About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

About: I have taken care of my 2 dogs for the past 10 years and I have taken care of my neighbors dogs many times. I have a very needy dog so I know when a dog needs to go for a walk or needs food. My only job is pet sitting so I am extremely available as long as I have time to go on hikes or walks around the city. I walk one of my two dogs 4-5 times a day and I walk my other dog only once or twice a day because she is very old but I feed both of them 3 times a day. I only gives them baths when they get stinky.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2008, with up to seven in my home at a time. I’m a big softy for dogs but love pets of all kind. I currently have one loving, kind, and gentle one year old pup Kaipo who would love to have a buddy! I’m currently employed full time but transitioning out of the military which leaves me with plenty of time for your furry friends! I typically work from 9-2 pm and the rest of the day is dedicated to your loved ones! I have access to a private dog park for your fur babies to meet new friends and have some fun! My dog Kaipo is also ready and willing to make some friends of his own!

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful! In fact, she's such a great sitter that I almost hesitate to write this review because selfishly, I'd love to keep her availability to myself! This was our very first time leaving our puppy with a sitter, and naturally we were a little nervous. Samantha immediately put our minds at ease. Before our trip, she took the time to meet with us and show us where our puppy would be staying in her home, which made us feel so much more comfortable and confident. While we were away for nearly two weeks, Samantha kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos. It meant so much to know our puppy was happy, safe, and well cared for while we were gone. What impressed us even more was that she actually helped reinforce our puppy's potty training during our time away. We came home to a puppy who had continued making progress, which was such a pleasant surprise! Samantha is truly a sweetheart, and it's obvious that she has a genuine love for animals and a heart for what she does. The care, attention, and affection she showed our puppy exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful we came across Samantha and couldn't recommend her more highly. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

Alika came back a happy dog, which tells me he had a good stay with Andrea. Appreciate all her help with Alika. When she picked him up he did not hesitate to jump in her car. He really loves his time with her when she comes and walks him as well. I will definitely use Andrea again.”

About: I petsit frequently for family, friends and neighbors for weeks at a time in my home and their homes. I have years of experience around all kinds of different animals. I understand different personalities in pets and can work around them. I stay at home with my two kids, who love animals. My schedule is always open so I am able to follow a unique routine. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of toys, energetic kids and two cats. One cat likes to play outside while the other stays inside. I have rooms set up in my home for animals who prefer to be by themselves.

“Steve took fantastic care of my chocolate lab for over a year! He went above and beyond to make sure my boy was always comfortable and got the care he needed. He also sent plenty of picture and video updates so I’d always know that he was having a good time and well cared for. I knew it was a good sign when my dog would always be so excited to see Steve. My dog is 96 lbs and still has a lot of puppy energy but it seems Steve was more than apt to handle it. He was always our trusted go-to sitter and also our weekly dog walker! Steve walked ‘Umi every weekday during lunch, assuring he got the exercise and attention he needed when I was at work. Mahalo, Steve!”
