal shelters to provide time walking dogs, shelter care as well as foster care. About: I got my first dog when I was 4 and started dog sitting for neighbors when I was 8. I worked with a group when I lived in Kansas City that did short term in-home dog fostering for 1 day to two weeks. My puppy experience comes from a few of my friends having puppies, but adult dogs are my favorite. I work full time from home, and can schedule walks in between meetings during the day. If the dog(s) are up for it I would love to take them hiking, SUPing, kayaking, to the beach, and to hang out with my friend's dogs. Upon my return, my dog was happily prancing around with a lot of energy! I feel that was because Willie received great care from Lehua, while I was away. I will continue to schedule appointments for Lehua to come over to help support me and my dog.
If I could give Alyssa more than 5 stars I would. I contacted her last minute to watch my dog for six days while I was gone on a work trip. The evening I was leaving I got home from work and noticed my dog showing symptoms of an ear infection but didn’t have time to get her into the vet before my flight. The next day when the symptoms remained, Alyssa took her to the vet for me and treated her ear the rest of the trip. My dog then got diarrhea the last day I was gone, and I was out of phone service, so Alyssa handled it. During her regular visits she seemed to take good care of my dog and dedicate the time towards her care and needs. I highly recommend her if you need someone to drop in to take care of your dog.
Julie went above and beyond during her hangout with our pups. They’re not the easiest dogs and since they’re so big they can be a lot. This did not bother her one bit and I know they loved every second of her visit. Would love to have her stop by again. Thank you!
