Your dog’s responsible best friends
My husband and I have always cared for and owned dogs, but we currently don’t have one and are missing our fur friends! I recently moved from England to Hawaii to join my husband here for work, and before welcoming a dog of our own, we’d love to spend time caring for yours! I will be the primary caregiver, as I work fully from home. Back in England, I looked after my mom’s dog almost every day for the past six years whenever I wasn’t working at the hospital, as I worked from home a lot too. I also regularly cared for friends’ and family’s dogs for overnight stays, weekends and holidays. In fact, I became the go-to dog sitter in our little English village! As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and I bring that same level of patience, compassion, and commitment to every dog I care for. We know that every dog has their own unique personality and routine, and we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and so very loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, we’ll care for them as if they were our own!

Carmen and Cameron did an amazing job watching my dogs overnight. My dogs were quickly put at ease by their care and had a fun time on their walks to the beach. Carmen was also excellent with communication and sharing updates. Overall it was a great experience for both myself and my dogs!
Carmen and Cameron took wonderful care of my dog. I was looking for last-minute coverage and they were there to help. Carmen is very detail oriented and made sure that the dog was comfortable and everything went smoothly.
Carmen and Cameron have both looked after my gorgeous Nougat for many years now, since she was a puppy, and they have also looked after a lot of my friends dogs. We all agree that they are one in a million when it comes to caring for your furbaby. They both are really reliable and absolutely love all animals, but especially dogs. As Cameron has a busy job, Carmen spends the most time with the dogs, and she spoils them endlessly by playing ball, going for walks, giving them healthy treats and spending all of her time with them, loving them as her own. Being a healthcare professional herself, I'm quite sure that Carmen treats her dogs equally as well as her patients, as she gives full attention to their diet, their exercise and their wellbeing! Trust me, you could not leave your beloved furbaby in better hands than with Carmen and Cam. I have no hesitation in recommending them, best ever!
Carmen has looked after our baby girl Trixie on numerous occasions. Carmen is a natural with dogs and they all absolutely love her. Trixie gets so excited to see Carmen! Carmen is responsible, sensible and I would never hesitate to leave Trixie with her for walks, overnights and anything inbetween. Trixie adores her and so do we!

Schedule
I (Carmen) will be the primary caregiver, with Cam (husband) home in the evenings for cuddles and post-dinner beach walks with us. I currently work from home, part-time as a UK-registered Dietitian. I’d love a fur colleague to keep me company! I walk, run or swim at the beach every morning or lunchtime and evenings too, and Kalama Beach is only a 10 minute walk from our house. My husband works with the military (he’s a ex-marine officer) so he’s not around as much but he would absolutely love doggy kisses to welcome him home after work.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We have a large shared yard that is fully enclosed, with two access points that we securely block off whenever a dog is outside, so they can enjoy the space safely under our supervision. We share the yard with three lovely neighboring couples who are also dog lovers, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. Our home is a spacious two-story, three-bedroom house with plenty of room for your pup to relax. After beach adventures or muddy walks, we even have two bathtub showers ready for rinsing off sandy paws and giving your dog a little spa treatment! We’ll follow your dog’s usual routine, provide lots of love and attention, and ensure they’re always supervised and cared for as if they were our own.
A typical day
PLEASE NOTE for daycare and boarding we do require that your pooch is able to be comfortably left alone for up to one hour per day. We’ll keep your pup happy and entertained with plenty of playtime, walks, beach adventures, and of course lots of cuddles! We’ll tailor their days to their energy level and their favourite activities, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention and love.
