Because of my background in veterinary medicine and my experience working in clinical settings, I am very accustomed to scheduling my day around animals’ needs including feeding times, medications, exercise, enrichment, and monitoring.

I prioritize punctuality and consistency, especially for pets who rely on routine for comfort and stability. Morning and evening care fits seamlessly into my day, and I am used to adjusting my schedule to ensure animals receive timely medications or special attention when needed.

I would like to know of any sort of bite history so I can take caution when dealing with fearful pets, whether or not he/she is house trained, any allergies/special medication needed, and whether or not he/she is good with other dogs/kids.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated while in my care. Activities are tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level from interactive play with toys, fetch, or chase games for dogs, to gentle wand or laser play for cats. I also provide puzzle toys, treat-dispensing games, and enrichment activities to engage their minds and keep them curious. For dogs, walks and outdoor exploration are a favorite way to get exercise and satisfy their natural instincts. For cats, I focus on vertical space, climbing, and safe exploration, as well as quiet bonding time for shy or anxious kitties. My goal is always to make each visit fun, enriching, and stress-free while strengthening trust and comfort with their human companions.

I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with animals my entire life, especially dogs and cats, and that lifelong love led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I was just accepted into vet school and have extensive hands-on experience working as a veterinary technician, as well as serving as an Assistant Manager of Veterinary Services at the Hawaiian Humane Society.

Abby was great with my fur babies. They adore her and im sure they will miss her! Abby sent photos daily and followed the feeding recommendations. Abby is patient and worked so well with my very shy dog. She was always in touch with us which we appreciate. The house was immaculate when I returned and my dog was very happy!!
Abby will be the most loving , caring and protective dog caregiver you have. Pure breds , mutts , AKC , it will not matter. She will take better care of the dog than whatever the highest requested amount is. No issues whatsoever. You will be fortunate to have her :) I unequivocally trust in her and the care and compassion she will show.
