“Immaculate service, communication, and attention to detail. Got home and the cats’ first reaction was asking when Rebecca was coming back! Her ability to connect with even our shy little one was touching - with lots of photos and video as evidence. Very responsive and reliable. Highly recommend!”

“We were a little nervous since this was our first time using Rover, but Samantha made the entire experience so easy. We appreciated receiving all the regular updates with lots of pictures, and quick communication. It was clear our pet was in good hands with her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with again with Samantha and highly recommend her to anyone in the area!”

“Veronica was great! Our three kitties were well taken care of. Everything was done as we had asked and then some. We’ve been putting off going away where we would be gone for more than a day for a long time now. Because we didn’t think we could trust anyone with our kitties. But now at least we trust one person, Veronica. So thanks Veronica!”

About: I’ve been caring for my own two cats for the past six years, and I truly enjoy giving them the attention, playtime, and care they deserve. As a military spouse, I understand firsthand that many military families don’t have friends or family nearby who can care for their pets while they’re away. I also have base access if needed, making it easy for me to provide reliable care to military families on base. I’m excited to give your cats the same love, attention, and care they would receive from you while you’re away! I’m currently a stay at home mom for my son, which provides time and opportunity to properly take care of your cats without rushing and spend quality time with them. I will treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your cats are in a clean, loving environment while you are gone so that you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
“Lily is great with my girls! Great communication, and she even did a mini photo shoot with them for Christmas which was so sweet. You can tell she really cares about the pets she watches. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“I was in a bind looking for a sitter for my boy Max. On short notice Andrea was able to watch Max. She came over each day to take care of Max and provided pictures. We were missing Max and those pictures meant a lot!”

“Kristina was very accommodating and extremely kind! My cat is super shy but warmed up to kristina quickly after meeting her. She helped me out a lot and would love for her to sit for my cat Nia again!”

About: As a professional hypnotherapist specializing in emotional trauma, I bring a calm, empathetic presence to pet care. Combined with my nannying background and experience raising three dogs from puppy (2 Bullterriers & 1 Staffordshire mix) and currently caring for my recently adopted 1.5 year old female doberman, I create a balanced environment perfect for soothing anxious pets, and caring for dogs of all ages I am currently building my business and have plenty of flexible home office time, so there is lots of time and opportunity to go for walks and play time. Our home is roomy & secure and I can fit a small to medium crate if needed. We have lots of walkways and I love to go take dog for beach walks or easy hikes when I can
“Caroline was amazing! She sent daily photos and updates while I was away, which kept me totally at ease. I came home to find all my fur babies healthy, happy, and well cared for. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. I’ll definitely book with Caroline again. highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my neighbors animals and ones of my own since I was ten years old. I am a very responsible and loving pet caregiver. I enjoy walking, grooming and feeding all types of animals. I have experience with clicker training puppies and experience taking care of senior dogs. I am more experienced with small to medium sized dogs. I am home 90% of the week so I have plenty of time to care for animals. I love to take walks and grooming dogs. I have a clean living environment with a small fenced in yard. I have a medium size dog of my own who can be crated if needed.
“Omg…Colby was the absolute best! She took care of my baby to perfection for the 5 days my family and I were on vacation. Joy really loved her walks and tummy rubs. She kept me updated daily. If I could give her 100 stars I would. I will for sure use Colby again when my family and I go on future vacations.”

About: My mother fostered animals and assigned the responsibility for each dog to a different sibling. She always said this was to teach us about responsibility. While I was in university, pet sitting became a hobby of mine. In my final year, I took care of my neighbor's bulldog daily. During this time, I was able to provide him with basic obedience training. I have experience in dog training, and I also have a service dog for whom I was present during the training process. I’m currently enjoying some downtime from a traditional job, which means I have lots of time to adjust to your pet’s unique routines! I have a sweet golden doodle service dog who is great at adapting, so we’ll make a fantastic team. I’m here for you throughout the week, even on holidays! Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Caring for pets involves several essential practices to ensure their well-being. This includes providing the appropriate portion of food tailored to their dietary needs, ensuring that their environment is free from any hazardous materials, and offering regular walks in safe areas to promote exercise and mental stimulation. These steps are vital for maintaining a happy and healthy pet.

About: I’m new to dogs but would love to learn! I can guarantee that each and every animal will receive the love, care and attention they deserve! I’m currently working from home so I’m open to taking care of the fur baby whenever, unless they’re staying with me I won’t walk dogs after 6:30. Booking with me entails; nonstop attention and love, especially since I work from home. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.
“Jennifer was amazing! We accidentally locked her out and she tried everything in her power to get inside. It was really appreciated and when we were able to figure out a solution to get her in, she took great care of Tripp and sent so many pics. We are sure Tripp has a friend for life.”

About: I grew up with a dog, hamsters, axolotls, and guinea pigs and adopted a cat in my adulthood who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. My niece is an energetic Golden who I enjoy taking out for a fun doggy day together whenever I can. I love being around animals of all kinds. I work as a nurse during the week, I am scheduled for 4 10 hour shifts however when we don't have a lot of patients I don't work my full hours. I love to care for animals in my free time. Rebecca was amazing taking care of my very shy cat. She got him to come out by day three! I got videos and plenty of pictures every day. This really did make my vacation better knowing my little man was in such good hands. Thank you so much for taking time with him!

Sean is amazing pet sitter. He took wonderful care of my cat! Always sending really cute pictures of her. If you want someone who can make you feel secure about your pets, give informative updates on your pets, and send you pictures of your cat that will make you smile, then he's the man!

Kristina has helped take care of my senior cat twice and has been great both times! She was available even on short notice the second time. I have a hard time leaving my cat and worry a lot, but Kristina’s photos and updates during each visit make me feel much better. Very communicative throughout as well. I know my kitty is in good hands as her knowledge and care for animals is evident - she was even able to administer my cat’s medications while we were gone. I am so happy to have found someone I can trust and would recommend Kristina to anyone looking for care!

Tamah went above and beyond for our cats. One of our pets was put on emergency antibiotics days before our trip was scheduled. Tamah did an amazing job making sure she was given her medicine daily and sent us lots of updates. I would absolutely have her back! 10/10!

Taylor was so amazing with our boys! They welcomed her from the get-go, including our shy boy. I didn't have to worry at all. She provided pics for updates, which was a plus! She went above and beyond for what I expected. I would have her pet-sit in a heartbeat again. 🤗 thank you so much, Taylor. 😄

I’ve booked Megan multiple times for longer trips and couldn’t recommend her more. She’s incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond. She did an amazing job caring for my cats, including managing their medical needs, and I always felt confident they were in great hands. I truly trust her with my fur babies and am so grateful for the care she provides.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
